Goku
The main character of Dragonball, and a substantial role in DBZ, Goku is a friendly boy who fights on the side of good. He is not too intelligent, but a natural when it comes to the martial arts and controlling his Ki. By far, Goku has the most abilities of any of the Z-fighters and is the most powerful , He marries later marries Chi-Chi in Dragonball, and together they have two sons, Gohan and Goten.
Krillin
Krillin is the most powerful human on Earth. He was once Goku's rival in dragonball, but they later became best friends. A monk, he chooses to shave his head but later in the series Android 18 tells him to grow some hair. Krillin is willing to give it his all to save the Earth and Almost gets killed trying to.
Tien
Tien is Chaozu's bodyguard. His powers revolve around multiplying various body parts. Tenshinhan is the developer of cool techniques such as the Taiyoken and Kikoho. The "three-eyed man", even though he makes few appearances later on he still is a formidable fighter and aids gohan when trying to kill cell.
Yamcha
First Introduced as A desert Bandit in dragonball after he learns about the dragonballs he tags along with goku and bulma so he can make a wish that he wouldnt get nervous around girls but then he gets used to bulma and doesnt get nervous around girls anymore.Bulma and him spend half of DragonBallZ together But then they break up and Bulma ends up marrying vegeta.After the encounter with the saiyins he doesnt train as much as he used to.
Vegita
Born on the planet Vegita, Vegita Becomes 1 of the most powerful saiyins become .He is one of the greatest fighters in the universe. Along with Goku, Radditz, and Nappa, Vegita is one of the only Sayins to survive the destruction of his Planet Vegeta. He is jealous of Goku's superior fighting ability, and helps him from time to time so that he still has someone to compete with.
Pan
Pan, is Goku's granddaughter. She is the most powerful female in all of Dragonball gt. Pan is a fourth of a Saiyajin, and she is Gohan and Videl's daughter. Pan is very adventurous and Ussually gets in trouble with Chibi Goku and Trunks.
Gohan
Goku's First Son , He is trained Under Piccolo after Piccolo Kills Goku and Radditz. He looks up to Piccolo for being such a great fighter, and trys to immitate him by wearing The Same looking clothes. He has the strength to become the most powerful being in the universe, yet since he cannot always fully Control his strength, he can easily be defeated. Gohan is the first Saiyan to go SSJ2, when cell totures him by using his mini cells to wreck havoc on the Z-fighters and Kills android 16.After the Cell saga he spends he follows his mthers wishes to become a scholar
Dende
Dende was rescued by Kuririn and Gohan from almost being killed by dodria (Although he later does get killed by freeza). After Kami merges with Piccolo, Dende assumes Guardian of the Earth, and creates his own set of Dragonballs Which Mr.popo helped by Buildin the model. Unlike Piccolo and the other warrior Nameks, Dende is a healer and heals Krillin ,Gohan , and Vegeta After Freeza sees what he can do he finishes Dende off.
Chaozu
Small and pale, he and Tien are best friends. Although he puts up a good fight in the original Dragonball series, But in Dragonball Z his powerlevel does not grow and becomes one of the weakest Z-Fighters.
Chi-Chi
Chi-Chi is mother of Gohan and Goten and the Wife of Goku. She Wants Gohan to study and forces him to do his homework untill he is done with all of it.She mainly spends Most her time worrying about Gohan's school work.
