Cody July 13th 1999 to April 22nd 2010 Linda's beloved Toy Poodle 
Cody went blind from SARDS on Good Friday in 2007 and at the time they could find nothing else wrong with him. Then in 2008 his thyroid values was off a little so they started him on a very small dose of medicine for that. In April of 2009 they said he had a grade 3 heart murmur and they started him on medicine for that and in October his kidneys values was up and we started on the kidney diet. On Good Friday 2010 he got very sick and we thought it was from the food but it was his kidneys failing. He spent 3 days in the hospital at MedVet here in Columbus, Ohio and they sent him home on the 17th of April I lost him on April 22nd. All these things are very common in SARD Dogs. I knew I would lose Cody and I thought I was prepared for it but I wasn't. This hurts so bad. I got his ashes back yesterday and I do feel some comfort with them being with me. The pic above is of him doing what he loved to do...................play in the snow!
