12 Eyes (Aka Shishin no Ken): A technique used by Tenshinhan to split himself into four different parts. Each Tenshinhan are not just images, and can fight and be attacked. The only downside is that each Tenshinhan has only a quarter of the power and speed of the original.
Who uses this technique: Tenshinhan, Cell

Akumaitokosen: This is a special energy wave designed for a quick kill of an opponent. When the wave hits, the evil in the opponen't heart expands, causing it to explode. However, if there is no evil in the opponents heart, this technique will have no effect.
Who uses this technique: Akkuman

Bakuhatsuha: By raising two fingers, the attacker can create a large explosion that will totally destroy the area around an opponent.
Who uses this technique: Nappa, Vegeta

Bakurikimaha: Piccolo Daimao's ultimate attack. A blast shot from one hand, with the other hand gripping the shooting hand's wrist.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo Daimao

Barrier: This defensive technique creates a shield around the user which protects him/her from most attacks. There are two forms, a sphere, and one that tailors its shape to the user's body.
Who uses this technique: Freezer, Artificial Human #17, Cell, Vegitt

Big Bang Attack: A technique Vegeta developed as a Super Saiyan, it is a huge bolt of massive destructive power. One hand is held out that launches the bolt.

Blue's Psychic Ability: The Blue Shogun of the Red Ribbon Army can paralyze an enemy with psychic abilities generated from his eyes. He can also move inaminate objects with this technique ( To a certain extent ).
Who uses this technique: Blue Shogun

Body Change: This technique is used by the leader of the Ginyu Force, Captain Ginyu. He spreads all his limbs out, shouts "Change!", and shoots a bolt of energy. Whoever this bolt hits he changes bodies with. He will have the power and speed of the person he has switched with, but not their special techniques.
Who uses this technique: Captain Ginyu

Bukujutsu: This is not a fighting technique. This is the technique used when flying. It seems important enough to mention; virtually everyone uses it.
Who can use: All fighters in DBZ execpt for Yajirobe and Mr. Satan

Burning Attack: Future Trunk's trademark attack. First he does some strange arm movements, puts both hands forward, touches index fingers and thumbs, and releases the blast.
Who uses this technique: Future Trunks

Chaozu's Chonoryoku: With this technique, Chaozu, using one or two hands, can manipulate and cause internal pain to an opponent ( provided that the oppenent is not too strong ).
Who uses this technique: Chaozu

Chobakuretsumaha: This is Piccolo's ultimate blast. He powers it up by putting both palms of his hands in front of his chest, then releases. Very, very powerful. (Note: Piccolo Daimao and Piccolo are different )
Who uses this technique: Piccolo

Crasher Ball: Like the Genki-dama that Goku gave to Krillin, it is an energy ball produced from the palm of the hand.
Who uses thie technique: Jeice

Daichiretsuzan: A very powerful attack used Freezer. While swiping his hand with two fingers extended, it sends an invisible cutting beam that will travel a long way.
Who uses this technique: Freezer

Death Ball: This is a ball of energy Freezer creates with either the tip of his finger or both hands. It is very powerful; it can even destroy planets.
Who uses this technique: Freezer

Dodonpa: A major technique of the Tsurusen-ryu, it is a blast that is shot from one finger, and explodes upon impact. The most basic Dodonpa is more powerful than the most basic Kamehameha, but the Kamehameha can become much more powerful. When Taopaipai was defeated by Goku, he develops this technique into the Super Dodonpa.
Who uses this technique: Taopaipai, Tsurusennin, Chaozu, Tenshinhan

Double Tsuihikidan: Krillin developed this move in preparation for the 23rd Tenkaichi-Budokai. He shoots a blast ( like a Kamehameha ) from each hand, then can guide the blasts.
Who uses this technique: Krillin

Dynamite Kick: This is Mr. Satan's trademark attack. It is a charging kick, but being one of Mr. Satan's attacks, it is pretty much useless. Gotenks once used this move, and it proved equally useless for him.
Who uses this technique: Mister Satan, Gotenks

Enemy Morph ( I improvised, I don't know the real name ): Majin-Buu shoots an energy field from his head, he can morph his enemy into another object, most usually candy or some sort of food. This is Buu's most common attack.
Who uses this technique: Majin-Buu

Energy Kyushu: This is Artificial Human #19 and #20's trademark technique. They can absorb energy, from either ki blasts or people's bodies, through holes in the palms of their hands. They need their hands for this technique, however.
Who uses this technique: Artificial Human #19 and #20

