What is the purpose of this site u ask. Well one evening ofter a visit from a friend i was devastated to find the mother of all scratches on the back on one of my DVD's. Who how and why didnt really matter i just wanted to find a way of backing up my DVD's should it ever happen again. I can guarentee that i am not the only person who has bought a DVD and had it rendered useless in one way or another.

Well for any other sufferers out there are multiple ways of backing up DVD's but for now i am only going to cover one of them DVD 2 Divx. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD ONLY DO THIS WITH DVD'S THAT YOU YOURSELF OWN.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Pentium III 450Mhz or AMD equivalent preferbly 650mhz+

128MB Ram preferbly 256MB+

16MB Graphics Card preferbly 32MB+

5GB Free Hard Disk space preferbly 6GB+

Sound Blaster sound card or equivalent E.G Sound Blaster Live

DVD ROM Drive the faster the better
