This is my story....well, mine or it could be Amelia's. You see, I kinda had a bit of fun with her body. I accidentally took it over for two months and really screwed up her world, man! Heehee. Who am I? My name is Anya Rene and I am 17 years old and I live in the real world. You see, Amelia lives in the Slayers World, which here is just an anime cartoon show and stuff. NEways, I decided I was sick and tired of living this stupid horrible life...so, I cast a spell, since I AM a witch you see, and take over her body, making her be put in sort of a hybernation, so she would never know, never miss anything. I really loved that sort of stuff.
Ok, so what do I look like? Well, I am fat, ugly and wear glasses and a retainer. Sucks, huh? Well, all that's gonna change. Did you know that Ami has a really good singing voice? Huh! Go figure! So, anyway you see, it was like just any normal day to me and any normal anime to me. So, I decided, what the hell, I think I'll have a little fun. So I made up this spell for wish transference. That means that I make a wish and it can come true....just a little joke for me on my behalf. So, I sit down and concentrate and do my little thing and suddenly, out of nowhere, this light goes....WHAPT! Ah! I'm freaking out and suddenly.......it goes black!

(Narrarated)

Amelia blacked out in the middle of the meal, Zelgadis, Lina and Gourry quickly rushing to her side. She sat up a few minutes later, moaning and rubbing her head.

"What happened?" She said. (Inside, she heard her voice, small and squeaky and her eyes popped open) "Wha-!?!"

Amelia sat still, her eyes wide and she looked confused at her hands. "OH, SHIT!"

"Amelia!" Lina scolded, shocked by the princesses sudden language.

Suddenly, she screamed shakily, then stopped and moaned, then laughed loudly, stopped suddenly and sighed, placing her forhead in her palm, her eyes closed.

The other three travelers just stared at her in confusion. Zel decided to break the silence by putting a hand on her shoulder. "Amelia, are you ok?"

Amelia looked up at him and skreeched, falling back and scooting away from the table. Zelgadis blushed with embarrasment and anger.

"You could be more rude about my apprearance, Amelia." Zel sat down, covering his face.

"Oh, man! Your Zelgadis Greywards!" She pointed. Zel looked at her and stared her down, an eyebrow cocked.

"I think I know my name, Amelia." He groaned.

"No! Why are you calling me that!?" She screamed! "Oh, geez! I can't believe this is happening to me!

"Amelia, are you ok? And why wouldn't he call you Amelia?" Lina stood.

"Because that's not me! I mean, that's not who I am! AH! What the hell?!"

"Amelia, that is what we have always called you!" Lina protested.

"But-but! >>What am I doing? I made this wish, this is what I wanted.....to be Amelia! Heehee, now it's time I had fun...ok, hmmm, Zel!hahhhhahha<<....um. Nevermind....Sorry, it must have been the food, Lina. " Amelia smiled and Lina sat down, staring at her weird.

(Now for my fun) Anya, the person actually inhabiting Amelia's body, reached her hand underneith the table and squeezed Zelgadiss' leg when Lina and Gourry finally got up and left to search for directions to another town. Zel squeaked and jumped up staring at Amelia with wide eyes.

"What the hell did you do that for?!"

Amelia (Anya) stood and pressed herself up close to Zel's body till he backed up against the wall. "What? Don't you like it, Zel-kun?"

"What did you call me?!" (Zel-kun by the way, means 'lover'.)

"I called you Zel-kun, Zel-kun.....Don't you like it?"

"No!" He shook his head.

"Oh, come on. Aren't you tired of being alone? Treated so badly by everyone because they don't like the way you look?"

Zel studdered. "Y-Yes, b-b-but-"

Amelia placed her finger on his lips. "Well, I think you look wonderful! I think you are the hottest thing I have ever seen in my life! And if you didn't know already...I am very much in love with you, Zelgadis." She pretended to look sad as she dramatically backed away, placing the back of her hand on her forhead and turning partially away from him. "I know you would never feel the same about me! You could never love a little girl like me! It's no use! My life is over with out you!" She drops her head still dramatically. (THANK YOU Drama Class! Haha!)

Zel walked up to her and grabbed her shoulders. "No!, No, that's not it, Amelia. I didn't know!"

Amelia turns, again dramatically and wraps her arms around his waist. "OH, Zel! Do you think you could ever return my love! Please, oh, please! Don't let me hurt like this any longer!" Amelia smiled to herself into his chest. She pretended to start to cry.

"Amelia! Oh, please don't cry! I didn't know! How can you love someone like me, a horribly disfigured man! Not even a man!"

"I don't care, Zel! Can't you see that I love you the way you are?!"

Zel smiled at her and, much to Amelia's (Anya's) amazement, kissed her hard on the lips. Amelia wrapped her arms around his neck and he around her waist.

Ameila sobbed when they pulled away. "Oh, Zel!" They hugged and kissed again.

(Oh, this is so much fun!!!!!)

Amelia pulled away, gasping for air and looking strait into Zel's eyes. Dear God! He looks like an ANIMAL! Growr! Whooh! Heehee, this is going to be great, thought Amelia.

Amelia sighed, leaning in against his chest and panting for air. "Geez, Zel-kun, you don't know just how good of a kisser you are!!! HA! wow....."

Zel smiles seductively and lifts her chin. "That was one way...here is another."

< Zelgadis leaned down and barely placed his lips to hers, letting the smooth wettness of his amazingly soft lips caress hers. Amelia sighed against them, about to faint with the heat. Zel's tongue gently traced her lips. Amelia's heart jumped tightly with excitedment and she moaned softly. Zel pulled away, leaning down gently to look into her eyes.

"You ok, Amelia?"

"Um, yeah...." Amelia was in a daze.

Zelgadis gave a small huffing laugh and wrapped his arm over her shoulder almost lovingly possesive-like.

Amelia leaned into the crook of his arm and sighed contently. "Wow, that was the best first kiss in the world."

Zel looked at Amelia in shock. "You've never been kissed before?!"

Amelia blushed embarrased. "No."

After a moment, Amelia pulled back. "Hey, tell you what. Why don't you go mess around a little bit and I'll come find you soon."

"What are you going to do?"

"Shop! What does every girl do? SHOP SHOP SHOP! heehee."

Zelgadis laughed at this and kissed her again, before letting her slip from his grasp and walk out the door.

Zelgadis sat down with a sigh and smiled to himself. "Wow. I've got a girlfriend. ME."

Amelia (Anya), knew exactly what she wanted to buy.

< Amelia bought alot of material and found a sewing machine, suprise, surprise, in an apparel shop. She also bought what looked like a bathing suit.

Ok, so what did she come up with?

**tan ones too

**A light pink (Yech!) tank top with lace frizz on the arms.

**A Christina Aguilara type tank

**A black mini skirt that snuggled at her waist tightly and had high slits up the sides

**black vinyl boots with a zipper up the side....don't ask how

**a short black cotton dress....little straps

**VERY SHORT cuttoffs....jeanshorts that almost reached up to her ass

**tight ass jeans

**a very short short black tank top. shows her middrift very well.

** a tight wrap around yellow top. No straps.:) **and the coolest bikini this side of Miami!

Lina and Gourry had returned and sat down at the inns tavern with Zel. They were just about to ask where Amelia had run off to, when a wolf whistle from someone at another table caught their attentions. He commented on the 'babe' that just walked in the tavern. All three looked over and their jaws hit the floor. Zel quickly composed himself and stood, straitening his shirt.

