Here are just a few facts about our favorite steed Tornado:

Tornado celebrates his birthday on January 1

He was born in 1950

Since he is a thoroughbred, he gets the "January 1" official birthday, as do all thoroughbreds.

He was named "Diamond Decorator", sired by "Silver King" out of a dam "Pat S", a black Missouri Fox Trotter.
