The Outlanders OVA (Original Video Animation) is a super condensed version of Johji Manabe's original Manga, with character designs by Hiroshi Hamazaki. It has been dubbed and released in North America by Dark Image Entertainment. This video is about 50 minutes long, and it was my first introduction to Manabe's work! It's what got me seriously into him.

The story is an abridged version of Kahm meeting Tetsuya, and her father's rejection of their engagement. In the end Geobaldi whips Progresso's ass and Kahm and Tetsuya run off to live happily ever after. They also attempt to have sex several times during the video. Most people don't like this OVA. Definitely only for the most hardcore Manabe fans!
