How they went SSJ

This list does not include ANY, I repeat, ANY of the DB/DBZ movies. This covers only the television series in its entirety. Enjoy! Any questions, e-mail me (Schlomo) at : schlomo011@home.com Son Gokuu 1st form Super Saiya-jin : Kurillin's death at the hands of Freezer infuriated Son Gokuu to the point he couldn't contain his anger and exploded in a fit of rage with newly discovered power. Ultra Super Saiya-jin : While training in the Room of Spirit and Time with his son, Son Gohan, Son Gokuu realized that he gained the ability to transform into a new form of Super Saiya-jin. However, upon the transformation, he realized the newfound weaknesses of this state. Too bad he wasn't able to tell Trunks before he got his ass kicked by Cell.... 2nd form Super Saiya-jin : After Cell's death, Son Gokuu spent his time in Heaven training himself to become stronger. He achieved this form after a sufficient amount of training on King Kai's planet. 3rd form Super Saiya-jin : Same as above, he unveiled this new state during the fight with Majin Buu. He was allowed 24 hours to return to Earth and battle Buu, but this form drains you of your energy very quickly, and Son Gokuu was not able to continue battling Buu at the rate he was. After he fell out of this state, he was forced to fuse with Vegita using the Potarra Earrings to become Vegetto. Golden Oozaru : Son Gokuu had had his tail recently pulled out from his body, giving him another tail to replace his old one that was surgically removed. This, of course, allowed him to transform into his Oozaru form, or the Weremonkey form. While battling Bebi Vegeta on Planet Plant, Goku looked down towards the Earth. The sun's light was reflecting off of the Earth, thereby giving it the appearance of a moon. In typical Saiya-jin style, Gokuu transformed into his Oozaru form. However, because it was the Earth, the planet Gokuu was sworn to protect, his power triggered a reaction that turned him into the giant golden-haired monkey known as Golden Oozaru Son Gokuu. 4th form Super Saiya-jin : While fighting as Golden Oozaru Son Gokuu (we'll just call him Son Gokuu), Son Gokuu had beaten Bebi Vegita, who was also in Golden Oozaru form, down into a pulp. However, the battle wasn't over. Son Gokuu began to rage all around the Planet Plant, destroying everything in his wake. Nearly destroying friends and family, whatever got in his way. However, Bebi Vegeta sneaks up behind him and knocks him to the ground, causing Son Gokuu to cry out in pain. While he is lying on the ground, Son Gokuu looks over at Pan. She's crying and calling out to Son Gokuu to end his rampage and defeat Bebi Vegita. Seeing Pan cry triggered an impulse in Son Gokuu, and he transformed into a more powerful state, which has come to be known as Super Saiya-jin 4 or Super Gokuu 4. SON GOHAN 1st form Super Saiya-jin : While training with his father inside of the Room of Spirit and Time in preparation for the Cell Games, Son Gohan began to think about all of the people in the past who have threatened him, his family, or his close friends. These thoughts angered Son Gohan to the point where he fully releases his power and achieves the state of Super Saiya-jin 1. He was given a haircut shortly thereafter.... Ultra Super Saiya-jin : Son Gohan was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 2nd form Super Saiya-jin : After Son Gokuu forfeited his bout with Cell, he volunteered his son, Son Gohan, to fight next against Cell. After thoroughly getting his ass whupped, Son Gohan gives up all hope, throwing his arms down and awaiting his forthcoming destruction. However, Android 16 interferes in the bout, latching on to Cell in the hopes of self-destructing himself and taking Cell with him. Unknowingly, Bulma and Dr. Briefs removed the self-destruct mechanism. So... Android 16's plan failed. Cell quickly realizes this and destroys Android 16's body. 16's head flies off and lands near Mr. Satan and his "posse." 16 asks Mr. Satan to throw him near the battlefield. Mr. Satan complies, throwing him onto the battlefield, but he throws him closer to Cell than Son Gohan. 16 speaks to Son Gohan, telling him to unleash his fury that's hidden inside of him. Cell promptly walks over and steps on 16's head, destroying it. Son Gohan, seeing his destruction, explodes in a fit of anger, reaching his new state of power, Super Saiya-jin 2. 