BIO:

Nobuhiro first started drawing when he was influenced by his older brother and Manga artists like fujiko fujio( Doraemon) and Mitsuru Adachi( Touch). His first story was published by Weekly Shonen Jump when he was a Freshman in high school He did this by winning the annual pop step Award held by Weekly Shonen Jump to find new work. After Nobuhiro Watsuki was done with high school, he worked as an assistant for Takashi Obata (Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Cypher)

The Rurouni Kenshin Manga started in 1994, and has 28 volumes, ending with the Revenge Arc, which is what happens during the OAVs. Watsuki learned a lot about Japan's History while doing research for Kenshin's story. When the Manga was being turned into a TV show, at first he did not get along with the production crew but now he has trust in their work.

What other things does Watsuki like? well besides drawing he enjoys playing video games, mostly fighting or action games, he likes listening to music, and oh course he likes watching Anime.

Influences:

American Comics, such as X-men and Spiderman. Which could be seen in his character designs for some of his characters. He also likes American movies, mostly action films.

To follow the Manga, a 95 episode TV series, 4 episode oav series, a movie, 2 playstation games, and 10 music CDs has been created for the series.
