Ace

Ace is initially a villain in Twinbee Yahho! He helps Archduke Nonsense imprison Princess Melody and attempts to destroy Twinbee when he tries to rescue her. He flies a large, red ship called the 'Shooting Star', which has a charging beam laser and multi-directional firing capabilities. He's not a bad guy though, and seems fairly apologetic about the whole thing. Once he realises Warumon is behind Nonsense's coup, he reverts to the side of good and prevents the evil doctor from escaping. He's also a playable character in Sexy Parodius, in which he gets to exercise his baser instincts.

Melody

Princess Melody is the rightful ruler of Wonderland. Presumably she rules with a tolerant and just hand. Unfortunately, she gets deposed by Archduke Nonsense and his cronies, and even betrayed by her paramour, Ace. Fortunately, she has the good sense to call on Twinbee for help, so everything gets sorted out. Melody, like all of her subjects (except for Ace, possibly) has rather large ears. Her Kingdom has much in common with Lewis Carroll's Wonderland, being a surreal paradise filled with Cheshire Cats, playing card armies and that sort of thing.

Archduke Nonsense

Loud, pompous and extremely self-important, Nonsense has designs upon the throne of Wonderland, which he briefly gains through a coup. What he hasn't told everyone else is that Warumon is helping him out by providing a lot of the necessary firepower. Nonetheless, he succeeds in persuading a large part of the military to support his claims to the succession. He does his fighting in a huge battle-suit modelled on Lewis Carroll's Alice. Has a fondness for saying 'Nonsense' a lot.

Wonder Shogun

A real thug. The Shogun is chief of the Wonderland military which betrays its trust by mobilising against Melody. He plays the role of bodyguard to Archduke Nonsense. Peculiarly, he has a crocodile's tail, which creeps out the back of his armour. When fighting, he sits inside a giant, robotic sword-wielding Knight.

The Henchmen

Not much is known about this pair, but they're on Nonsense's side. The eyepatch wearing individual pilots a large airship propelled by umbrellas. His red-haired friend drives a large, spider-like tank. Both, inevitably, get trounced by Twinbee.

Apple Sensei

Despite the over-sized picture, there's not a whole lot I can say about 'Apple Sensei' - and yes, that is her real name, as far as I can tell. That's chalk in her hand, and she's a teacher...in the unlikely event that Light and Pastel actually go to school, they might well be in her class. She's the lady I refer to in the Twinbee Taisen Puzzle Dama review as 'a green-haired mystery woman'. She appears in that game, and also in Twinbee RPG...though I haven't met her yet in the latter case, she does get the FMV treatment, so I assume that she's important. When puzzling it out against the other residents of Donburi Island, she has a tendency to celebrate combos by stripping off. In all other respects though, she's doubtless a pillar of the community.

Iva

Generally speaking, and I hope that I say this without prejudice, giant brains tend to be a disreputable sort. Iva is no exception, using his genius to attack Melora and attempt to take over the Universe in Detana Twinbee. He protects his intellect with a giant, insectoid shell which, unfortunately, is so weak that it takes only a couple of shots to disintegrate. Giant brains don't survive well without external support, making Iva the most anti-climactic final boss to ever grace a Twinbee game.
