Travel-worn treasure hunter, Locke is my all time favorite character of all the Final Fantasy VI cast. This treasure hunter (since it's inaproppriate to call him a thief) is the hero in the story to Celes' heroine.
Locke comes into the story to save Terra, with the help of the moogles of course. However, however happy-go-lucky Locke may seem, he loves with the constant guilt that he's the reason his long lost love Rachel lost her memory. Locke used to go treasure hunting with Rachel until one day she fell and ended up losing her memory. Unfortunately for Locke, this came at a time just after she'd agreed to marry him. (Poor Locke-kun!) However, her village is attacked and Rachel is killed, but right before she dies she remembers Locke and utters her last words...his name. Ever since then Locke has lived to protect those around him, especially Celes.
Locke's ever important bandana. The bandana Celes finds on the bird on the solitary island. Locke simply wouldn't be Locke without his bandana.