Amelia had her hair up in little pigpails and she looked absolutely mouth-watering to all the men in the room, whom, by the way, watched her with fixed eyes as she made her way to Zel, wiggling her little ass, on purpose of course. Zel held his arms out slightly and Amelia giggled and ran funny towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck and jumping up to wrap her legs around his waist. He laughed and held her butt with his hands. She leaned down and gave him a quick kiss, then jumped back down, Zel's hands moving to her waist. Zelgadis sat down and Amelia moved over toward the side of the chair and sat on the arm, sliding down it, into Zel's lap (Christina Aguliara "what a girl wants" style) as his arms went around her waist.

All the while, Lina and Gourry stared on in dissbelief.

"When the hell did this happen!?!??!!" Lina screeched, her head growing to the size of half the table and her fang rearing out. "And what the hell are you WEARING?!"

Amelia's eyes lit up and she giggled, pointing. "COOL! HER HEAD GOT HUGE. DUDe, you have fangs! Aha!"

Zelgadis bursted out laughing.

"Ok," Amelia sighed, leaning more onto Zel. "To answer your questions..after you left this afternoon......and a tank top with cutoffs and go-go's."

Amelia grinned sheepishly, then looked at a confused Lina.

"Wha?" Lina managed to mutter out.

"A black tank top, cutoff jean shorts, and vinyl 'go-go' boots with a zipper side." Amelia smiled again.

"NONONO! THATS NOTWHATIMEANT!!!!!!!" "oh." "Well?!"

"Um, ok, after you left, I squeezed his leg, "Zelgadis blushed as Amelia told the story. " then he jumped and asked me why. I told him I loved him and he kissed me and then he kissed me again, and then I told him I had to shop. That's it."

Zel nodded. "I mean, how did you two become a couple?" Zel laughed and scratched the back of his head.'"Well, I donknow-just sorta happened. I mean, when you love someone, you should be togather, right?"

Amelia's eyes shot open. "You- you l-love me?" Zel realized he hadn't really told her like she had him. "Yeah." he whispered. "I do. I love you."

Amelia's eyes watered and she snuggled against his chest, causing Zel to smile.

Lina sat back and waved her hand at the couple, sighing in resignition. "I give up. Whatever. Anyways-WAITER!"

Amelia stiffled a giggle.

Amelia stipped down to nothing and quickly jumped into the water, giggling lightly.

Zelgadis jerked around to where the sound was and stared, trying to see anything. He heard splashing and followed the spring's flow around to the small area. His eyes shot open as he saw Amelia casually pushing the water out of her way as she swam towards the miniature waterfall.

'She must not realize I was here. Hmm. I thought Amelia always bathed with Lina.' Zel thought, and though his concious ate at him for doing so, he stayed where he was, watching her with curiosity. Amelia giggled to herself, knowing very well that Zel was just around the corner.

Amelia reached the waterfall and turned around so that she was facing away from it, Zel now on her left, and stood.

Zelgadis almost fell backwards as she stood up, leaving NOTHING to his imagination since the water only came up to mid-thigh, below her hips. Amelia ran her fingers through her hair, causing her body to move in provocative ways. By now, Zelgadis was very aware of his hardon. He shifted uncomfortably in the water, reaching down shyly.

After a complete wash , Amelia dived under the water and out of Zel's sight.

Zelgadis nearly gasped as Amelia came shooting out of the water, arms to her sides and strait up into the air. He was completely confused.

Amelia started to spin, then the force of her spin increased and she whirred quickly, then came quickly to a hault, her hair almost completely dry. She floated down to just above the water and shook her head, laughing. Then she decided it would be fun to try some aero-acrobatics. Amelia turned upside-down, then back up, giggling the whole time. She put a finger into the water and pulled it out, licking the fresh water off.

Amelia noticed something out of the corner of her eyes and snapped her head in the direction.....of Zelgadis! Zel fell backwards in surprise and struggled to swim away quickly, but he wasn't quick enough. Amelia came Ray Winging it down in front of him and into the water. She floated in the water before him, Zel red as a cherry and sweatdropping in embarrasment. Amelia smiled when he looked down and swam up to him until she was staring right in his face. She felt around in the water and found his hands in hers, linking her fingers in his. Zelgadis looked up into her eyes as she smiled sweetly at him. Carefully inching forward, she pressed her lips to his softly in a gentle kiss. Zelgadis squeezed her hands and kissed her back, then they untangled their fingers and wrapped their arms around each other.

When they pulled away, both were panting softly at how intense that the kiss had become so quickly. Their arms had grasped desperatly at each other, thier tongues locking sweetly, mingling in a perfect moment.

Amelia swam backwards, pulling Zelgadis with her, holding his hands. The two swam around each other, exchanging quick little kisses now and then, before they heard Lina calling out for them. Though dissapointed, they got dressed quickly, knowing the embarrasment if Lina found them. As Amelia pulled on her belt, Zelgadis came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her neck. She leaned back for a moment, then pulled back, smiling and taking his hand, lowering her head for a second as they walked away.

That night it began to rain. Out of the blue, it poured down in sheets of heavy rain, sweeping people out of the streets. The new couple walked down the hall and as Zel and Amelia were going their separate ways, Amelia stopped in front of her door, across from Zelgadis'. <>>

Amelia turned on her heals..........

Zelgadis was about to walk into his room, when he felt someone behind him. He turned and stared at Amelia, who stood about a foot and a half from him. "Ameila, are you ok?"

Amelia lifted her head and looked at him. "Zel......um...." Amelia twiddled her thumbs togather and looked down. "Um.....well, see, I was uh...I was wondering.....um....well, uh."

Zel took the last step between them and tilted her chin up and kissed her.

"Amelia, do you, uh, do you wanna come in?"

Amelia smiled at him and whispered. "Yeah."

Zel unlocked his door and took Amelia's hand behind him, then walked into the dark room, never turning on the light, her right behind him, and closed the door and locked it. He turned to Amelia and looked at her.

Zel wrapped his arms around Amelia and held her closely, relishing in the warmth and the sweet smell that radiated from thier bodies, the candles....and of course...the rain. Silence filled the room, all except for the sound of their heavy breathing, the candles wax popping to the fire, and the rain outside.

Amelia smiled to herself and cuddled closer to Zelgadis, who had his eyes closed and was nearly asleep.

"Zel?" Amelia asked weakly.

"mmm?" was all he could do.

"I'm gonna blow out these candles, ok? Just to be safe."

Zelgadis opened his eyes tiredly, blinking. "Ok, I'll help you."

Zel sat up, grabbing his tan pants and pulling them on. Amelia decided she liked Zel's shirt better and grabbed it.

"Hey!"

"I like it. Can I wear it?" Amelia blinked her eyes seductively.

Zel laughed lightly and kissed her forehead. "Yeah. sure."

