Hibio's adventurous mother would do anything for the chance to study an ancient, mysterious tribe of mystics. And when Nima, one of the tribe's more beautiful members, sees a family photograph, the explorer has her bargaining chip. So she gives the young girl her son as a husband. She just doesn't tell him about it. So when Nima shows up on his doorstep, full of love (and magical power). Hibio's not exactly thrilled about it. Nima, however, is undaunted, and she'll use whatever she can to protect her man and prove her love for him. But a pretty young tribal highlander has a lot to learn about 21st century teen culture. That's okay, because a 21st century teenage boy has a lot to learn about the magic of love.
(Action/Comedy)
Er, it's not all that interesting. a bit below average in my opinion. It doesn't help either that ADV seems to have changed the names for whatever reason so that the subbed and dubbed version doesn't match. It tries to be a sweet romantic comedy...and fails. It tries to be action packed and they stopped filling in the action halfway through. Basically, your average cute uber princess in love with a worthless ass jack who may have a sweet side to him inside that nasty exterior. Don't bother with this.
:
Bala arrives in Tokyo and introduced herself to Hibio, who is completely reluctant in having any relationship with any girl. Of course, Hibio himself, though seemingly completely against it, is not the real threat. One of his classmates, a girl who seems to be cold towards everyone, particularly Hibio, finds out about Bala, she explodes and challenges Bala to a duel to the death.

Tekken
Oh the humanity! I bought this title when it first came out thinking that it was gonna rock just like Street Fighter II the Animated Movie. SF2 was pretty damn good while Tekken, well, let's just say
DON'T BUY OR RENT IT!
It's a horrible piece of crap! Really! Save your money for something else.
Tenchi Muyo (OVA)
Hands down, this is one of my favorite series. It's also the first series that I was able to complete with my own money. Ah, nostalgia. Tenchi Muyo really is a great series. It has everything that makes a series/movie successful-a gallant knight, a princess, a wise mentor, a space pirate, an all powerful force that can be used to dominate all things (wait, did I just describe Star Wars?), a genius, and a furry little cabbit. All of this makes this series worthwhile. Oh, and did I mention that Ryoko is just sooo awesome? She is so much better than that Ayeka because she knows how to have fun, is honest, and damn, I wish a girl would love me the way that she has loved and devoted herself to Tenchi! That said, yeah, it's a must buy-especially the OVA series.
(Action/Adventure/Sci-fi)
Wow! I'm surprised Sir Bon could manage to peel his eyes off of the love of his life, Ryoko, long enough to figure out what the plot was about ^_-. He does have good reason to idolize her, however. The life of the party, she is pretty much the sole reason for watching Tenchi Muyo (well, besides that cute cuddly cabbit *_*).
Please note that the OVA's and the TV series do not follow the same sequence of events, but are all contained in their own separate dimensions. Also, for those of you who has seen this on Toonami, have you ever wondered at the editing job that they did? I mean, come on, who freakin' gets smashed on tea? If there is such a tea, I want that kind- no really! Yeeesh! They changed sake into tea to keep the little kiddies from associating it with alcohol, but unless those same little kiddies know what sake really is, it's pretty useless. And if they didn't know what o-sake really was, then it doesn't matter cause A)their dad talks to them about alcohol, B) they know the culture of Japan and can tell what's going on with those "tea" scenes, or C) they've got a drunk in the household who loves sake sooo much that the kid will know what the "tea" really is anyway. Also, who the freak takes a freakin' bath wearing their freakin' underwear?
Ryoko Resurrected:
Tenchi is curious to see if the shrine that his grandfather is caretaker of really does have a demon sealed within. Of course, true to form, he not only discovers that there really is a demon sealed within, he accidentally breaks the seal and resurrects it as well. Of course Ryoko, the demon, is pretty pissed after having been sealed away for seven hundred years and the first thing she does is go on a rampage...in Tenchi's school!
Here Comes Ayeka!:
Ok, so Tenchi manages to defeat Ryoko with the help of the magical sword that sealed her away, only to go home and find her sleeping in his bed (hmmm...Ryoko in my bed...er, I mean bad Bon! BAD!) after destroying his school. Now she demands the jewels on his sword (no, not those jewels) because and even scarier "demon" is coming their way. Of course, after he finally decides to comply with Ryoko, it's already too late! Aaarrrggghhh! It's Ayeka, a real demon! Well not really, just a spoiled Jurain princess looking for her long lost step brother Yosho. Needless to say, Ryoko and Tenchi get captured. Thank god Sasami is also there to help them out!
Hello Ryo-Ohki!:
Now that Ayeka and Sasami are stuck on earth, they have come to live with Tenchi. Trying to adjust to earth life, Ayeka discovers that Tenchi really is a descendant of her long lost step brother Yosho. Not only that, she discovers that Funaho, Yosho's Jurain tree and soul of his spaceship has taken root near the Masaki shrine. Finally convinced by this proof of lineage, Ayeka happily relinquishes the sword back to Tenchi.
Mihoshi Falls to the Land of Stars:
The hot springs! The hot spring! Whoo-hoo! The usual hi-jinx ensues when Ryoko and Ayeka start arguing which ends up with Ryoko summoning a demon without realizing that she needs at least 2 jewels to control it. Of course it goes on a rampage and Tenchi has to clean up the mess, which means that he must destroy the summoned demon before it destroys the hot springs completely. As Tenchi faces the demon, the strangest thing happens, the energy of the demon pulls a spaceship down to earth. The space ship belongs to Mihoshi, a Galaxy Police officer hot on the trail of Kagato, the most wanted criminal in the universe.
Kagato Attacks!:
Just as things were starting to become normal, Kagato attacks (no duh from the title right?) and kidnaps Ryoko. As Tenchi tries to rescue Ryoko, Kagato reveals what he is after- Tsunami, the first and source of all Jurain trees and the godly powers she wields. As the sword is about to be taken away from Tenchi, Grandpa steps in and reveals himself to be none other than the long lost Yosho, first Prince of Jurai! Using Ryo-ohki, Tenchi, Ayeka, and Mihoshi go after Kagato in an attempt to rescue Ryoko.
We Need Tenchi!:
Ryoko breaks free of Kagato's prison only to find out that Tenchi is already dead. Enraged by grief, she, Ayeka, and Mihoshi storm Kagato's space fortress, the Souja, to take their revenge and bring the criminal to justice. True to form, Mihoshi gets lost within the massive ship and accidentally releases Washu, the real creator of the Souja, Ryo-ohki, the genius professor that Kagato is apprenticed to, and Ryoko's mom. Just as Kagato is about to win, Tsunami steps in and sends a very important warrior to help save the day.