Eraser Cannon: One of Recoome's most powerful attacks, a member of the Ginyu Force. A large and powerful blast shot from the mouth, it can destroy a large radius from where it hits.
Who uses this technique: Recoome

Eye Beam: A double ki blast shot from both eyes, it explodes on impact and can be used to stop other blasts.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo, Freezer, Artificial Human #20

Freezer Beam: Freezers trademark technique. Energy shot from the tip of the finger, it is a piercing attack and can be used to slice.
Who uses this technique: Freezer, Cell

Fusion: This is used to fuse two people into one person, giving that fused person a great power boost. Anyone can do it, but you have the same power as who you fuse with, and there is a proper pose and form. It is easy to make a mistake and fuse into something far weaker than expected. It will last for one half hour before the fused person will once again split into two people. 15-dai-mae Kaioshin has a special pair of earrings that allow people to fuse without the pose, but it lasts forever. Son Goku and Piccolo can do it without the earrings, but never attempted.
Who can use this technique: Son Goku, Piccolo, Goten, Trunks

Fusenko: This is a move Krillin used in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai. He sucks in a breath as he falls, puffing up and slowing the fall, therefore gaining a good defensive advantage.
Who uses this technique: Krillin

Galactica Donut: An attack Gotenks uses to trap enemies. It is a ring of energy which Gotenks can change the diameter of. It traps an enemy by surrounding him and holding his limbs out with the edge of the donut. SS3 Gotenks can use and adaption of this attack, Renzoku Super Donuts.
Who uses this technique: Gotenks

Galick-Ho: This is Vegeta's version of the Kamehameha. He powers it up just like the Kamehameha, but releases it with both hands palm forward.
Who uses this technique: Vegeta

Gekitotsu Buu Buu Volleyball: An attack once used by Piccolo and Gotenks. After trapping Buu with Renzoku Super Donuts, Gotenks and Piccolo play volleyball for a while before spiking it into the ground.
Who uses this technique: Gotenks, Piccolo

Genkidama (Spirit Bomb): This is one of Goku's most powerful techniques. It is a ball of energy Goku gathers from all things on Earth; humans, animals, plants, even rocks lend their energy to Goku to from the Genkidama. But to form one, he must raise his hands in the air and hold them there for a period of time, leaving him open to attack.
Who uses this technique: Goku

Gotenks' Special Kicks, Punches, and Tackles: These are moves that Gotenks named for no particular reason: Rolling Thunder Punch, Wild Boar Attack, Power Tackle, Great Kick Special, Magnum Sundae, Ultra Missile Parfait, and Hyper Plasma Shortcake. Despite the extravagant names, none proved very useful in battle.
Who uses this technique: Gotenks

Guruguru Gum: A technique used by Giran in the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai, Giran spits a sticky gumlike substance at his opponent. The gum wraps around the opponent, making it much harder to move.
Who uses this technique: Giran

Haikyuken: A move Tenshinhan used against Goku in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai. He treats his opponent like a volleyball, hitting him around volleyball style.
Who uses this technique: Tenshinhan

Hankokubikkurisho: A fairly strong technique in which Mutenroshi shoots a blast forward using both his hands, trapping the opponent in a shocking field of energy, from which the opponent usually cannot escape. This technique was only used in the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai.
Who uses this technique: Mutenroshi

Haretsu no Maho: A magic spell used by Babidi to make people explode. However, it only works on weak people, it would be ineffective on the Z fighters.
Who uses this technique: Babidi

Hasshuken: The person doing the technique moves their arms so fast is appears there are eight, and they attack with all eight.
Who uses this technique: Goku, Chapa-oo

Hell's Flash: In order to fire a blast with the most power, Artificial Human #16 takes off his hands, tucks them under his arms, and fires a powerful blast from the cannons under his wrists.
Who uses this technique: Artifical Human #16

Honoo: Not a particularly important technique, but this is one of Dabura's more powerful blasts. It's just what it says, a powerful breath of fire.
Who uses this technique: Dabura

"Invisible" Jumping*: First used against Kulilin in the second Tenkaichi-Budokai, Goku uses this attack to become "invisible." He jumps back and forth so fast that you cannot see him, then he stops jumping for a surprise attack.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku, and probably Kulilin, since Goku said he would teach him.

Jan-Ken Punch: "Jan-ken-pon" is a Japanese game identical to that of "Rock, Paper, Scissors." Goku then has three different types of Jan-Ken Punches.

