Fanfiction is a very popular concept these days, and almost every Sailormoon site you visit, you're most likely going to find just that: fanfiction.
While quite alot of them are wonderful,as with everything, there is also the bad. If you are considering writing a Sailormoon fanfiction,I give you the following advice to ensure that yours will be of the better ones.
1. Grammar & spelling.
Most fanfiction authors do not realize the great importance of this rule. Not only does correct spelling and grammar make the story more enjoyable, but it also gives you more credibility.
2. Be original.
Again, another extremely important rule. I for one, enjoy reading unique fanfiction rather than,tired,overused-ideas fanfiction. There is no need to follow the crowd, just use *your* ideas. You'll be glad you did.
3. Stay true to the personality of the character.
For example, don't have Haruka suddenly become ditzy and cheerful. That's just not Haruka. The same goes for all other characters.
4.Beware of new characters.
I'm not saying that you can't create your own characters, just take caution.
For instance, don't have a senshi as an exchange student from America. That's a very tired idea. Also, don't create your characters perfect. It is simply imperative that they have flaws.
I hope this guide has been of some use to you. Good luck!