The Night Before the Carnival:
Everything is back to normal in the Masaki household, well, as normal as it can be. Washu has occupied the mop closet, Sasami is still as cheerful and mischievous as ever, Ryo-Ohki is still as cute as ever, Mihoshi is still a ditz, and Ryoko and Ayeka are still fighting over Tenchi. This is the transition between the two OVA seasons. Nothing really goes on in here. No story is resolved. It's just Ryoko and Ayeka fighting over Tenchi once again. More hi-jinx ensue and did I mention Washu in a nurse's outfit?
Hello! Baby:
Meet Taro, Tenchi's baby nephew. It would seem that his mother has suddenly gotten ill and Tenchi and the girls have ended up having to take care of him. Of course, with so many girls around it shouldn't be any problem taking good care of him right? Wrong! From Mihoshi tying his diaper into a Gordian knot to Ayeka tossing poor Taro in the air the first time he peed on her to Ryoko trying to feed Taro his powdered baby milk- without diluting it first with water, this baby is in one heck of a mess! D’oh! Good thing Washu is around to lend a helping hand. Who knew that Washu would make an excellent mother?
Sasami and Tsunami:
It's back to the old hot springs (you know- the one that got destroyed by Ryoko's berserk summoned demon. This time, they will be fixing the damage they caused instead of relaxing in it! While working in the hot springs, they all start seeing an image of a ghostly woman in white wandering the halls of the hot springs inn. When they find out that the ghostly image is coming from Sasami, Ayeka is confronted with a terrible secret that Sasami has kept for well over 700 years.
I Love Tenchi:
In a misunderstanding, Ryo-ohki runs away thinking that Tenchi hates her. Of course Tenchi was only yelling those things to Ryoko (bastard, how dare you treat Ryoko-sama that way!) when Ryo-ohki walks in. After the misunderstanding has been cleared, Ryo-ohki is still left with feelings of insecurity and yearns to help out Tenchi. Those feelings in turn were received by the Mass (a mineral based life form with lots of power that Ryo-Ohki was made from). The Mass breaks free of it's cage in Washu's lab and is now wandering around trying to do things to help Tenchi with. Now the problem with that is that whenever the Mass feels a huge amount of power, it feels threatened and starts attacking that power source!
The Advent of Goddess:
One of the three goddesses, Lady Tokimi, has decided that she wants to have a little talk with Washu. To grant this decree (and get the reward of rulership over an entire galaxy) Dr. Clay, an old acquaintance of Washu's has undertaken the task of bringing her back using any means necessary. In order to get Washu to cooperate, Dr. Clay has kidnapped Ryoko and replaced her with his assistant, Zero, who has copied Ryoko's form and memories. Of course, Dr. Clay didn't count on Zero also copying Ryoko's love for Tenchi or that it will interfere with his plans.
Zero Ryoko:
Dr. Clay has ordered to kill Tenchi and the conflict of Zero's programming between absolute obedience to her master and the love she has for Tenchi (copied from Ryoko) has caused the mission to fail. When she flees back to Dr. Clay's gigantic space battleship, Tenchi, Ayeka and Washu chase after her in order to rescue the real Ryoko. With Mihoshi already there, Tenchi, Ayeka and Mihoshi storm the space battleship looking for the whereabouts of the main control room where Ryoko is being kept. Washu, on the other hand, has already discovered it and gets a long awaited reunion with her old acquaintance.
Here Comes Jurai:
It is the end of the second OVA series. Funaho (Yosho's mother, not the Jurain Tree) appears one quiet day and asks for Yosho. It would seem that Mihoshi's report about the Kagato incident has finally been analyzed and the Jurain royalty is about to try and take some action! Misaki (Ayeka and Sasami's mother) also appears and causes some rather unpredictable situations with Ryoko. Lastly, The Jurain King, Yosho, Ayeka, and Sasami's father, comes down with a new chosen fiancé for Ayeka. If Tenchi can't defeat him in battle, Ayeka will have to come home (and Ryoko gets saddled with the bill for all the damage she caused 700 years ago)!
A Visitor from Afar:
Thins are back to normal once more. Tenchi, reminisces about the life he had before Ryoko came along and what has happened afterwards. Heading to his dad's office in town, he passes his old school that Ryoko blew up when they first met and runs into some of his old classmates who has learned that he is living with a group of beautiful girls and are mad at him for that reason. He then heads to his dad's place, who is living there with Reia, an aunt of his. Back home, while his dad assembles a computer that he got for them, a visitor arrives and Tenchi is taken back when he sees hi mother standing there, seemingly resurrected from the grave.
Fiancé:
The one that Tenchi mistakes for Kiyone, his mother, turns out to be actually Tennyo, his older sister. She has come bearing news about Tenchi's fiancé that Seto, Ayeka, Sasami, and Yosho's grandmother. They mistake Airi, Yosho's new wife (by decree of Seto as well), as Tenchi's fiancé. Tenchi, working the fields before getting to the part about Airi being Yosho's wife, meets Noike, his new fiancé and Seto's adopted daughter there. Noike also turned out to be Mihoshi's old partner. Going to grandpa's place, he explains everything to Tenchi - why he never met Tennyo, he was never told of the Jurai heritage, and he revealed to him what he really looks like. Tennyo (who is actually 80) then leaves them to go her old class' final reunion.
Right Now I'm Resting ~Strategy~:
With Ryoko, Ayeka, and Mihoshi's constant bugging of Tenchi, Tenchi collapses from exhaustion and stress. Washu prescribes three days of rest for him and puts Noike, who is a nurse, in charge of taking care of Tenchi. To keep everyone from bugging Tenchi, everyone gets assigned "chore" that will help in Tenchi's recovery. Noike also gets Grandpa to get them a mini truck to help Tenchi in his fieldwork. After Tenchi's recovery, she invites him to his ship, a top secret experimental third generation Jurain battleship made because of the events caused by Ryoko and Ryo-ohki.
Misao Arrives Aboard the Chobimaru:
Misao heads for earth in the hopes of recovering his big sister Mihoshi from the evil grasps of Tenchi. To that end, he plans on eliminating him accidentally with the Chobimaru, the most advanced battleship of the GP that looks like a small satellite planet. To that end, Mashisu, his adjutant, decides to act on a plan to eliminate Tenchi by accident and capture the Jurains living with him. She sets out his plans with her subordinates. Back on Earth, Seto finally makes an appearance and collapses from lack of sleep the moment she meets everyone. As Washu is taking care of her, Noike and Sasami prepares a feast for when she wakes up. The moment they separate, Mashisu and her subordinates decide to attack.
Lovey-dovey Epic Battle - The Beginning of the End:
Mashisu and her subordinates gets easily beaten up and captured. Ryoko, enraged by what was said to her when they tried to hold her back, attacks the Chobimaru. The Chobimaru, the most advanced battleship in the GP fleet, quickly proves to be no match for Ryoko and Ryo-ohki. While in Seto's Tsunami class Jurain battleship, they decide to play match maker between Mashisu and Misao. They manage to get a confession of their true feelings for one another when Ryoko nearly destroy the Chobimaru and Mashisu gets wounded badly. Mourning Mashisu they soon discover that the whole scene is just an illusion that Seto and Washu concocted to get the two of them together.
