History Timeline

This page will help you lots if you can't keep track of all the numbers, years, and ages of the Ishida family and more. This will be based mostly on Yamato, tho. I'll do my best to give you the information and explanations, beginning with the year 1988 through 2027. It's pretty general, so it'll be easier to remember. I'm not the best info-giver, but here it is!

Warning: * are just presumptions, so don't rely on it completely. (Yeah yeah, I suck. Get over it. ^_^)

Note: I will call everyone/everything by their Japanese names since all the information here was from the original, not the dub. I will only call them by their dubbed names when I talk about them from an English episode I have seen. Thank you for your cooporation.

1988	Yamato Ishida is born.
1991	Takeru Ishida is born.
1995	Terrorist Bombing Note: At this point, Yamato is seven (7) and Takeru is four (4). Why that age: At age eleven (11) Matt said that "Four years ago" when he was seven (7) that TK started seeing monsters, which led to the so-called terrorist bombing which was actually the fight of Greymon and Parrotmon.- Explained in the episode "Return to Highton View Terrace"
	Ishida Family moves across the bay to a city called Kawada. Note: Actual city name is unknown, but that was the name of Takeru's elementary school, so I'm just presuming.
	Divorce * Yamato and his father move away to Odaiba. Problems which led to divorce is unknown. Why 'Who moved away and who stayed' is known: Matt and Mr. Ishida move to Odaiba while TK and Nancy stay in Kawada. You could tell in the flashback; Mr. Ishida had a bag packed while Nancy wore an apron, which presumes that Mr. Ishida and Matt moved away and that Nancy and TK stayed.- Source/Bits of info from the episode "Battle for the Earth" See picture Due to the divorce, Natsuko (Nancy) took back her maiden name 'Takaishi' as her surname. So did Takeru. Yamato is seven (7) and Takeru is four (4) when their parents divorce.
Summer of 1999	The Digital World Yamato (age 11) and Takeru (8) get sucked up to the Digital World during summer camp. Other kids sucked up to the Digital World are Taichi Yagami (age 11), Sora Takenouchi (11), Koushiro Izumi (10), Mimi Tachikawa (10), and Jyou Kido (12). They become the Chosen Children (DigiDestined, Selected Kids, whatever.) As you already know, they have many adventures, trials and tribulations, and triumphs. ^_^ And also note: Time is faster in the Digital World, so months could equal one day in the real world (Earth) or something like that. They travel to and from the Digital World many times. Their last battle was with Apocolypmon (sp? lol). When he was defeated, the kids had two weeks of summer vacation left. So I'm assuming all their adventures took about three months. Wow.
Six months after	Battle on the Internet with Diaboromon Everyone is only six months older. (Duh.) Yamato and Takeru are visiting their grandmother in the country for vacation. I'm assuming it's their winter break. So you've seen the movie; Taichi, Koushiro, Yamato, and Takeru are involved in the fight with Diaboromon, a 'computer virus digimon' on the Internet. They've got to destroy him to save the world, of course. Taichi and Yamato go digital (going into the Internet), WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon digivolve together to become Omnimon and destroy the evil, bad digi, and the world is at ease. Yay! (Pardon my explanation. sweatdrop)
2002	The New Chosen Children Another thing everybody knows; There is a new batch of Chosen Children! They are Daisuke Motomiya (age 11), the somewhat 'mini-Taichi', Miyako Inoue (12), the loud one and boy crazy, and Iori Hida (9), the youngest but most mature. Takeru, now eleven (11) and Hikari Yagami (11), Taichi's little sister, are also joining the ride as Chosen Children. They have many adventures also. Wow. The older kids are now known as retired chosen children, but they are still able to help whenever they can. Yamato, now fourteen (14) and in the eighth grade has his own band with three friends called the Teenage Wolves. Taichi (14) is still an avid soccer player, Sora (14) a florist and a tennis player, Koushiro (13) still into computers, Mimi (13) has moved to New York, and Jyou (15) is still studying to become a doctor.
	Moving to Odaiba Takeru and his mom has moved to Odaiba, closer to Yamato and Mr. Ishida.
	Ken Ichijouji is found out as the Digimon Kaiser some time after. He later turns good and joins the group. Yay!
	Sora shows interest The beginnings of Sora and Yamato's relationship start during Christmas.
	World Travels The Chosen Children, old and new, travel the world to destroy and dark towers and return stray Digimon to the Digital World.
	Evil Defeated The Chosen Children all over the world defeat Malomyotismon (dubbed name). Sadly, Yukio Oikawa, the thought-to-be-villian-but-was-really-good, dies but he will forever watch over the Digital World.
2020	It's a girl! Yamato and Sora's first child is born. Her name is unknown. Mari-San will call her Kaitlin for the meantime. ^_^ Kaitlin looks like Yamato, with the same eye color and hair color. Yamato and Sora are both thrity-two (32) years of age. (That's because 2020 minus 1988 equals 32.) Why was she born this year: Look at my hypothesis here.
2023	It's a boy! Yamato and Sora have their second child! His name is, too, unkown. I will call him Ray-Ray. Ray-Ray looks like Sora with the same eyes and hair color. The parents are now thirty-five (35). Why he was born this year: Hypothesis
2027	Happy Reunion The whole gang and their kids have a reunion in the Digital World. After the battle with Malomyotismon, all the people on Earth have their own Digimon and access to the Digital World.

* I wrote that Yamato was seven and not eight when his parents were divorced. 99.9% of people, Yamato-fanatics, stalkers, would testify that he was eight when they did. I'm just presuming that the parents divorced the same year as the 'terrorist bombing.' That's where seven comes from. But if they divorced a year later, THEN it would be eight.

The only way Yama would be eight when the divorce occurred is if somewhere in the entire 01 season it was said that the parents divorced '3 years ago.' I have not seen this yet. When it does, I'll let you know. ^_~

But just looking at mine and copying it without having a single clue is just plain wrong. And if your excuse is that it will flatter me, think again.
