Cape Removal Tally

By Jeanne Fudala

In going through the Faves List in search on the LN which I've not yet found, I saw a photo from the final ep, "Finders Keepers" which also shows Zorro dueling capeless and a small dark photo which also seems to show a capeless scene in "Fortune Teller".

New Cape Removal Tally. These pertain to eps where the cape is removed as Zorro as there are also a number showing Diego in the Z suit sans cape and mask.

Season One
"Zorro Fights His Father" --brief from the back. Ep.18

"Secret of the Sierra" --as Zorro and as Diego Ep.23

"Zorro Lights A Fuse" Ep.30

Season Two--at least two of these also feature the famous "Shrug" as noted in "Faves".

"Affair of Honor" Ep.70
"Long Live The Governor" Ep.75
"Fortune Teller" Ep.76
"Finders Keepers" Ep.78

Cape And Mask Both Off. Scenes in "Sierra" of course. Then there are also those eps such as the early Eagle ones where Diego comes back to the secret room and as he is changing back is showing Bernardo the latest eagle feather find. And an early Monastario one--the 2nd one in fact--"Zorro's Secret Passage". He pulls his nightrobe over the suit to answer M's summons. And in "Zorro By Proxy" where they are hiding the barrels and he sends Tornado to lure Garcia away. And in "Bernardo Faces Death" where cape and mask are blown off him.. And when Basilio unmasks his unconscious from in "Z Takes A Dare". Oh, and then there's the last scene in "Rendezvous" as he is putting on the outfit to "honorably" read AM's love letter.:).