Amelia pulled his shirt over her head. It fell to her knees and she giggled, finding this funny. She, then pulled on her underwear and started blowing out candles. Zel stared on the other side of the room. They both worked their way around and ended up on either side of one candle.

"Make a wish." Amelia whispered.

Both shut their eyes and blew the candle out at the same time, then made their way, hand in hand, in the soft light from the streets below, back to the bed and fell asleep in each other's arms.

Amelia woke to the sound of birds outside. She turned her head to the window. The rain had stopped. Good. She turned back to the warmth at her side and smiled, gently stroking his face, then kissing him, being careful not to wake him up. Zelgadis smiled in his sleep.

My wish came true, Zel." she whispered to the sleeping Chimera. "Your still here with me and it's real."

Lina made her way down the hallway to Amelia's room. It was time she had a girl to girl talk about her change in lifestyles. She knocked on the door. No answer.

"Amelia?"

Lina pressed her ear to the door. Silence. Lina knowcked again, only louder. HMP!

"Well, maybe her 'boyfriend' will know. huh." Lina made her way across the hall and knocked on Zel's door. Instantly she heard thumping and frantic voices talking quickly. Then footsteps.

Zelgadis opened the door slightly poking his head out. He had a sheet wrapped around his body. Lina looked at him strangely.

"Amelia's missing from her room...you wouldn't happen to know where she is, would you?"

"no." he replied quickly, trying to shut the door before she could-oops! Too late.

Lina pushed the door open and gaped open-mouthed at Amelia, who was sitting up in the bed, holding a fur comforter to her chest to cover herself. She had rid herself of the shirt a bit earlier when the couple had awoken and gotten a bit frisky. =^_^=

Zel put a hand on his forehead and closed his eyes, sighing. He pushed the glaring Lina out into the hallway, still holding the sheet around his naked body.

"Lina, listen. I-"

"Gods! Did you two--"

"Uh, well......yeah."

Lina turned beat red in embarrassment. For the first time, she didn't know what to say.

Zel smiled and put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm gonna go back in. Amelia's probably wondering what I'm doing."

"No I'm not!" came a voice from inside, then a gasp at the realization she had just made herself know.

Zel couldn't help but laugh, imagining Amelia propped up against the door. He heard her scuffle back to the bed.

Ok, you know what...." Lina began, catching Zelgadis' attention again. "I'm just not gonna worry about it right now. I'll talk to you guys later, but now, I think I just want to go eat and get that last image out of my head."

Lina walked away, leaving a smiling Zel. He opened the door and walked back in, shutting and locking it behind him. He flopped down softly beside the blushing princess.

"So, you were listening, were you...." He teased, crawling closer.

Amelia blushed brighter.

"Well, I think I'm just gonna have to teach you a lesson, now aren't I. Come here!"

Amelia giggled as he growled playfully and dove at her, causing her to squeal happily. She purred back in return, laughing. Zel stopped licking her neck in a ticklish way and sat up, looking at her with a smile that said he was schemeing something.

"What?" Amelia asked, a bit worried about that look. She propped herself up on her elbows.

Zel layed back down on her and stared into her eyes. " I seem to remember a favor I still haven't returned." he grinned wickidly.

Amelia looked confused at him, then caught on. "Oh."

"Lay down" he whispered.

Amelia sat up and crawls off of the bed. "I'm gonna take a bath." She grinned back at Zel, then walks into the bathroom, leaving the door open.

Zel lays back on the bed and sighs contently as he hears the water turn on and then off. Seconds later, he hears Amelia step into the tub and sigh, leaning back.

After about five minutes, Zel's eyes pop open and a sleek smile spreads across his lips. He stood and walked over peaking into the bathroom. The tub was facing mostly away and Amelia was sitting up, scrubbing her arms with the soap. She didn't hear him.

Carefully, he slipped into the room and closed the door quietly. Amelia was humming a strange. Zel tip-toed upto the tub and let the sheet fall softly from his waist. He slipped into the water behind her so smoothly, not even a ripple occured. Then, he sat down right behind her and stretched his legs out on her sides. Amelia saw two blue feet slid up beside her legs and wrap around her waist, quickly pulling her to him. Amelia gasped and turned her head.

"ZEL!!" She smacked him with her palm on his chest, then pulled her hand away, rubbing it.

"What?" he looked at her hand and gave her a look that said, 'you should have known'. "Well, you should have known that I have stone skin and it would hurt." he said sarcastically and took her hand in his, kissing her palm. Zel lifted his knees out of the water, leaning back and relaxing. Amelia settled back against him, sighing.

After an hour of resting and washing each other, the two lovers emerged from the bathroom in robes. They got dressed and headed downstairs for breakfast, quickly discovering that it was actually time for lunch. Lina just glared at the two, her mouth open and ready to bite down on a peice of chicken. Suddenly, she discovered that the peice that moments before was going to be in her mouth was now missing and getting ready to be eaten by Gourry. She quickly snatched it back, smacking him on the back of the head.

"MINE!"

"Aw, Lina, you had more than me already!" Gourry complained.

"So, I am a growing woman, and a growing woman needs more food!" She snuffed, then noticed Gourry leaning over to examine her chest closer.

"It sure don't look like your growning, Lina..."

"FIREBALL!"

Gourry twitched on the flood as Amelia and Zelgadis sat down across from them.

Lina stared them down. "Well?"

"Well what?" Amelia asked.

"HELLO!!!!!" Lina almost smacked her, but decided against it from the look Zel gave her.

"Lina, whatever we did is none of your buisness." Zelgadis stated calmly, ordering a cup of coffee from a waitress.

"NONE OF MY BUISNESS!?!?! You corrupt a young girls innocence and it's none of my buisness?!???" Lina fumed.

"NOW SEE HERE-!" Zelgadis stared, but Amelia stood up and put a hand out.

"Lina, if anything, I corrupted HIM. I am the one who started it, and besides, I'm too old to be a virgin! And there is noone else I would rather loose it to than the man I love, so just BUTT OUT!"

By now, Amelia had gained the attention of the entire tavern. Lina just stared in shock... speechless for the second time that day. Amelia sat back down. Zelgadis was even staring at her wide eyed.

Gourry sat up. "Who lost their virginity?"

Everyone turned, gaping at him.

'Gods!' Thought Lina, 'Why does he have to know about THIS stuff so much and nothing about other stuff he should know about!'

"Shut up, Gourry!" Lina hit him, sending him to the floor again.

Amelia was feeling powerful and on a roll. She stood again, leaning over the table towards Lina.

"And you shouldn't treat Gourry like that either!!!! If you Love him so much, then why do you hurt him like that?! I don't understand you Lina Inverse. I know how much you care and how you would just die if he weren't here, but when he is, you just about kill him over the littlest things."

Lina was half up in her seat and sat back down, blinking when Amelia said this and blinking.

Amelia huffed angrily and shoved her seat back, standing and hurrying out. Zelgadis snapped out of his trance, glanced at Lina and raced after Amelia.

"Amelia wait!"

Amelia quickly ducked behind a corner and slammed herself up against the wall as Zelgadis ran past.

"You look like Ame-chan, you talk like Ame-chan......but you are not Ame-chan." Xellos phased in next to her.

