Daisuke may not be the smartest person on earth, but his instincts and nonchalant attitude more than make up for what he lacks in the brain area. Daisuke is the unofficial leader of the 02 digidestined. He’s spunky and energetic. He’s always ready to put up a fight, and usually puts up a good one. Daisuke has a massive crush on Hikari, which causes him some problems with Takeru, who he deems ‘getting in his way.’ He also idolizes Taichi, Hikari’s older brother. After taking a major part in defeating The Digimon Kaiser, Davis befriends the estranged Ken and becomes his jogress partner, making him like a real member of the digidestined group. After having access to Paildramon, and through that ImperialDramon, Daisuke went on to help take major parts in destroying the enemies of the digidestined. He is the most confident and has the strongest mind of all the digidestined, as proved by the fact that he wasn’t affected by MaloMyotismon’s illusion attack. Daisuke is the main power of the group and he adds flavor to the show that makes it a lot more entertaining.