Z:
Just as things are starting to cool down again, Lady Tokimi's champion arrives to take out Tenchi against her wishes. Tokimi arrives to separate him and Tenchi and when it seems that he might be able to kill Tenchi, Tsunami reveals herself to intervene as well as Washu's goddess form re-emerges. When Z kills Tenchi while the three goddesses are having a conference, they have to work together to avert the destruction of all there is resulting from Tenchi's too early ascension into higher power. Afterwards, the three goddesses explains to them all what they have been trying to do since the beginning of the universe and resets time from the beginning of the series before Mihoshi sends her mail, though they still have memories of what could have happened if she did send it.
Tenchi Muyo: Mihoshi Special
Everyone knows Mihoshi, one of the beautiful girls living with Tenchi. She’s a bit of a scatterbrain, but she’s a Galaxy Policewoman. And, according to her, one of the best! Nobody believes her, but maybe they’ll acknowledge her abilities after she recounts how she and her partner, Kiyone, solved the galaxy’s most notorious case! Tenchi as the investigator, Ryoko as the space pirate, and Sasami as the Magical Girl Pretty Sammy!? All the Tenchi Muyo characters are cast (against their will?) in her amazing and unbelievable story! A special episode!
(Action/Comedy/Science-Fiction)
This is a side story (wait - aren't most of the ova stories side stories?) of the OVA reality where Mihoshi tells her adventures as a Galaxy Policewoman and her and her partner's greatest triumph. This is also where Sasami first shows up as Pretty Sammy. The usual hijink and chaos ensues. Got get this one.
Tenchi Muyo: Tenchi Universe (TV1)
(Action/Adventure/Comedy)
Set in a different continuation than the OVA's. This one is mostly a retelling of the OVA's with more characters and a rearranging of some events and character backgrounds. Personally, I preferred the charm of the OVA series much more, but the TV series is also pretty good.
No Need for Discussions!:
The carnival is over and Tenchi reminisces about the time he spent with Ryoko and Ayeka and the rest of the gang. As he is leaving to go to school, he thinks about how it all began- when he saw Ryo-Ohki falling to earth carrying Ryoko who claims to be in trouble and is being pursued by a most notorious space pirate and desperately needs Tenchi's help...
No Need for a Princess!:
With Ryoko and Mihoshi stuck on earth, Mihoshi activates her distress beacon hoping that someone might pick it up. A royal Jurain princess named Ayeka happens to be in the general area and picks up the signal. When she lands on earth in search of the source of the distress signal...hey wait a minute, how the heck does Ryoko, a space pirate and most wanted criminal in the universe and Ayeka, a royal princess of the house of Jurai, the most powerful kingdom in the universe know each other?
No Need for Worries!:
With Ayeka missing, it wouldn't be long until someone searches for her. That is what Sasami is doing on earth- searching for her big sister Ayeka. Now that Ayeka and Mihoshi have a way to get back to wherever they belong, a farewell party is thrown in their honor and during the party, Ryoko reveals that she has laid an egg with Tenchi as the father! Of course the egg hatches into Ryo-Ohki and as the Mihoshi and the princesses leave earth, Tenchi and Ryoko accompany them all the way to the earth's atmosphere and...hey, is that a carrot that you're carrying in your hands Sasami?
No Need for Monsters!:
OK, so we've got the Masaki shrine sealing a demon away (sound familiar?) and curiosity has gotten the better of Ryoko and she decides to "explore" the cave with Tenchi without telling anyone else. Of course, when Ayeka realizes that Tenchi is missing and Ryoko is nowhere to be found as well, she puts two and two together and comes up with three. She, Sasami, Mihoshi, and Ryo-Ohki go out searching for Tenchi and Ryoko who have snuck off somewhere for a "romantic" getaway from the gang. When Ayeka catches up to Ryoko, sparks begin to fly and...hey, is it really such a good idea to fight in a place where a fragile seal keeps a demon of untold destructive powers locked away?
No Need for Partners!:
Kiyone, Mihoshi's partner, is a brilliant Galaxy Police detective on her way to the top. Well, she was until she got Mihoshi for her partner. After that everything went downhill for her. Of course now that Mihoshi has gotten herself killed in the line of duty pursuing the most wanted criminal in the universe, things are going to get better for her again, right? It would if Mihoshi really did get killed.
No Need for Resident Officers!:
Poor Kiyone, if it weren't for Mihoshi, she would be at the top of the GP chain right now. Unfortunately for her (and fortunately for us), she is with Mihoshi stationed at a dumping ground (i.e. Earth). With their low salaries as GP resident officers, they also have to take part time jobs on Earth to be able to pay rent and put food on the table and rush off into space whenever an emergency arises!
No Need for a Carnival!:
It is the night of the festival and Tenchi is taking Sasami for some good old R&R. With Washu running a high-tech horror house, Ryoko running scams all over, Ayeka in a shooting gallery (complete with Ryoko doll for targets), Kiyone and Mihoshi running a food stand (with borrowed equipment from Washu), you can tell one thing for sure-it's not going to be just any old, boring festival! For the Ryoko-Ayeka rivalry fans, here is another chance to see kiddie Ryoko and Ayeka flashbacks.
No Need for a Genius!:
Washu, who has been imprisoned for several hundred years, decides that she is behind in her work and creates a mechanical version of herself. But just before she is able to copy her mind data on to the robot disaster strikes in the form of Mihoshi. Now with Washu's design and Mihoshi airheadedness, it's the ultimate walking disaster area and Washu has to destroy her own creation before it ends up destroying everything else!
No Need for Memories!:
One day, when the snow fell into the Masaki residence, it brings about painful memories to the Masaki's that they would rather forget. On the other hand, Sasami seems to be enjoying herself playing in the snow while Ryoko is miserable and can't stand the cold. While playing in the snow, Sasami discovers that Ryu-oh, Ayeka's tree has begun to regenerate itself again in the midst of the lake where her spaceship crashed. When Tenchi collapses, Sasami uses the sap from Ryu-oh to help him get better. During his fevered sleep, he remembers that it was during a day like today, when it was snowing, that his mother died. When he wakes up, he runs of to her grave site to find that his grandfather and his dad are already there visiting.
No Need for an Arch Rival!:
Nagi is probably the most dangerous bounty hunter in the entire universe. Whomever she targets, she always gets her man. In all the time that she has been a bounty hunter, no one has ever escaped her grasp-no one except for Ryoko. Now, she has managed to track Ryoko down and has kidnapped Tenchi. Her only demand for Tenchi's safe return-a duel with Ryoko. Unfortunately, her partner, a cabbit named Ken-Ohki, has befriended Ryo-Ohki and refuses to fight Ryo-Ohki. That means that their duel is going to be a really messy one on one hand to hand combat!