Amelia fell back, startled by him.

"XELLOS!!" She yelled angrily.

He squated down in front of her, grabbing her chin softly and kissing her.

"XELLOS!" She squeaked, pulling away.

"You see. Your not my Ame-chan."

"No, I'm not YOUR Ame-chan, I'm Zelgadis'!!" She said, standing.

"No, your not Ame-chan."

Amelia (Anya) stared at him with shock.

"Amelia is there, yes, but there is also someone else in her astral plane. Two entities, one is Amelia's but it is not active, it is asleep. No, you are not Ame-chan. So....who are you and why are you in her?"

Amelia (Anya) sighed and sat down, resting her back against the wall. Xellos sat down, cross-legged in front of her.

"Well?"

"My name is Anya." She lowered her head. "Anya Rene. And I am from the real world."

Xellos' eyes popped open and stared at her. "The REAL world? Then, what is this world."

"The Slayers world. An anime world."

"A WHAT world??" Xellos scratched his head in confusion.

"Where I come from, Anime is like cartoons that are drawn by hand to make a moving picture....you know. A movie?" Xellos shook his head and Amelia (Anya) continued. "A bunch of pictures drawn in sequence to make an image that moves and does something on alot of paper. It's very special pictures though. A world that I really wanted to be in."

"So how did you come to be in my Ame-chan's body?"

"I dont know. I am a witch you see and I was casting a wishing spell to be in the Slayers world as someone that I would love to be and BOOF, here I am two months later and in love with Zel." she said.

"So, let me get this strait. You ACCIDENTALY took over my Amelia's body and have been messing with the Chimeria?"

"Yeah, but it's just me, not her."

"You have to tell the others."

"No."

"Yes."

"NO."

Xellos stood taking her with him and looked her in the eyes. "Yes, for the sake of my Ame-chan, yes."

Xellos teleported suddenly to the tavern in which Zelgadis had just returned with no luck of finding Amelia. She was held tightly, with an annoyed look on her face, by the wrists against him.

Zelgadis growled and prepared to hurt Xellos. "AMELIA! Let her go!"

"This," Xellos stared. "Is not Amelia."

Amelia (nay) rolled her eyes.

"Xellos, stop your games and let go of Amelia! " Lina prepared herself to throw a FIREBALL.

"I told you, Lina-san, this is NOT my Amelia."

"YOUR AMELIA?!!?!?!?" Zelgadis fumed.

Xellos' eyes turned almost red. "Yes, MY Amelia. You see, Chimera, Ame-chan and I have been togather for quite a while. Why do you think she stopped bothering you a while ago? Her and I have had quite an interest!"

Zelgadis glared at Amelia. "Is this true?"

Xellos quickly added in her challenge. "If she is Amelia, she will tell you, and if not, then you will get that answer." He turned to her. "Answer truthfully and I'll let go. You must tell them."

"Amelia, is_it_true?"

Amelia sighed heavily and looked away.

"Now how would I know that?" she sighed again.

LIna stepped forward, extinguishing her FIREBALL.. "But, your the one involved, aren't you? You should know."

Zelgadis glared at Amelia sideways, partly in fear, partly in anger. "You ARE Amelia....... aren't you??"

Amelia looked up at him, frowning "Well, see now, there's the thing...."

Lina fell to the floor and Zelgadis stumbled a step forward. "WHAT?"

Zelgadis gaped at her and Xellos released his hold. Zelgadis was red with fury.

"WHERE THE HELL IS AMELIA??? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH AMELIA???!?"

Tears begand to roll down Amelia's cheeks. "I don't know." she answered quietly.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW!" Zelgadis began to charge at her, but Xellos phased in stopping him in his fury. Amelia was backed away, huddled in fright against the wall. She collapsed, her legs going out and began to sob wildly.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know. I didn't think it would really happen, and I didn't mean to take over anyone's body. It just sorta happened. I just wanted to get away from that hell that I lived in and when I saw that I was finally someone worth looking at, I just didn't want to give that up, I wanted to be worth something, to someone. And then I fell in love with you, Zelgadis, I didn't mean to, but I couldn't help it, I just did and I knew that if you knew what I really looked like, you could never love me. I didn't know if I was ever going to be me again or if I could every give Amelia her body back again and decided to try and make a life in this one! Is that so bad? Why am I such a screw-up, why why why why why....." Amelia began hitting herself on the head as the others watched on in horror and sadness, taking in all she had just said. Amelia weeped quietly, hitting her head softly on the wall beside her and murmering. "I'm not good enough for anyone, I'm not. I don't belong anywhere. I just wanted to be happy....why can't I be happy. why can't I be happy, don't i deserve that.....why why why why......*sob*..why...*sob* *sob*....wh-*sobbing*." Amelia had her face covered.

All of them, except for Gourry who was still unconsious on the floor stared at her. Lina slowly made her way over to the rocking girl and knelt beside her. Hesitantly, she wrapped her arms around the girl in a hug. Amelia immediatly grabbed onto Lina's arms holding onto her and crying into her chest.

"i'm sorry....i'm so sorry...."

"Shhhh." Lina soothed the girl, rocking her in her lap, then looked back up at Zelgadis, who could only look down at the floor.

After a few minutes of that, Lina sat up and brushed hair out of Amelia's eyes, wiping her tears and smiling.

"What's all this, now? It's not your fault, it's ok. What's your name?"

Amelia smiled waveringly and then looked up at Lina, then to Zelgadis who was looking at her sadly and then back to the floor. "Anya. My name is Anya."

"I guess I'll rent another room." Lina suggested to Zel who nodded. Amelia looked at him, holding her hands togather. He hadn't cared when she was Amelia. He had always stayed in the same room. 'But, of course, I am NOT Amelia to him anymore. He doesn't love me. He loves Amelia. He could never love me......'

"Anya." Anya snapped her head up to the sound of Lina's voice. "Is that ok with you?"

Amelia/Anya looked at Zelgadis who gave her the 'You'd better do it' look.

Amelia/Anya simply put her head down. Lina sighed and looked at Zel, who didn't realize he was still looking at Amelia/Anya accusingly.

"Zelgadis.....I'm not sure I have enough money to-"

"Then I'll pay." Zelgadis cut in.

Amelia/Anya choked a sob, but wasn't successful. That caught Lina's attention.

"Just a second, Anya." Lina said, pulling Zelgadis a few feet away. Amelia wished not to hear their conversation, but wasn't successfull.

"Zelgadis, she IS your girlfriend-"Lina whispered.

"No, she's not! She's some stranger that took advantage of Amelia and of me!"

"Zelgadis, you know that is not true!"

"I can't love her now. Look at her! She lied, she used me! She never cared about me! And I don't give a damn about her now!!"

Amelia/Anya cried out loudly and stormed out of the inn quickly.

Lina hit Zel with a nearby mug hard enough to make a bump.

"OUCH!"

"Go after her!"

"No!"

"Darkness beyond twilight, crimson beyond blood that flows...." Lina began to chant the dragon slave and imediatly, Zelgadis was out the door.

"Since when did it start raining?" Zelgadis moaned to himself.