Jan-Ken-Gu: Corresponding to "Rock," "Gu" is a strong punch to the face. Jan-Ken-Choki: Corresponding to "Scissors," "Choki" is an eye-stab with two fingers. Jan-Ken-Pa: Corresponding to "Paper," "Pa" is an open-handed slap to the face.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku

Jinruizetsumetsukogeki: Literally "Genocide Attack," this is not an attack that can be used in the heat of battle but is probably one of the single most devastating attacks ever used in the DB/DBZ series. It is a series of ki blasts shot into the air, which seek their targets upon being fired. After looking down on the Earth from the Tenkai, Majin-Buu used this technique to kill every human on Earth.
Who uses this technique: Majin-Buu

Kaioken: Taught to him by Kaio, this is primarily a power-up move. When Goku uses this technique, he flares up and gains a large boost to his speed and power. Goku can also use multiplied power to his Kaioken. At first, he shouldn't have been able to go past 2 x Kaioken without seriously endangering himself, but eventually can increase the power of the Kaioken to around a 20 x Kaioken. Note that except in the TV series, Goku doesn't use his Kaioken as a Super Saiyajin.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku

Kakusandan This technique was used by Kulilin during the fight with Nappa and Vegita, and is actually somewhat of an adaptation of an attack he used against Piccolo in the Tenkaichi-Budokai. What he does is shoot a blast from each hand. Then he controls the blasts so that they merge and then directs it above the heads of his enemies. Thereupon he splits the blast again into many smaller ki bolts which rain down upon his enemies. A very effective technique which wiped out virtually all of the Saibaimen.
Who uses this technique: Kulilin

Kakusanyudokodan: A potentially devastating maneuver, the user of this attack firer many ki bolts a la Renzoku Energy Dan around his opponent, surrounding them, then controls the bolts so they all shoot toward their target.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo

Kamehameha: Quite possibly the most commonly used special technique in all of the DB/DBZ series, the Kamehameha is a technique created by Mutenroshi. It is a ki blast, which to start is charged up held behind the firer in cupped hands, then brought forward to release a large blast of energy. Goku later develops to ability to control the direction of the blast, shoot one from his feet, or with a single hand. Also, he later develops a Cho-Kamehameha with even more power than the standard fare. Goten can use it as well, but misprounounces it as "Kamekameha" when he uses it
Who uses this technique: Mutenroshi, Son Goku, (Old) Son Gohan, Yamucha, Kulilin, Tenshinhan, (Young) Son Gohan, Cell, Cell Junior, Son Goten, Majin-Buu.

The Generic Ki Blast: This technique is not particularly special, but is used so much in the Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z world that it at least needs to be mentioned. The Generic Ki Blast is shot from the hands, and explodes on impact for a lot of damage. This is by far the most used technique in the DB/DBZ series, next to standard punches and kicks.
Who uses this technique: Practically everybody!

Kiai: This technique is used simply by yelling really loud; it disperses weaker ki attacks.
Who uses this technique: Tenshinhan

Kiaiho: An invisible force attack that knocks one's opponent back. It can be shot either from an open palm or from the eyes.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku, Freezer

Kienzan: This is another attack that is used quite frequently during the second series. It is a flat, disc-shaped Ki blast, which can be used to slice through its target with deadly accuracy. The Kienzan can also be controlled by the firer.
Who uses this technique: Kulilin, Vegita, Freezer, Cell, Artificial Human #18.

Kikoho: This is Tenshinhan's strongest Ki blast. Tenshinhan puts the tips of his fingers of both hands together, forming kind of an "O" between his fingers and his thumbs. Then he shoots a very powerful Ki blast through the "O" at his opponent. While this attack is very powerful, it is also extremely damaging to Tenshinhan, and can kill him if he uses it too much. Later on Tenshinhan develops this technique to become the Shinkikoho, which is even more powerful.
Who uses this technique: Tenshinhan, Cell (anime only), Cell Junior (anime only)

Ki no Tsurugi: Literally "Sword of Ki." This is a ki beam that shoots out somewhat as an extention of the hand and can be swung and stabbed to cut or pierce enemies. The length of the beam can be controlled by the user.
Who uses this technique: Vegitt

Kintoun: While not really an attack, Kintoun was used a lot by Goku in earlier battles to get him out of tight situations. Kintoun is a magic cloud created by Karin-sama. If you have a pure heart, you can ride the cloud and fly by controlling it mentally. If your heart is impure, you just fall right through it.
Who uses this technique: Anyone with a pure heart

Koshoku: Coming from the planet of darkness, Yakon can "eat" light using this technique. In fact, he caused Goku to go from Super Saiyajin to normal be "eating" his light. However, if he eats too much...
Who uses this technique: Yakon