Time and Space Adventures: Part I:
Washu invents a machine that can pick from the countless possibilities of time and space, an ideal one for whoever uses it. Unfortunately, with Ryoko, Ayeka, Mihoshi, Kiyone, and Sasami messing with it and giving it their ideal world all at once, things have gotten out of control and the gang has been split in countless different dimensions with Washu at the core trying to piece everything together. For the first world, it’s feudal Japan with Ayeka as the princes, Tenchi the prince, Ryoko the bandit, and Mihoshi and Kiyone as the 2 competent constables.
Time and Space Adventures: Part II:
Time and Space Adventures: Part III:
No Need for a Rebellion!:
One peaceful day in the Masaki residence, a Juraian battleship suddenly appears and arrests Princess Ayeka for rebellion by order of the new Juraian Emperor and has detained Ryoko for piracy. It seems that while she is on vacation, a new emperor has been selected and he has declared Ayeka and Sasami as fugitives. Of course, none of the others are willing to let it be, so Tenchi and the gang goes off to rescue them and in the process, gets on the universe's most wanted list!
No Need for an Escape!:
Kiyone and Mihoshi are summoned to the Galaxy Police HQ after Tenchi and the gang's escape. There, Kiyone is questioned about Ayeka and Sasami. Feigning ignorance, she discovered the truth behind the recent events. The new Juraian emperor, it would seem, is a legendary Juraian prince named Yosho who came back to reclaim his throne. Of course Yosho can't be a fake because the Juraian power that he wields is proof enough of his heritage as a Juraian Prince. When Mihoshi blunders (again), Kiyone finds herself trying to evade every GP officer in HQ as she tries to escape!
No Need for Hiding!:
The gang, in order to avoid detection, hides out in a planet and takes up new identities in a bar. With grandfather Katsuhiko as the bartender, Ayeka and Noboyuki as the host and hostess, Tenchi the waiter, Sasami and Kiyone as the kitchen staff, Azaka and Kamidake as the bar mascot, and the rest of the girls as drinking buddies, they scam their way to getting enough cash to fuel Yagami to get to Planet Jurai. Of course, they eventually get revealed when Mihoshi's clumsiness accidentally blows up their bar and they are chased by the galaxy police as the terrorists who blew up a local bar!
No Need for Hunger!:
When the Yagami’s engine blows up and the food supply runs out, the gang decides to send the person who has been eating all the food behind everyone else’s back. Of course, you can’t really expect Ryoko to behave when she’s by herself now do you? Instead of just buying food and returning to Yagami, Ryoko decides to eat at almost every single high class restaurant, get drunk, gamble and just relax by a pool resort. By the time Ryo-ohki manages to convince Ryoko to buy food and return to the Yagami, all the money is gone. To alleviate this situation, Ryoko decides to rob the Bank of Jurai…
No Need for a Ghost!:
In the Sea of Sargasso, the Yagami suddenly losses power even though there is no cause for it. At the same time, mysterious things begin to happen inside the ship and ghostly girl comes through Sasami’s window and befriends her. “Would you like to play with me?” it asks her and takes Sasami away into the old abandoned pleasure cruise ship. Meanwhile, the gang is searching for Sasami and enters the ghostly ship and Sasami takes this chance for her, Ryo-Ohki and the ghost girl to play pranks on them. After that, they go off into a world that was created using Sasami’s memories. They all have as much fun as they can have, but all good things comes to an end and the time finally comes for Sasami to return to the Yagami, leaving only fond memories for the ghost girl to keep.
No Need for Runaways!:
While eating at a beef bowl place, The Yagami is stolen by two would be hoodlums. When the Yagami is spotted, every available Galaxy Police vessel begins chasing them down. With the Galaxy Police chasing the Yagami and the rest of the Tenchi gang behind the Galaxy Police, it would take a miracle to get them out of this...that or a super genius!
No Need for Swimsuits!:
The crew have secretly docked in a beach planet and are working secretly to pay the docking fee and parts that Washu needs to repair the Yagami. Ayeka, Ryoko, Sasami, and Tenchi are wandering the beaches selling ice cream, Noboyuki and Grandpa are at a stand selling flavored ice and drinks, and Mihoshi and Kiyone are working as life guards. Suddenly, an announcement is made for a swimsuit competition with the winner receiving 100 million Jurai. All the girls enter in hopes of winning the prize. Of course they didn’t expect Nagi to be competing there as well. When things didn’t go as planned, Ryoko gets mad and decides to steal the prize money instead!
No Need for Knights!:
When the gang is cornered by a Juraian battleship, they head off to a forbidden area under Grandfather Katsuhiko's suggestion. Here, they discover the place where two knights loyal to the one true Juraian Emperor lie and that the key to their awakening lies with Azaka and Kamidake and the Juraian Emperor's powers. Here, the gang is shocked to discover that grandfather Katsuhiko is actually Yosho, the man who is supposed to be sitting in the Juraian throne!
No Need for Karma!:
Resting in the old Jurai villa, Tenchi, Ayeka, and Ryoko try to come to terms with the revelation that grandfather Katsuhiko is actually a long lost legendary Juraian prince. As everyone else decides on what their next move is going to be, the impostor is revealed to be Kagato, an old friend of Yosho's who succumbed to the darker side of the Jurai power and Yosho all alone, is confronted by Kagato. Kagato, having gotten stronger during his banishment, easily defeats and nearly kills Yosho, kidnaps Ayeka and tells the rest to come to his palace...if they can!
No Need for Ryoko!:
Ryoko, still gravely injured from her battle with Kagato, tries to come to terms that Tenchi may be lost forever to her after he has found out that he is actually a Juraian prince. With Nagi aiding them in their quest to get to the Juraian Throne World and the entire Juraian military hunting them down, Ryoko decides to give Tenchi what she believes is best for him and aid him in rescuing Ayeka so that they can live happily ever after. Risking her life for him, Ryoko manages to take Tenchi and the knights Azaka and Kamidake to the Juraian palace. The episode ends with Ryoko dying as Ryo-ohki takes her away.
No Need for a Showdown!:
With Azaka and Kamidake accompanying Tenchi towards his confrontation with Kagato, they sacrifice themselves one by one as they stay behind to face the powerful knights protecting Kagato and trying to prevent Tenchi from reaching the throne room. With the evil knights overpowering both Azaka and Kamidake, it would seem as if they had slept for way too long, but in the end, the win by a narrow margin. In the throne room, Kagato and Tenchi face off with the fate of Ayeka and the entire Juraian empire at stake. Tenchi, losing badly, almost gives up hope and the sight of Tenchi nearing death, causes Ayeka to tap into her Juraian powers to confront Kagato. It proves to be a futile effort on her part however, but just seeing her in danger causes Tenchi to finally tap into the true powers of his heritage-the power of Jurai and that of Earth and uses that to finally defeat Kagato once and for all!
