Yu-Gi-Oh! is about a 10th Grader named Yugi Mutou and his friends Jyonouchi (Joey), Anzu (Tea), and Honda (Tristan). When Yugi solves the Millennium Puzzle, his life changes and he gains the powers of the Shadow Games and becomes his alter ego, Yami Yugi, which is the soul of the ancient Pharaoh from 3000 years ago. Together, Yami and Yugi battle against the forces of evil by playing the most popular card game in the world: Duel Monsters!