A ways in front of him, through the rain, he could see Amelia/Anya struggling to run, but she kept falling.

"Gods, she 's gonna kill herself." He groaned and ran faster towards her.

Amelia/Anya heard his footsteps. 'Oh, gods, why him, why him.....please. help me.....'

Amelia/Anya turned a corner and stumbled again, this time twisting her ankle and bruising her entire body with the twist that nearly broke her leg. She grasped at the ground tryig desperatly to crawl away through the mud and rain, only to be picked up by strong arms and pulled back against his chest.

Zelgadis wrapped his arms tightly around her, holding her arms to her own chest to keep her from getting away. She struggled weakly, pulling with the little strength away from him, trying to escape her pain desperatly.

"No, no. stop. Stop. Just stop, calm down, Ame...Anya, it's ok. Just stop."

Without realizing what he was doing, Zelgadis buried his face into her back, Amelia/Amber sobbing and going limp in his arms. He readjusted and wrapped his arms around her waist, placing his chin against her neck. "Just be still, be calm, ok? Your hurt...." Zel began a recovery spell. Amelia/Amber sobbed heavily and slowly, letting herself and him slid down to sit on the ground. Zelgadis forgot all about his anger and pulled her into his lap, hugging her tightly.

"Please, please, don't cry, Anya, don't cry.."

'He said my name...not Amelia's. Mine.'

Anya turned in his arms as far as she could before it hurt and wrapped her arms around his waist, burying her face in his chest.

"Forgive me. Please, I love you and I never meant to hurt you. I know you don't love me, but please, just try to forgive me. Don't hate me. Please, don't hate me....."

Amelia/Anya sobbed into his chest.

Zelgadis wrapped his arms around her back, holding her head to him with one hand and rocking her softly in the rain, in the mud. "I don't hate you. I don't hate you. I don't." That was all that Zelgadis could say.

Zelgadis came into the tavern, soaked and carrying Amelia/Anya in his arms, she was huddled up and shivering.

"Oh, gods! She looks terrible!" Lina almost screamed and ran to her. She put a hand on her friend's forehead. "She's got a REALLY high temperature. We need to get her upstairs."

"I'll handle it, Lina." Zelgadis looked strait ahead seriously.

"Zel-"

"I said, I'll handle it, LINA." He looked at her, then his look softened and he whispered. "I love her."

LIna smiled and nodded as Zelgadis carried the unconcious, shivering girl in his arms up to his room.

Amelia/Anya woke up to find herself in a bed. There were a few candles lit and it was dark outside. Raining, but not like that night when her and Zelgadis had made love. It was a harsh, cruel rain. A rough, not tender rain. One set out to destroy her. She turned quickly as Zelgadis emerged from the bathroom. He looked at her, and stopped in his tracks, frowning , then continued to walk towards her. He sat beside her on the edge of the bed and placed a cool rag on her forehead. She felt freezing even though her body was covered in covers.

"What's going on?" She asked in an almost wheezing voice.

"Don't talk. Rest." Zelgadis sounded almost harsh to her.

"Why?"

"Because your sick." he said looking at her at obvious annoyance.

"No. Why are you doing this?" She whispered.

Zelgadis stood and made his way back to the bathroom and mumbled quietly. "BecauseIloveyou."

Amelia/Anya smiled and fell back unconsious.

A few hours later, she awoke and found Zelgadis laying beside her, curled up and facing away. She smiled and crawled closer, gently rolling him over onto his back and brushing hair out of his eyes.

'Poor baby...'She thought. 'He's been up almost all night taking care of me. How sweet.'

She leaned down and gently kissed him.

Zelgadis suddenly pushed her away. "Get off me!!!"

She scrurried to the end of the bed, wrapping her hands around the back post. Zegadis woke up fully to realize what he had just done.

Amelia/Anya flinched as he quickly crawled over toward her. "Oh, gods, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was you. I- I'm so sorry." He whispered hugging her and rocking her.

Amelia/Anya closed her eyes and in seconds fell asleep in his arms. He pulled her up with him and buried both of them in the covers, keeping her body warm as he wrapped his arms around her.

'I'm sorry, Anya, but it's gonna take me a while to get used to thinking of you as not being Amelia. It's scary, but I'll do it. I promise.' Zelgadis thought before he slipped off to sleep.

Lina awoke them in the morning. Zelgadis had food brought up to his room for both of them. He fed her and kept her warm, trying to heal the cold. He couldn't use his magick for simple things like this. It was too minor and the magick may have hurt her more than help.

For the next four days, Zelgadis never left her side and never left the room, except to go to the bathroom.

Five days after the incident, Amelia/Anya woke up feeling wonderful. She found Zelgadis still asleep and decided not to wake him up. She quickly got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. She found Lina, Gourry and Xellos there. Lina got up and made sure she was fine to make it to the table. At first, the other three just stared at her.

"Ok you have questions, so just ask them, ok?" Amelia/Anya sighed.

"Where are you from?" Lina asked.

"From MY real world where you are just fictional characters. I know, it's weird, but it's true."

"How old were you?" Gourry munched on his sausage.

"17."

"How could you do that spell to get here?"Lina added.

"Honestly, I don't know. I am a witch, but never thought anything that extreme would work. Guess I was wrong."

"Did you have any friends?"Xellos jumped in.

"Yeah, Jade and Meghan."

"What were they like?" Lina asked, leaning against the table.

"Well, Jade is, well, she is tall and skinny and has long brown hair. She loves anime...you...and is obsessed with Xellos. :). She is 16 and is really cool. Meghan has LOOONG brown hair and is shorter than the rest of us. She is really funny at imitating people. Heehee. Especially Chucky....another fictional character. Meghan is more of the computer junkie like me. We love the internet. Me and Jade used to spend the night at her house and we would act like we were you guys. I would always be Amelia and Jade would always play Xellos. She was good at it too. Always saying things were a secret. And Meghan would play you, Lina. She did a really good job too. She always got the anger thing down. We could cast Fireballs and Ray Wings and stuff. It was great."Amelia/Anya sighed, missing her friends.

"Wow, they sound cool." Gourry said.

"Yeah, and I'd LOVE to meet this...Jade." Xellos smirked.

Zelgadis came down the stairs in a hurry, looking worried.

"What's wrong, Zel?"

"It's Anya, she's missing. I can't find her anywhere. I am so worried and I can't-" He turned the corner and spotted her, sighing in relief. He walked over and sat down in the chair next to her, scooting as close as possible to her as he could. "You scared the crap out of me, Anya. You should have woken me."

"You looked like you needed rest. Besides, I feel fine."

"Are you sure?" Zel put a hand on her forhead as she chewed on a sausage that Lina had offered her.

"Oh, Zel. I'm fine!" She smiled, pulling his hand down and giving him a quick kiss. Zel licked his lips, tasting the sausage.

"Yeah, she's fine!" Lina answered happily.

"So, what do you look like?" Gourry asked, pulling back the previous conversation.

All of them looked at her in curiousity.

"I was hoping you wouldn't ask." She said quietly.

"Why not?" Lina said through her food.

"Because I hate the way I look." she mumbled.