No Need for a Conclusion!:
Kagato is dead and order has been restored throughout the universe once again. Ayeka has once again been restored as the crown princess of Jurai. The Jurain guardians Azaka and Kamidake now live their lives protecting the royal sisters. The log guardians, with the help of Washu has, have successfully been brought back to life. Kiyone and Mihoshi have both been promoted to the rank of Detective Sergeant and now each leads her own division. Washu has been elected as honorary president of the Science Academy and a month later, she was discovered to be trying to invent a weapon that would destroy the universe and was consequently thrown out of the Science Academy. Nagi is still out there chasing Ryoko's shadow. Yosho and Nobuyuki are still living happily. Tenchi went back to school and the time he spent in space has been regarded as excused absence. Ryoko, no one really knows what happened to her...
Tenchi Muyo in Tokyo (TV2 also known as New Tenchi Muyo or Shin Tenchi Muyo)
Tenchi, about to attend a new high school prepares to leave home and go to Tokyo where he will also be trained to take over the shrine from his grandfather. While there, a new girl named Sakuya finds an interest in him. Elsewhere, an ancient princess awakens from her the long slumber forced upon her. Free of her seal, it is time for the world to once again know her wrath. Between this, school, shrine training and keeping Sakuya from being sent to the hospital by the bevy of beauties Tenchi has hidden at home, things may be a little too much for him to handle this time around.
I never really did like this series. By far the worst one in my opinion. I mean, for god's sake, they turned it into an animated sentai series with Ryoko, Ayeka, Kiyone, and Mihoshi destroying the monster of the episode. Some people do like it (mostly people who have never seen the OVA's or the first TV series). It is a TV series that is set in a completely different reality than the other TV series or the OVA's.

Tenchi Muyo the Movie: Tenchi in Love!
The merciless criminal Kain has escaped from sub-space where he has been captured! Kain, who was deprived of his freedom by the Jurai royal family and the GP (Galaxy Police), demolishes GP headquarters and attacked the Jurai King…. His next target is…Earth! Around the same time, on Earth, Tenchi’s house suddenly disappeared. What’s even worse is that Tenchi’s body is disappearing too…! Something must have happened to Achika, Tenchi’s mother, in the past! So the gang must leave for a journey to the year 1970.
(Action/Comedy/Drama/Science-Fiction)
This is the Tenchi movie that I liked most of all amongst the 3 that were made. This movie is based on the story lines of the first TV series (Tenchi Universe here - see above). The basic plot is kinda like Back to the Future, but with Tenchi's mom getting herself murdered by a creature who has hated the Jurai blood line for over a hundred years. Oh, and did I mention that Megumi Hayashibara does the voice of Achika (Tenchi's mom)? A definitive must have DVD, especially since it's only 15 bucks! Go get this one now kiddies! Go, run to the store nearest you that sells anime DVD's!
Tenchi Muyo the Movie 2: Daughter of Darkness (also known as Natsu no Christmas Eve or Midsummer's Christmas Eve)
On a hot summer day, a fetching young girl named Mayuka appears to Tenchi calling him Daddy! Jealousy and envy follow as Ryoko and Ayeka battle for Tenchi’s attention with an apparently new rival. Who could the mother be?! Hiding in the background, Yuzuha, the Demoness of Darkness, is about to get her revenge against Yosho for a grudge held for over 700 years! She begins her plan by using Mayuka to steal Tenchi away to the Dimension of Darkness. So it begins again, Tenchi must fight to save his friends and Mayuka, daughter or not!
(Action/Comedy/Drama/Science-Fiction)
This one is supposed be loosely based on the OVA series. I say loosely based because there are a lot of glaring inconsistencies. For example, Although it is true that Kiyone was introduced in the Mihoshi Special, she never really appeared at all except in flashbacks so how the hell did she just magically appear in here without so much as an explanation? Also, Ayeka doesn't know that Grandpa is her brother (maybe it's just the dubbed version). Another thing is that the powers of the Light Hawk Sword come from Tenchi, so how can being in the world of darkness and away from Jurai trees prevent Tenchi from using it? My least favorite of the three although I do like Mayuka's character. This too is still only 15 bucks so if you are going to buy it, buy it more for the impressive Tenchi dictionary that the DVD comes with!
Tenchi Muyo the Movie 3: Tenchi Forever (also know as Tenchi in Love 2)
Tenchi walks into the mountains and disappears. After searching all over Japan for Tenchi, Ayeka and Ryoko finally locate him in Tokyo where he is now several years older. Tenchi appears to be in a parallel world with a mysterious girl named Haruna, and doesn’t remember Ayeka and Ryoko! What is the mysterious connection between Haruna and Tenchi’s grandfather, Yosho? It’s up to Ayeka and Ryoko to discover what Haruna wants with Tenchi and to rescue him before he disappears forever!
(Drama/Romance/Science-Fiction)
My second favorite Tenchi movie of the three. Some people absolutely hated this because if you are an avid Tenchi watcher, it is hard to get used to the animation style used here (had a friend who refused to watch this just because of the way it looked) and that it doesn't have much action or comedy on it. What it does have is drama-lots of it. That and Ayeka and Ryoko actually working together looking all over Japan for Tenchi. It also resolves which one Tenchi like most of all. It has an excellent, excellent story. If you enjoy Tenchi just for the action and comedy and nothing else, just rent this one, don't buy it. Either way, it is a definite must buy for me.
Trigun
A gunslinger so dangerous, a $$60,000,000,000 reward has been placed on his head! Vash, also known as the Humanoid Typhoon, has been credited with the destruction of several towns, but miraculously, there is no record of him ever taking a life. However, only two things ever happen to those who catch up to Vash- they either crawl away wounded (mostly from self-inflicted damage), or they stagger away in disbelief that such a dork could possibly be the man they are looking for!
(Action/Drama/Comedy)
Trigun is pretty kewl. I loved it instantly! A must watch. Good thing fer you guys is that it's on Adult Swim so you don't even have to go out and spend money on it. The dubbing is pretty durn good (done by Pioneer, er, Geneon, so what do you expect?).
Every single person I've ever talked to who's seen this series absolutely adores it. I've yet to see it, but with such unbridled support for this series, it doesn't look like you can go wrong by adding it to your collection.
The $60,000,000,000 Man:
Vash the Stampede is the most dangerous gunslinger in the planet of Gunsmoke, and Meryl Strife and Milly Thompson of the Bernardelli Insurance Company have been sent out to mitigate the damage that he causes wherever he goes. In order to do that, they have to find him first. Rumor has it that he is a big tall, blonde man with a mohawk, a womanizer with an army of bad guys under his command and if you make him mad, he will begin destroying entire towns on a whim. Meryl and Milly begin their search for the legendary gunman. Now if only that blonde moron in the red trench coat and big shiny silver gun would stop screwing around and get out of their way!
