The Cape

Mmmmmmmmmm. My favorite is when he deftly sweeps up his cape and jumps onto the carriage and onto the wall. So many scenes....not enough words to describe them all.

One that comes down almost to a single series of moves is my favorite when he grabs his cape and dashes to the wall in Affair of Honor.

Then when Zorro shows up to take over the fight, he whips that cape off and just takes my breath away. Zorro working that cape always does me in.

Last but not least-"Secret of the Sierra" (ep. #23).-Guy is in almost every scene, and,when he's dressed as Zorro, he ISN'T WEARING THE CAPE!!!

My favorite scene/shot is as he stands on the wall, looking back over his shoulder toward the courtyard as he is tying the cape. "I love his laughter throughout this and the merry way he deals with all commers"

Speaking of cape removal, the episode which has the distinction of being the very first where he removes the cape is "Zorro Fights His Father". He sends paco off on Tornado, removes the cape and throws it up to Bernardo before scaling the rope B throws him. Albeit it is a frustratingly brief scene and we only see it from the back but it is a herald of things to come.....
