Rescue Luke's Story *Luke's Story on Alpenhorn - click here* Luke came to us 3 yrs ago on July 7th 2007 and weighed just 61 lbs when we got him. The surgeon who did the ACL operation said he should stay between 95 & 100 lbs. They estimated he could have been on the streets for as long as 2 years. These are the pictures of Luke we took the day we picked him up at the shelter. Look especially at the right ear and right side. 
There's a special place in hell for the person who did this to him. At least his past 3 years have been good for him. Hopefully we'll have him for many more!