Truth of Mistake:
Rumor has it that the richest man in town who owns the water rights (Planet Gunsmoke being a dessert planet) has hired Vash the Stampede as the body guard for his special guest. Meryl and Milly investigate only to find the same donut snorting idiot from the last time "pretending" to be Vash the Stampede. When they hear that he was hired to keep a blonde man in red with an extremely accurate aim (could it be the REAL Vash the Stampede?), they decide to stick around and hire themselves as body guards as well.
Peace Maker:
Vash looks for a man named Marlowe in a city without any crime at all. Reputed to be a legendary gunsmith, Vash only finds out that he has become a hopeless drunk after the murder of his wife and child with the murderer using a gun that he made and gave to him. Now Vash has to restore Marlowe's faith in humanity and the common good and get him to stop drinking his life away.
Love and Peace:

Hard Puncher:
Vash the Stampede comes across a dying town and its inhabitants decide they could really use the 60,000,000,000 Double Dollar reward on Vash's head! With the entire town gunning after him, Vash decides to run away! With the casualties mounting (due to self infliction), the mayor realizes that they can't capture him by themselves and decides to ask for some help from some rather unsavory characters. Now Vash has to save the town and its citizens from the backup!
Lost July:
The Town has been saved and Vash donates the reward for the capture of the Nebraska Family. Finally, the townspeople have enough money to hire engineers to fix the broken plant and revitalize the town’s economy and save it from becoming a ghost town.
B. D. N.:
Vash takes the train headed for the city of May. Without much action going on in the train, you would think that it's going to be a peaceful ride right? Wrong! Just then the Bad Lads Gang lead by Brilliant Dynamites Neon attacks the train and without Vash helping them all of the train's defenses are easily overcome. Vash wakes up just in time to attempt a rescue of all the passengers from BDN and his gang!
And Between the Wasteland and the Sky:
With the passengers held hostage by the Bad Lads gang, Vash has to make his way through them to reach BDN, their leader. Going through the countless Bad Lads members, Vash gets himself shot in the process before he could reach BDN and challenge him to a duel. With the fame that can be his if he manages to beat the legendary gunman, BDN accepts. If he losses, BDN will stop the train and let everyone go. Now it would be easier if Vash doesn't have to worry about BDN trying to crash the train by driving it into a gorge so that he could break the central safe. Then again, this is Vash the Stampede were talking about so everything will end up just fine, right?
Murder Machine:
We meet Nicholas D. Wolfwood (one kick ass character in here although I've been told that he is completely different in the mangas). On the way to May, the bus is attacked by ancient machines-lost technology designed to eliminate intruders. The robots mindlessly patrol the area that they accidentally wandered into even though there is nothing to patrol there anymore. When they realized that they left a little girl behind, Vash, along with Wolfwood, jumps in for the rescue.
Quick Draw:
In order to help out a single mother struggling to keep her business open, Wolfwood enlists Vash’s help in getting the money by entering him in a quick draw competition. To get back at him, Vash in turn enters Wolfwood in the contest as well. They both do so well that the man who oversees the competition forcibly enlists Wolfwood’s aid in getting the sixty billion double dollar reward on Vash’s head. With Wolfwood as his opponent, Vash is going to have a hard time getting out of this situation.
Escape From the Pain:
Vash has taken a contract to kill. Millie and Wolfwood befriends a pair of runaway lovers who just happens to be Vash’s target. Will Millie, Meryl and Wolfwood be enough to stop Vash from carrying out his assignment?
Diablo:
Vash gets a visit from a man who calls himself Legato Bluesummers and tells him that he has come for his life. When the head of a murdered man that Vash recently visited is found near Vash, he is immediately arrested for murder. Sitting in jail, Vash is visited by Meryl and Milly when a heavily armed man comes to town looking for Vash. The man, Monev deGale, has been given orders to terminate Vash with his freedom as the reward and will do anything to kill him. When Vash just keeps running away, he begins destroying pieces of the town itself and an enraged Vash must put a stop to his rampage.
Vash the Stampede:
Meryl and Milly type up their report on all incidents including Vash the Stampede that they have witnessed. Included in the report are incidents from Dankin town, to the train incident with Brilliant Dynamites Neon, to Monev deGale. As she is typing up the report, Meryl just can’t help but wonder why so much trouble keeps falling into Vash’s lap. Why is it that trouble keeps on looking for him, even though he doesn’t seem to be the bloodthirsty killer that he is believed to be nor does he seem to be the kind of man who would level an entire city?
Little Arcadia:
An oasis in the midst of a desert planet is a rarity in itself. One could almost say that it is a paradise within a hellish land of sand. Greedy people naturally covet it and when a couple who has spent years cultivating the land into the desert paradise it now is, Meryl and Milly gets involved (to keep Vash from getting involved and causing another incident). What's worse is that one of the bad people turned out to be the couple's own son. In a struggle of moral proportions, the son finally sides with his parents and takes the deed of the land to the bank to have it notarized. There, he finds out that his parents have named him as the owner of the land and have entrusted the future to him.

Fifth Moon:
After leaving Meryl and Milly behind, Vash is trying to find Legato and put a stop to his murderous rampage. He then receives a challenge and demand from Legato-be at Augusta, one of the seven great cities, or everyone else will die! While in there, he is faced with two members of the Gung-Ho Guns. Not only that, but Legato and Hornfreak are watching their battle from the outskirts of the city. At the last moment, Legato decides to step in by activating Vash's angel arms- the fearsome ability that wiped out July years ago. In an instance, Augusta is reduced to rubbles and the power of the angel arms creates a whole in the surface of the fifth moon!
Rem Saverem:
Years ago, there was a colonial ship that came from Earth. There, two young ordinary seeming boys lived and worked with the crew of the ship as they search the universe for a habitable world to unload their cargo of people in suspended animation. They are Vash and Knives. With a woman named Rem Saverem taking care of them, their days seem happy enough, but they know that there is something wrong. Some of the crew treat them differently than Rem and Knives begin to draw his own conclusion about himself, Vash, and the rest of the crew. When one incident between two of the crewmembers happens, things begins to go wrong. Rem leaves Vash and Knives in an escape pod as she tries to salvage as much of the ship and their cargo of humans as possible. As the ship blows up around them, Vash learns that it was Knives that caused all of it.
Goodbye For Now:
It has been a while since Augusta has been destroyed (2 years according to the manga) and Vash is now living peacefully in a small town where no one knows him. Of course the town also happens to be under the control of a fearsome bandit-a man with a large hand cannon and a blonde mohawk, a man they call Vash the Stampede. I guess it is a good thing that Wolfwood has just arrived in town looking for Vash. When Lina, the 12 year old girl he is living with is kidnapped by "Vash the Stampede," it's up to the real Vash and Wolfwood to rescue her.
Hang Fire:
In a town where there have been a feud between two powerful rival families going on for years now, Vash, visiting a friend gets involved when the station he works for, owned by one of the family is hijacked by the rival family. Vash must now attempt to subdue all the hijackers without harming them or allowing them to harm the hostages. Things aren't always as simple though, when one of the hijackers refuses to stop or allow Vash to interfere with mission to avenge his innocent daughter caught in the feud just because of her family name.