3rd form Super Saiya-jin : Son Gohan was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. Golden Oozaru : Son Gohan was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 4th form Super Saiya-jin : Son Gohan was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. VEGITA 1st form Super Saiya-jin : While training in outer space before the arrival of the Androids, Vegita was overwhelmed and crash landed on a meteroid. He climbed back up from where he landed and finally said that he didn't care anymore. He didn't care if he was stronger than Kakarot or not... Ain't it a damn coincidence that those very words and that very rage made him stronger than Son Gokuu? As a result of this unleashing of rage, he finally achieved the transformation to Super Saiya-jin. Ultra Super Saiya-jin : While training in the Room of Spirit and Time with his son, Trunks, Vegita reached this level. He told no one, wanting to surprise them with his sudden increase in power. And he also did not want Son Gokuu to know that he had finally surpassed him, at least for now. Vegita, being his cocky self, decided that he was strong enough to take on Cell all by his self. Vegita powered up to the brink of Ultra Super Saiya-jin, but he did not fully power up to the level, retaining his speed and gaining most of the strength that comes with USSJ. After beating around Cell for a while, Vegita allows Cell to attain his Perfect form. Tsk tsk... He would pay for it. 2nd form Super Saiya-jin : After being possessed by Babidi, Vegita, now Majin Vegita, finally gained the power needed to achieve this state of transformation. He whipped Son Gokuu's ass in this form, at one point trapping him against a wall and slapping him twice. Ain't nothing that a good bitch slap won't solve... 3rd form Super Saiya-jin : Vegita was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. Golden Oozaru : Vegita was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 4th form Super Saiya-jin : Vegita cheated on gaining this one, you could say... With help of his spouse, Bulma, Vegita (Bebi Vegita at the time) was able to achieve this state of transformation with the use of a invention called the Brute Ray. This invention regrew Vegita's tail and allowed him to skip the Golden Oozaru stage and go straight to becoming Super Vegita 4. TRUNKS 1st form Super Saiya-jin : (Teenager Trunks) In the alternate timeline, Trunks and Son Gohan were the only remaining Z Warriors. In one of their many battles with Androids 17 and 18, Trunks was ordered to run away because he would not be able to help defeat the Androids in any way. This battle would be Son Gohan's last, as he was defeated and killed. Trunks, upon returning to the battlefield, found the body and unleashed his rage in a fit of power and anger. Trunks had then achieved Super Saiya-jin 1. (Chibi Trunks) While training at seven years old, Trunks reached this level. He was not extraordinarily angry or infuriated. He had just trained a certain amount and was able to reach this level with ease. Ultra Super Saiya-jin : (Teenage Trunks) While training in the Room of Spirit and Time with his father, Vegita, Trunks secretly gained the ability to transform to this state. However, he did not want his father to know that, for it would hurt his pride. Not to mention the fact that Trunks was stronger than Vegita... Trunks first used this form as he battled Perfect Cell. They were almost equal ; however, Cell was just too damn fast for Trunks and defeated him as Trunks realized his weaknesses and pitied himself for not realizing them earlier. This is a lesson to everyone... Never show weakness. (Chibi Trunks) Chibi Trunks was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 2nd form Super Saiya-jin : Neither Trunks was known to reach this level during the course of the series. 3rd form Super Saiya-jin : Neither Trunks was known to reach this level during the course of the series. Golden Oozaru : Neither Trunks was known to reach this level during the course of the series. 4th form Super Saiya-jin : Neither Trunks was known to reach this level during the course of the series. SON GOTEN 1st form Super Saiya-jin : Exactly the same as Chibi Trunks. While training one day, he suddenly transformed into Super Saiya-jin 1. No anger involved. Just serious training. Ultra Super Saiya-jin : Son Goten was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 2nd form Super Saiya-jin : Son Goten was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 3rd form Super Saiya-jin : Son Goten was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. Golden Oozaru : Son Goten was never known to reach this level during the course of the series. 4th form Super Saiya-jin : Son Goten was never known to reach this level during the course of the series.