"Well, your going to have to start liking it, because I found a way to separate Amelia and you." Xellos added.

"WHAT?!" The whole group faulted.

"Yes, I can separate your astral being from hers.

"What about me? I don't have a body here." Amelia/Anya asked.

"Ah, that's where I come in..." Xellos grinned.

"WHAT? I am NOT going to be put in YOUR body!"

"Not that that's what I'm going to do, but why not."

"JUST BECAUSE!" Amelia/Anya about gagged at the thought.

"Well, anyhow. I have enough power to create you a new body, so to speak, but it will be an exact copy of your old one. It will carry your essence here, in this world." Xellos chomped on his pancakes again.

"You can do that?" Zelgadis jumped in.

"Yes, Zelgadis-san. I can. And I will. I want my Ame-chan back and you can have Anya with no worries as to Amelia's safety."

"When?" Amelia/Anya asked sadly.

"How about tomorrow?"

"ok." She said even quieter.

Xellos clapped his hands togather. "Well, then, I will go and retrieve the rest of the information I need to do it, and be back in the morning. Good day, all."

Noone said goodbye, but brushed him off, continuing to pay their attentions to Amber.

That night, Amelia/Anya sat on the edge of the bed holding Zelgadis' hand.

"It's gonna be hard to get used to me not being Amelia, huh?"

"Yeah."

"I know that once this is over, you will probably treat me like a stranger and you may never love me again, but I know it will have all be so worth it."

Zelgadis turned to her. "No. I need to stop being afraid of living. I need to learn to love. And I do. I do love you. I swear that no matter how hard it is to get used to you, I will never treat you like a stranger and I will show you how much I care just as I do now. I promise." He whispered the last words and put his forehead on hers, then kissed her forehead softly, gazing into her eyes.

"Anya, what color are your eyes?"

"Blue."

"Good. I like blue."

Amelia/Anya half-sighed half-laughed.

In the morning, Zelgadis held onto her hand tightly as they made their way down the stairs. Xellos wisely suggested that they preform the transfer outside the town. The whole way there, Amelia/Anya was shaking nervously. She couldn't get it out of her head at how dissapointed they were all going to be.

Xellos told her to stand in the middle of the road and she did as he raised his staff toward her and chanted some words. The staff began to glow, first red, then white. Amelia/Anya closed her eyes and the beam suddenly shot out, wrapping her in a ball of light. She gasped painfully, screaming. Lina held Zelgadis back, knowing that this was part of the transference. One blood-curdling scream soon began to split into two. One higher pitched...obviously Amelia's, and the other lower, Anya's. The screams grew into frantic screams for help from Anya as her new body began to form, buring and scortching her.

Zelgadis yelled at Xellos to make it stop, but Lina and Gourry held him tightly.

Soon, the light began to fade and lifted a foot off to the ground. As the light grew dimmer, the group could see two forms outstretched, limbs limply floating abidedly. One was larger than the other, and had long hair. Zelgadis kept his eyes on that one the whole time. Xellos glared at Amelia's limp form in the light.

The ball of light suddenly dissapeared and the two forms fell with a thud to the ground. Amelia sat up, her palms bracing herself on the ground. She was staring at Anya, then noticed Xellos. She scrurried up and ran into his arms, kissing him deeply, then hugging him. Lina and Gourry, in their shock forgot about their arms holding Zelgadis. His eyes were on the huddled form on the ground.

The girl had her body squated in a fetal position and her hands were wrapped around her knees and her palms on her face. She sat still as a rock.

A sob caught the attention of the rest of the group.

Lina spoke up first."Anya?"

Zelgadis fought his way free of his companions arms and scurried falling to the ground over to Anya.

He put a hand on her shoulder and she pulled quickly away."Don't touch me! Don't look at me! Please!" She sobbed, her voice cracking and sounding distorted, ashamed to be back in her body.

This was ridiculous, Zelgadis thought. He scooted closer, squated in close to the ground. He wasn't about to give up the woman he loved because she was ashamed to be her. He wasnt' going to loose her.

Zelgadis wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her up with him. He hovered at least a foot above her. He slid his fingers to grasp her wrists and gently pulled them away from her lowered face. She slowly looked up at him with a worried face.

Zelgadis hesitated only a moment...then never, ever again as he bent down in towards her and pressed his lips lovingly to hers. She sobbed between their kiss. Zelgadis pulled away and wiped her tears, then engulfed her with his arms, hugging her to him. She couldn't believe it, but wrapped her arms around his back, holding him tightly and pressing her face into his chest.

Lina walked up to the couple and wrapped her arms around them, inserting herself into the hug. Anya wrapped one of her arms around Lina and Lina sighed, almost crying herself. Amelia, to everyone's surprise joined in next. She came up behind Anya and hugged her back. Gourry shrugged and went to the other side. Everyone laughed when he joined in.

"What?" He said innocently.

"Now," said Zelgadis, as everyone pulled away. "Let me have a look at you and I'll tell you the truth of what I think." he said.

Zelgadis moved back three feet and rubbed his chin looking her up and down.

Anya was about 5'6 and had long brown hair down to her midback, it was parted to mostly one side, just left of the center crease, which made the part with more hair fall into her face a bit. She wasn't skinny, but to Zel, by no means fat. She had deep, bright baby blue eyes and soft thick pink lips that pouted out a bit. They were complimentary to her features. Her eyes were not big, but medium and she had deep, long brown lashes that fell different ways. Her eyebrows were not curved in an arch, but more of a point on the outter part. It made her look sensual somehow. She had a short nose, not petite, but cute. Her legs were very long and her body short. All in all, Zelgadis was very pleased.

He walked up to her, lifting her face up to his with his hand cupping her chin and smiled at her.

"Your perfect. Can I take you home?"

Anya laughed.

"Ah, she smiles!" Zel grinned.

"Funny."

Zel's eyes shot up.

"What?" Anya asked worried.

"Wow, Anya, your voice!" Lina hummed.

"What? What's wrong with it?"

"Nothing. Nothing! It's...it's so smooth. Like your flowing the words. Amazing, I've never heard anyone that could talk like that. It's gorgeous." Zelgadis was entranced.

"Oh. Thanks...I-....thanks." Anya turned red.

Zelgadis was actually pretty proud to have someone. And very proud to have her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, holding her somewhat possesively to him and turned to the group with his head up high, making Anya laugh at his showing off stature.

The group headed off toward the next town to look for work, Anya and Zelgadis lagging behind to spend some time 'alone'. He had his arm either around her shoulder, her waist or his hand in hers the entire way. Anyafelt so special. They didn't talk much...no need. They understood each other. What one another was thinking.

"Are you hungry?" Zelgadis asked out of the blue.

'Dear gods, he's perceptive.'

"Famished actually." Anya smiled.

"HEY GUYS!" He yelled, making the group stop.

"Let's eat something, ok?"

"Only if you'll hunt it." Lina yelled back as the group waited for the couple.

Zel smiled. "Deal"

"How would you like to learn how to hunt?" Zel smiled down at Anya.

"And learn how to kill? No thanks. I'll eat it, I just won't do the deed of killing it."

Zelgadis laughed and walked off with a bow and arrow.