Flying Ship:
With the help of the typhoon, Vash returns to a home of sorts. The last flying ship powered by Plants and hidden from the rest of the world by clouds of dust and sand. There, Vash returns to the place he has called home for the past few decades. The people there are filled with suspicions about Wolfwood who has decided to tag along. Refusing all contact with the outside world, they have closed themselves off - not only their homes, but their hearts as well. When the ship is attacked, their doubt is seemingly justified. Unfortunately, it is far worse than that. They are being attacked by not just one, but three members of the Gung-Ho Guns!
Out of Time:

Alternative:
Vash, Wolfwood, Meryl, and Milly are traveling the world again and this time they end up in an orphanage with nothing but…orphans. When something strange occurs in the nearby town, the townspeople decide to go after them and the orphans.
Paradise:
As the rift between Wolfwood and Vash continues to widen, Wolfwood's mentor, one of the Gung-Ho Guns named Chapel, contacts him and orders him to take out Vash in the name of Knives. Bearing the difficult decision of betraying his mentor or betraying his friend, Wolfwood agonizes over it and with Milly's help, finds his answer. As Wolfwood warns Vash and takes on his mentor, Vash is ambushed and takes on another of the Gung-Ho guns-a sniper called Caine the Longshot.
Sin:
After the death of Wolfwood, Vash leaves behind both Meryl and Milly and heads of for parts unknown. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't get a chance to mourn the loss of his friend before the last two of the Gung-Ho Guns attack him one after another. Midvalley the Hornfreak attacks him first and starts using the citizens of the town as hostage/target practice with the help of Legato. When Vash finally manages to defeat Midvalley, he still has Legato Bluesummers to deal with. During their confrontation, Legato forces him to make a terrible decision-kill him to save everyone and break his vow or choose his vow over the lives everyone else.
Live Through:
Meryl and Milly try to help Vash deal with his own self doubts and the sin that he had committed. They work in a small town all the while helping Vash recover both physically and mentally. The three of them spend peaceful days in a sleepy town as Milly works enough for all three of them, Vash retreats even deeper into himself and Meryl tries even harder to pull Vash out of his shell. It remains that way until someone identifies Vash as the Humanoid Typhoon who destroyed two of the great cities of Planet Gunsmoke and causes everyone else in town to form a mob trying to lynch Vash. Meryl defiantly stands against the mob and her action finally gives Vash the answer and the courage to live on.
Under the Sky so Blue:
Vash finally leaves Meryl and Milly to face his brother, Knives, and put an end to all things - the entirety of their lives from the very beginning of men living on the Planet Gunsmoke to their present day. The final showdown comes in the form of Vash and Knives in a gunfight unlike any other. Carrying Wolfwood's cross into the battle, Vash fights with a clarity and willingness he never had before.
True Love Story
(Romantic Drama)
This is based on a PS2 dating sim game. The story itself is average. The character designs are, well, nothing spectacular. An ok show for watching just once or so though.
Story 1:
Yuuta is an average high school student living out his high school days with his buddy, Momochi, from the photo club. Hina is a girl in the tennis club who has a slight crush on him although he doesn't seem to realize it though. When Hina injures herself one day, she couldn't practice and goes home early. When she and a teacher runs into Yuuta on the way out of school, the teacher asks him to walk her home. On the way there, by the sea, she asks him if he will go with her to the sea festival to which he turns her down saying that he has something very important to do on that day. The next day, Ruri, Yuuta's sister drags him away to meet someone. That someone turned out to be Yako, a childhood friend of theirs. They didn't realize that she and they are in the same school. Hina sees them and runs away thinking that he already has someone important so that she doesn't have any chance at all.
Story 2:
Ruri drags Yuuta to go shopping with her and Yako for swimsuits. After shopping, she decides for him that they will all go together at the public pool. Why else would they buy swimsuits if not to go swimming in them. In a cafe, when Ruri leaves the two of them alone, Yako makes a comment on how everyone seems to be going crazy about the sea festival. Yuuta tells her that he's probably the only one who is not since he has something important to do that day. When Yako doubts him, he gets mad and leaves them. At the pool, Yuuta is surprised to find that Arimori, one of the school's idols is going with them. After the pool, they run into Hina who runs away when she sees them thinking that he is on a date. At school the next day, Yuuta runs into the weird girl from the bikini shop again while killing time until he meets up with Yako. Meeting Yako, they go to a scenic spot where Yako seems to be trying to tell him something, but can't. Elsewhere, Hina promises herself and her crocodile doll that she will go to the festival with Yuuta no matter what.
Story 2:
Hina spends an entire afternoon trying to find Yuuta so that she can have lunch with him. At the same time, Yuuta looses his lunch and is wandering around hungry. Just when the two of them are about to meet, Ruri and Arimori comes along with some food and shares it with him. Waiting for him at the gate after school, she still manages to walk home with him. Seeing a balloon stuck to the tree, Yuuta climbs it and falls off. He laughs it off saying that he isn't as good at it anymore to which Hina replies that he was really good when he was a kid. In the end, she isn't able to ask him again and on the day of the festival, Hina goes with Yoko, her best friend as Yuuta and Ruri goes to visit their mother's grave. On the way there, he finally realizes what Hina means and realizes that she is the girl he used to play with when he was little. After getting home, he finds a handmade postcard from Hina inviting him to the festival with her and he rushes off to the beach to find her. He manages to find her and that is where he tells her that he remembers now. Hina then confesses her feelings for him and he accepts them in return.
Tsukuyomi
(Action/Comedy)
Onii-sama, Be my Servant:
Kou is an occult magazine photographer. He is on and assignment with Hiromi, his editor and an Onmyou mystic named Midou Seiji to take pictures of a German castle called Schwarze Quelle (Black Lake) that is supposed to be haunted by the ghost of countless souls who died there during the black plague. Interested in capturing a picture of the little girl he saw through his camera lens, he goes there with his co-workers and enters the castle ground looking for her. When he finds her, she introduces herself as Hazuki and she has been waiting for him. Promising to let him take pictures of her, she demands to first give him a "gift." Attempting to kiss him, she is stooped by Vigo, someone who seemed to be a servant at first, but turns out to be something more. Seiji's interference from outside the castle is the only thing that spares Kou's life as Hazuki quickly seizes the chance and gives him a vampiric kiss.
