The Shadowfox is Brad's second Zoid and appeared first in episode #20. Like the Liger, this Zoid was tempermental. It initially belonged to Dr. Layon who was unable to find a suitable pilot until Brad escaped the Backdraft's clutches using the Shadowfox. Later in an unsanctioned battle with the Blitz team, the Shadowfox is given to Brad and the team when the dark judge is overpowered by the Zoids Battle Commission Judge. (Hey, it's only fair since Dr. Layon really trashed Brad's poor Command Wolf when he was captured....don't you think?)

The Shadowfox is highly equipped with an AZ 30mm Laser Vulcan Gun, an AZ 70mm Electromagnetic Net Gun, a Strike Laser Claw, a Smoke Discharger, as well as a Multi Sensor which is perfect for detecting stealth objects. It's sleek design is exceptional for speed and maneuverability, and the Vulcan Gun handles well even at the sharpest angles. Sounds like the perfect Zoid... only....it is not an Ultimate X and does not remember each opponent's moves. Therefore, it is up to the warrior to bring out this Zoid's full potential.