Anya immediately got up and walked over to where Amelia and Xellos were. They looked up in curiosity.

"Xellos. You have alot of really different power, right?"

"Um....yes." Xellos looked at her in confusion

"Well, um..."Anya twidled her fingers. "I was wondering if you could do me a favor. I am just so miserable about this ONE thing."

Xellos shifted, Amelia moving in his arms as he turned to face Anya. "Oh? And what might that be?"

"My weight."

"You weight?"

"My weight. I feel so horrible. I think I would look alot better and FEEl ALOT better if I weren't so fat and I was wondering if there was any way you knew to make me skinny."

Xellos smiled."See that pond?" he pointed in a certain direction to a pond a ways away.

"Yeah?"

"Run around it till you fall down. That should help." he grinned devilishly.

"Xellos!!" Anya almost hit him.

Amelia laughed. "I know how, Anya. One of my maids had this problem. She lost as much as she wanted in three days. It's a special spell."

Anya turned her attention to Amelia, grabbing her hands and looking at her pleadingly.

"Please, please please. I really and so miserable."

"Of, course I'll help you." Amelia smiled.

About ten minutes later, he came back with a deer over his shoulder. Anya closed her eyes for the next ten minutes as the rest of the group cut it and disposed of the body, burying it. When it was done and looked like something you got out of the grocery store, she opened her eyes and happily ate the foor.

Zelgadis was never more than a foot away when they were eating. In fact, he was pretty much scrunched up next to Anya, as if protecting her. The rest of the group just stared, completely tranced. Zelgadis had NEVER acted this way before. It was odd. But Anya didn't seem to mind the closeness. In fact, she enjoyed it. Someone loving her company so much. At one time, she actually crawled up into his lap.

"Your sure I'm not crushing you?" Anya asked.

Zelgadis laughed. "No. Are you kidding? Your actually light. I AM made of stone you know, so not much is very weighty to me." he emphesized this by wrapping his arms tightly around her and hugging into her back, nuzzling and causing Anya laugh.

"HEY!!!" Amelia yelled out, catching everyone's attention.

"I'm missing twenty gold!!!" She screeched.

"So sorry. I'll pay you back." Anya groaned.

Amelia looked at her, then rolled her eyes. "It's ok. I don't really need it. I got plenty."

Zelgadis looked at her. "I thought you said he charged you a song."

Anya blushed. "Well, I knew you'd be mad. Plus, do you really think I'd sing for some stranger?"

"With a voice that that, I would sing for everyone."

"What do you mean, Zel?" Lina asked through her food chewing.

"Anya, when she was in Amelia's body, she sang gorgeously.

"But, i can't sing worth anything." Amelia protested.

"You don't use the cords like you should." Anya said. "You just need to learn to use them right."

Amelia sighed. "I really don't wanna learn to sing."

"Can you sing in this body?" Zelgadis looked up at Anya, still sitting in his lap.

She blushed. "Yeah, but I-"

"Then, please, do it!" Lina requested. "I wanna hear this voice that made Zel so intrigued. That's very hard you know."

Anya blushed. "I don't know...."

The group bugged her to until she finally gave in.

"Well, I don't wanna sing that song, cause it's just for us. To slow...um, let me think....oh! I know! Ok, it's called "Baby, I love you." It's really good. I love it."

The group got quiet and Anya blushed, then took a deep breathe and began to sing.

The group sat completely entranced with their jaws on the ground.

Lina stood up and shook her head, clapping. "Wow."

"Sit down." Anya laughed.

Lina laughed back and sat down.

Zelgadis hugged her tighter and smiled into her back

"HEY!" Amelia shouted for the second time that afternoon.

"What, Amelia?" Lina asked.

"I was thinkin'. If she can sing like that, then we could make alot of money at the taverns!"

Lina's eyes lit up at the sound of money.

"Your right, Amelia!"

"Well, shouldn't you ask Anya first?" Asked Gourry.

"WELL?" Lina pleaded.

"I guess." Anya smiled.

"MONEY!" Lina yelled making Anya giggle.

The group reached a town the next day. Amelia and Anya immediatly ran off to find an herb shoppe. Amelia was having so much fun. It was a rare day in June, when Lina would shop with her and Anya was more than overly thrilled, just like Amelia, to shop her heart out. They two girls giggled, taking their time to occationally stop and try on clothes or jewelry in the market. Anya could't believe Amelia was so cool. She was becoming like a sister.

The two girls found the ingredients they needed off of Amelia's list and bought them.

*Aloe Vera (Skin of course! We have to look beautiful!)

*bulb of Beebalms

*Baldcypress powder

*Weeping willow leaves-dried

*dried tea leaves.

Amelia bought certain amount of each, according to the origional items amout. The two girls, after about my an hour and a half of messing around came back to the inn that Lina had decided to stay inn. She was already at it.

"Sir! Sir! We have an offer to make! You seem to have a dull joint here. I know how to get you ALOT of service!" Lina offered.

"And how might that be, girl?" The owner asked.

Lina pushed Anya up toward the front. "Let her sing!"

"Um....no thanks folks."

"Wait! You haven't heard her sing yet."

"I don't need to. I get enough customers to keep up a good living."

"Yeah" Lina protested. "But, you could fill this place to the brim...I promise! No, I bet you! I bet you a hundred gold she will fill the place!"

"A hundred gold, eh? I could use the extra." he sratched his chin, then threw a towel over his shoulder. "You got yourself a deal, kid."

Lina grinned from ear to ear.

Amelia rolled her eyes and pulled Anya up to her room to fix the formula.

Anya sat on the edge of the bed as Amelia mixed in the ingredience, only a third of them, into a cup with hot water and stirred.

"Ok, this may not taste very good, but it works." Amelia smiled, handing Anya the cup.

Anya cringed at the taste.

Anya grinned excitedly and laughed up to Amelia. "Oh, man, this tastes like VODKA! HAhahhha, cool!"

"Huh?" Amelia almost laughed at the freaky smiling girl.

"Ok, anyways," Amelia began, " you also need to eat less and eat healthy. I suggest the vegitary stuff of not-so-fatty stuff."

"Oh, that I can do. I know alot of stuff that is good for you that tastes great."

"Great!" Amelia clapped her hands togather. "Ok, well just come back here tomorrow and the next day at the same time and I will fix you the rest."

"Amelia?"

"Hmm?"

"How does it work?"

Amelia sat down on the bed beside Anya as she drank the tea (vodka heehee).

"Well," Amelia sighed." You seee I learned it from a neighbor a long time ago. It was used in a village where everyone was large and noone was happy. I don't know how or why. Anyhow, I think she said that it traps all the fat and the fat you already have and dissolves it into useful protiens."

"OH! So that's what exersize in a bottle has in it. hahahhhaa. Those freaks are sellin Vodka! ahahhhahaha."

"Huh?" Amelia looked at the laughing Anya, confused.

"Oh, these people in my world make this stuff called exersize in a bottle and they say it traps stuff and is safe.....hahaha, but they used vodka! ahhahaahha" Anya laughed, drinking more of her (vodka) tea.

"Anya?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you want to know the reason I am being so close with you. I mean, not that I wouldn't want to be anyways, but there is an ulterier motive to it."

