At the end tai's digimon agumon digivolved with the crest of courage to MetalGreymon and defeated etemon but then tai and agumon then got sent back to the real world... and did etemon really get destroyed!?

Myotismon first started his treachery when tai got back from the real world. He started by tricking the kids that they don't need their digimon but, once they got back together they all could digivolve to the ultimate stage except patamon. Eventually they found a new digi-destined "Kari" and her digimon Gatomon and she got her digivice and crest and gatomon digivolved to the ultimate stage "Angewomon" and destroyed him ... but not for good.

VenomMyotismon was created when myotismon was destroyed by Angewomon. All the digimon's data created him and even demidevimon's data. He is at the mega level and when he was created it was told in a prophecy that angels of hope and light "Angemon and Angewomon" would shoot arrows at their loved ones tai and matt (tk and kari's loved ones) and gabumon and agumon warp digivolved to their mega forms "MetalGarurumon" and "WarGreymon" and defeated VenomMyotismon was destroyed and his data went into a man named Oikawa.....