Kyodaika: This is a technique used by Piccolo during the 23rd Tenkaichi-Budokai. With this technique Piccolo can grow his body to a huge size, making the range and strength of his blows much more effective. Of course, this makes him a larger target as well.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo

Kyoken: This attack's name is kind of a pun; it technically is "Mad attack," but also can mean "Mad dog" when spelled with a different Kanji. Goku acts like a mad dog, barking and charging at his enemy to scare him, then jumps over him and kicks his surprised enemy from behind.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku

Mafuba: This is a special Ki blast that is used to imprison demons. It is a swirling blast of energy shot at the intended demon. Once caught in the blast, the blast is directed into a jar, bottle, or other imprisonment container, thus imprisoning said demon. However, if the container is opened, whoever is trapped inside will be freed. This technique is also extremely draining; it is very easy to kill oneself by overexertion using this attack. The originator of this technique is Mutaito, Mutenroshi's master.
Who uses this technique: Mutaito, Mutenroshi, Tenshinhan, Kami-sama

Makankosappo: One of Piccolo's most powerful techniques, this is a penatrating blast shot from two fingers. It is actually two blasts, one going straight ahead and the other coiling around the first for drilling power. This attack drills through everything it hits, and eventually blows up when it hits something big enough.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo, Cell, Cell Junior

Makosen: This is a Ki blast that is used by Piccolo-Daimao. Piccolo gathers ki into both his arms, then fires a blast from each, one after the other. Not a particularly powerful attack when compared to some of the later moves, but it almost killed Goku once.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo-Daimao

Masenko: This is Gohan's trademark energy blast, and is fairly powerful. Gohan powers up a blast over his head with both his hands, one palm behind the other, then brings his hands down in front of him to fire the blast. Gohan used this blast fairly often during the second series, especially during the Freezer saga.
Who uses this technique: Son Gohan

Mystic Attack: This is an attack first used by Piccolo during the Tenkaichi-Budokai. Using the Nameck ability to extend their arms, he extends his arm at his enemy from a distance, thus surprising them. Once Piccolo grabs his opponent, he draws him back for an attack like a punch or a kick.
Who uses this technique: Any Nameck-seijin

Nyoibo: Not exactly a technique, but Goku uses his Nyoibo a lot in the first DB series. The Nyoibo is a magic staff that has the power to extend up to 380,000 kilometers upon command. At first Goku said "Bo yo, nobiro!" (Hey, staff, extend!) but later changed to "Nobiro, nyoibo!" (Extend, Nyoibo!)
Who uses this technique: Probably anybody, but only Goku uses it.

Papparapar: This is a magic spell that Babidi can use to teleport people in his spaceship. Actually, he teleports the entire room, with the people in it, to another place.
Who uses this technique: Babidi

Rogafufuken: This attack is Yamucha's trademark technique; after preparing himself in a special stance, attacks with many "claw-like" punches and kicks, finishing off with a double-fisted "claw-punch." After training with Mutenroshi, Yamucha improves on this technique to become the Shin-(new)Rogafufuken.
Who uses this technique: Yamucha

Rolling Satan Punch: Satan curls up into a ball, rolls along the ground, then punches his opponent. Being one of Satan's attacks, this one is pretty much useless in a "real" Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z fight.
Who uses this technique: Mister Satan

Renzoku Energy Dan: While many characters can use this technique, the undisputed master of this technique is Vegita. The user of this technique can shoot ki bolts continuously from his hands, resulting in somewhat of a "machine-gun ki blast" effect. While the indivual blasts are not particulary powerful, the effect of hundreds together can be devastating.
Who uses this technique: Vegita, Son Goku, Son Gohan, Piccolo.

Renzoku Shine, Shine Missile: This is Gotenks' adaptation of the Renzoku Energy Dan technique. Basically the same, but a whole lot more powerful.
Who uses this technique: Gotenks.

Rikum Kick: A charging knee blow used by Rikum of the Ginyu-tokusentai. Rather powerful.
Who uses this technique: Rikum

Rikum Mahha Attack: The punch equivalent of his Kick, the Rikum Mahha Attack is a charging punch.
Who uses this technique: Rikum

Saiko no Kogeki: Literally "Ultimate Attack," this is the Ki blast that Nappa shoots out of his mouth. Very powerful.
Who uses this technique: Nappa

Saimin no Jutsu: This is a technique that Jacky Chun can use to hypnotize someone and affect his or her mind. He used it agains Otoko-ookami during the 22nd Tenkaichi-Budokai. Who can use: Mutenroshi Saruken: Much like Mutenroshi's "Suiken," this is primarily a "distract and avoid" technique; Goku acts like a monkey, using monkey-like attacks (scratching, bouncing, etc.) and taunting his opponent at the same time.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku

Satan Special Ultra Super Megaton Punch: Mister Satan's "Ultimate" attack. Really just a normal punch. Mister Satan forgot the name of this attack almost as soon as he had made it. Used against #18 in the 25th Tenkaichi-Budokai.
Who uses this technique: Mister Satan

Sekikatsuba: This is one of Dabura's powerful attacks. Dabura's saliva will tun whatever it hits to stone, be it alive or not. The only way to reverse the petrification is to kill Dabura.
Who uses this technique: Dabura

Shiyoken: This is a technique used by Tenshinhan to sprout an extra set of arms from his shoulders. Therefore he can both attack and block with all four arms, significantly increasing his attack and defense power.
Who uses this technique: Tenshinhan

Shogekiha: This is almost exactly like the Kiaiho. It is an invisible blast shot from the eyes, hand, but is a little more versatile, and can be shot from any part of the body. Piccolo (Jr) can adapt this attack to radiate from his entire body.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo, Kaioshin, Majin-Buu.

Shunkanido: Not a fighting technique, but often used to gain a tactical advantage in a fight. The Shunkanido is a teleport. The user places two fingers on his forehead, searches for a ki he wants to go to, then when he finds it, can teleport there. It is not a technique that one can use to teleport wherever he pleases; there must be a person there to teleport to.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku, Cell

Sokidan: This is a round energy ball shot from the palm of the hand. What is really special about this attack is that it is guided, probably the most easily guided energy attack in the first series. I think it was only used once, during the 23rd Tenkaichi-Budokai.
Who uses this technique: Yamucha

Spinning Cyclone*: Goku only used this technique once during the first Tenkaichi-Budokai in the series. He spins around at a very fast speed, at which point he turns into somewhat of a cyclone and knocks into his enemies. It didn't work too well because he got too dizzy. I guess that's why he never used it again.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku

Suiken: This is technique is used by Mutenroshi; he acts drunk and wobbles around. Thereby, he confuses his opponent, and hits them when they are off guard.
Who uses this technique: Mutenroshi

Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack: One of Gotenks' strongest techniques, he spits out a ghost-like form closely resembling himself. The ghostlike form has a mind of its own, and when it hits anything, it explodes, severely damaging whatever is caught in the blast.
Who uses this technique: Gotenks

Taiyoken: This technique is originally Tenshinhan's. The user puts his hands in front of his face, says "Taiyoken," and lights up very bright, so much that he blinds his opponent. This technique was used a lot througout Dragon Ball Z.
Who uses this technique: Tenshinhan, Son Goku, Kulilin, Cell

Tenkubekejiken: The user of this technique jumps high in the air, then on the way down, face forward with his arms in an "X" position, landing on his opponent with the arm "X." A very powerful technique when used upon those without any special fighting powers.
Who uses this technique: Namu

Time stop: This is an attack used by Guld, the smallest member of the Ginyu-tokusentai. When he uses it, he freezes time for his opponents so that they are frozen in whatever position they were in. However, he needs to keep his attention on his victims in order to keep them frozen. Guld also has the power to stop time completely, but for only a moment, and he can't do it for too many times without tiring himself out.
Who uses this technique: Guldo

Tsuihidan: This is another technique used by Piccolo during the 23rd Tenkaichi-Budokai. It is a ki blast, and it tracks its enemy much like Kulilin's Double Tsuihikidan.
Who uses this technique: Piccolo

Udebunrikogeki: The user of this technique pulls a piece off of his body and controls it to attack his opponent in some way. Naturally, only Majin-Buu can use this technique.
Who uses this technique: Majin-Buu

Yoikominminken: This was a technique used by Jacky Chun during the 21st Tenkaichi-Budokai. It is a hypnosis technique used to put people into a deep sleep, by using a strange voice and hand motions.
Who uses this technique: Mutenroshi

Yokaieki: This is a technique used by the Saibaimen. They split their head in two and shoot a stream of acid from it, which is very dangerous if it hits its target.
Who uses this technique: Saibaiman

Zanzoken: Another technique created by Mutenroshi, with this technique, the user can move so fast he leaves an after-image, while attacking from another standpoint. Goku can also leave multiple images, I think the maximum he used was around 7 or 8 in Karin's tower. Later Mutenroshi learns to make large numbers of images as well.
Who uses this technique: Son Goku, Mutenroshi, Kulilin, Tenshinhan