Amber looked up. "Oh?"

'Yes, you see, what I didn't tell anyone is that when you were in me, I was in your mind."

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah. And while I was in there, the scene was changing, but everynight and sometimes in the day, it was always on a scene of a hillside at night, under a clear sky with a thousand stars shining brightly..."

This caught Anya's attention.

"And there was this tree, an Elm I think, on top of the hill and the whole scene looked like a painting that you could walk around in. And anyways, when I walked up the hill...I saw you. "

"You saw me?"

"Yes, you and a grey and white cat sitting in your lap and a black raven that was sitting on you arm as you held it out to you. They were talking to you. I could hear them. Their mouths weren't moving, but I could hear them."

"You saw my witches sanctuary. It is my special place that I go. The cat is my familiar and the Raven is my animal guide. They tell me what is happening in my astral world and they consult with me about my life."

"I met them, and you. You talked to me and so did they. They told me what was happening and that it was not purposly. I spent most of my time in there talking to them and you." Amelia said hoping that Anya would not mind.

Anya smiled. "At least they had company for once. They are always wanting me to bring someone in to talk, but I could never do it before....so you know my secrets."

"Yes, but I won't tell any of them. They are nothing bad....though that trip to...Corpus I think, was a little bit of a thing to think about. Haha." Amelia and Anya laughed.

Anya's knees were shaking. There were not that many people in the place and she had to fill it? She couldn't do that! She wasn't THAT good....was she?

She walked out on the stage to the microphone.

"Ahem" The audience of about seven people, not including her friends in the back, all stared at her in curiosity.

"Hello." She said. "My name is Anya and I- I uh, I'm gonna be singing for you. Um...is there-is there any requests?"

Nothing.

"Um, ok. Well uh-"

A hand in the back shot up. Oh, crap. Xellos.

"Um....yes?"

"I have a request" he said from the back of the room.

"Um, ok."

"Do you know.......Sweethearts?"

"No, no, I don't....ah! But I do know '"Blame it on the rain.'" Anya grinned and ran to the person playing the music giving him a tune to play. He nodded and began with a beat.

Anya took her place and knew the perfect moves for this song, seeing the video a hundred times.

By now, Anya had the entire tavern watching her, entertained to the extreme, and many more people were coming in to check out the voice.

Anya stood up and started to clap with the mic near her mouth, dancing a bit. She started to get the audience into the song, encouraging them to sing the chorus. Once she was singing, she was not nervous at all.

Anya smiled, seeing almost half the tavern full. People were seated and standing, some moving to the music. Zelgadis just smiled lovingly up at her.

Almost the entire tavern was full and people were outside looking in to see what all the comotion was. People were hushing the talking ones to hear her.

Anya walked down the stairs on the side of the stage to the beat of the music, and out into the now very large audience. She dance around, getting some people involved. Zel stood when she came over to him and turned, letting him wrap his arms around her waist as she swayed, singing.

Anya walked back up onto the stage and sang and danced.

The music paused with only drum beat and Amber started to clap, bringing the audience into it, until everyone was clapping and trying to sing along.

By the end of the song, the entire tavern was full with gawking customers staring at her as she struck a pose. Her pose' was the first to start applauding and soon the entire tavern was clapping and whistling. Anya smiled, bowed and jumped down into Zel's arms, who kissed her deeply and hugged her for her great performance. He lifted her up, spinning her around and laughing.

The tavern harper groaned and handed over one hundred gold to the red-headed sorceress who grinned from ear to ear.

"At least I made enough profit to last me along time." he smiled at Anya.

"Sure you won't stay. I could pay you well." Anya wrapped her arm around Zel.

"Nah, but thanks. I got a place to be." She smiled up and Zelgadis who kissed her forehead.

That night, they slept in the forest. Amelia shared a tent with Xellos, though everyone could hear them "not sleeping". Lina and Gourry ended up taking a tent togather, but slept FAR apart, much to Anya's agrivation. When were those two going to get together???

Anya and Zelgadis took the last tent. Zel slept in his tan pants and Anya decided on just her shirt and underwear, which made Zel happy, since he was allowed more access to her body.

They slept most the time, the rest kissing, petting or humming sweet things to each other.

Zel captured her around the waist, pulling her toward him and wrapped his arms around her back, pressing his body to hers.

Anya trilled (or purred) in pleasure, the soft humming vibrating the stones all over Zel. He liked where this was headed. And obviously so did she. She nuzzeled her head into his chest.

"Those two really need to get their act togather." Anya whispered as she huddled next to Zelgadis.

"Who?" he mumbled half-asleep.

"Lina and Gourry. Where I come from, everyone knows they're meant to be. They are just too scared to try it."

"Oh, really?"

Anya could tell he was not paying her much attention, and rolled her eyes, laughing a bit.

Anya slipped carefully out of Zel's arms and walked over to Lina and Gourry's tent. She slipped inside and knelt down next to Lina.

"Lina, lina..."she whispered, shaking her.

Lina rolled over and opened her eyes. She noticed someone hovering above her and was about to yell to whoever it was, but a hand clamped over her mouth, and a finger went to the other persons lips.

"Shh, Lina, be quiet. I need to talk to you."The person whispered.

"Anya?" Lina whispered back.

"Yes, come on." she waved a finger for her to follow.

Lina stood quietly and followed Anya into the woods a bit.

When they were out of range, the two talked in normal voices.

"What is it, Anya? I was asleep."

"You and Gourry." Anya put her hands on her hips.

"What about me and Gourry?"

"You two need to stop being to stupid around each other."

"Oh, no!" Lina waved her hands in front of her. "Your not going to start with that love thing again.

Anya grabbed Lina's arm as she was about to walk away. She looked back at Anya and the look in her eyes made Lina resign and sit down.

"Ok. So, yeah, what if I do love him. What am I supposed to do about it?"

"Just go back there, wake him up and tell him."

"WhAT?!" Lina fautled, almost falling backwards.

"Ok, here's an idea. I know it's far out, but it would definately be worth it. Ok, here's what you do."

Anya whispered into Lina's ear and Lina's eyes went wide.

"DO WHAT?!?!?!!!?!?" Lina freaked out. "That is beyond gross, that's that's--"

Anya smiled at her loss of words. "Just do exactly what I told you, and he will never leave your side....he's come running even!"

Lina huffed and walked back to her tent.

Lina used a levitation spell to lift the tent and move it further away from the others, but not too far away.

Lina crawled inside quickly, shaking Gourry awake.
"Gourry! Gourry! Wake up. This is important."
"Huh? Lina, what is it?"
"Gourry...um...I- uh..."
"What is it, Lina?"
"Do you love me?"
"What?!" Gourry sat up staring at her.
Please, Gourry, I have to know......I love you. Do you love me? Gods, that sounded stupid." she laughed at herself.
Gourry lifted her chin and smiled at her.
Gourry stared at her softly. "Yes."

"Please tell me, Gourry." she pleaded softly.

"I love you, Lina."

"I love you , too, Gourry."

The two stared at each other for a moment, then slowly each leaned in and met in a kiss. It was soft and slow.