Call Me Master:
As Seiji fights Vigo, Hazuki is surprised to find out that her vampiric kiss did not turn Kouhei into a servant and he refuses to break the crystal that imprisons her in the castle. As they are arguing why Kou should break the crystal, Vigo notices them and has revealed that he is also part of the castle and started using the castle to attack Kou for trying to run off with Hazuki, whom he calls Luna. This allows Hazuki to blackmail Kou into helping her. As long as she is by his side, Vigo can't attack him and if he doesn't break the crystal, she'll leave Kou to fend for himself. Left with no choice, Kou goes with Hazuki to break the crystal as Vigo chases them around while Seiji fights Vigo outside the castle wall as well. When Kou reached the crystal, a dragon appears to protect it. When Kou manages to hit the crystal with a rock, the Vigo that Seiji is fighting flickered for a moment and Seiji realizes that it is not the real Vigo that he is fighting and redirects his effort towards the source of power, giving Kou a chance to break the crystal. Afterwards, Hazuki disappears and Kou returns home with everyone else. Much to his dismay, he finds that Hazuki is waiting for him in his house with his grandpa when he gets there.
Big Brother, Let's Live Together, Okay?:
Hazuki, living with Kouhei and his grandpa got into an argument when she was asked what she wanted to do now that she has been freed from the castle. When she said that she wanted to find her mother that promised to take her back two years ago, Kou got mad and said that she had been abandoned and Hazuki stormed out. When dawn began to arrive, Kou started feeling guilty and went out to look for her. When they met again, Kou promised to help Hazuki find her mother and the two of them went on a road trip with Hazuki stuffed into the cramped trunk of the car to keep her from bursting into flames. When they finally reached the place where Hazuki used to live, they found it abandoned. About to loose hope, Hazuki noticed a cat and followed it to the lake. There Hazuki's mother's spirit appeared before them and Hazuki and her mother finally are able to have a reunion. Afterwards, Hazuki’s mother entrusted her daughter to Kou and the two of them drive off as an ominous figure watches Hazuki from a distance.
Big Brother, I Feel Like a Kiss:
Hazuki, now living with Kou and his grandpa, also works at night minding the family store and doing chores around the house. She has proven to be quite popular with the customers, particularly the guys. With the custom made uniform Kou's grandpa made and the cat ears that she always wear, is it a small wonder that she is so popular? During the day, she sleeps under the house in an enclosed compartment. All this time, the strange woman that has been sent to retrieve her and take her back to Quelle Schwarze has been watching her and Kou's activities and waiting for the full moon. When the full moon came, Hazuki began feeling the urge for blood and tried to get it from Kou. When Kou wouldn't let her suck his blood like a good servant should, she storms off looking for a fresh victim. Kou lets her go off on her own until he realized what she was about to do and gets himself into a fight with a couple of guys that Hazuki was intending to be her new servants. After beating them up for kicking Kou's butt, Hazuki is confronted by the strange woman who has been secretly stalking her.
Big Brother, Full-Full-Full Moon:
Elfriede, caretaker of Quelle Schwarze castle, has finally revealed herself and requests that Hazuki, whom she calls Mistress Luna, to return to the castle. When Hazuki refused, Elfriede decides to use force to return her to the castle and transforms her mouse familiar into a monster and attacks Hazuki. When the monster gets knocked into the unconscious Kou, it just disappears in a burst of light and Elfriede stops her attack. When Kou wakes up, he is immediately entranced by Elfriede and asks her to be his model which makes Hazuki mad and the two immediately start arguing, which led Elfriede to believe that Kou is not a servant, but a vampiric lover. Elfriede then retreats, telling Hazuki that she will return in a couple of days. Later on, while attending the store, Elfriede shows up at the store to agree to Kou's offer which makes Hazuki even madder and she begins throwing a tantrum, breaking most of the stuff in the store. Elfriede then leaves once again with her suspicion confirmed that Kou is no mere servant. He is a vampiric lover, an Ama Lamia, and the key to her own freedom...
With Big Brother in Kyoto...Heh, Exciting, Exciting!:
Kouhei, his grandpa, Hazuki, Hiromi and Seiji are headed for the Midou main house in Kyoto. There, Hazuki meets Hikaru Midou, Seiji's arranged fiancé and her younger sister, Kaoru, Kou's arranged fiancé. The two of them are trained to be spiritualists and sparks fly instantly upon meeting Hazuki because she's an "evil demon" as well as someone trying to take Kou away from Kaoru. While Kou's grandpa and Seiji asks the head of the Midou house for some help in saving Haiji, the cat Hazuki received from her mother as it is the only link to Kou's mother's whereabouts, Kou and Hazuki are out buying souvenirs after getting paid for a job with Hiromi. While shopping, they run across Elfriede again and she manages to slip Kou a piece of paper before being chased away by Hazuki. When Kou tried to meet her, Hazuki is waiting for him and he had to run away from her while in the shadows, Hikaru and Kaoru, suspicious of Hazuki, follows them. When Kou meets Elfriede, she sucks his blood believing that it can set her free. When Hazuki manages to find him, Hikaru and Kaoru are right behind her and thinks that she has harmed him and begins to attack. The battle takes a long and Hazuki and Elfriede doesn't notice the sun rising. Fortunately, Haiji, newly replenished, arrives to save her with the help of Kou, Seiji, and Kou's grandpa. In the end, they explain everything to the sisters as they leave for Tokyo with Elfriede in the shadows commenting how she envies Mistress Luna and how free she is unlike her.
But I Wanted It!:
After having returned to Tokyo from Kyoto, everything is setting back to normal. Kouhei is secretly having Hiromi look for Hazuki's mom and at the same time, Hazuki is complaining of neck pains because she is used to sleeping in a bed instead of a futon. Not being able to use the evil eye on Kouhei and his grandpa, Hazuki instead uses it on Hiromi when she comes by to drop some more clothes for her. Later on, Hazuki has another encounter with Elfriede. After requesting that she return to the castle once more, Elfriede bares her soul to Hazuki and tells her how jealous she is of her. Being a Lude, a vampire made, instead of being born as one, she isn't allowed to have that same freedom, nor does she have any friends. Afterwards, Kouhei gets home to find that Hazuki has used the evil eye on Hiromi and they get into an argument about Hazuki using her powers on people to get what she wants instead of just asking for it. As Hazuki tries her hand at getting something from Hiromi by just asking, Kouhei gets another job to pay Hiromi for the bed. When Hiromi finds Hazuki, she is sulking, believing that she can't get anything from anyone without using her powers. Hiromi picks her up and shows her where Kouhei is working in order to pay for the bed, even though she has told him that she doesn't want any payment for it.
Mother Came For Me! I'm so Happy!:
Count Kinkel has personally come to retrieve Hazuki by using the exhibition of his collection as a cover. Meanwhile, Hazuki and Kou are on the rooftop looking through Kou's telescopic camera lens when Kou recognized Hazuki's mother. Hazuki and Haiji immediately run towards her, leaving Kou behind. When Kou and his grandpa, Ryuhei finally get there, Hazuki is gone and Haiji is passed out on the road. Suddenly, Hazuki's mother appears before them and informs them that it was merely an illusion to trap Hazuki because her real flesh had been destroyed long ago and that the one who kidnapped Hazuki, Count Kinkel, may know something about Haiji. Reaching the building and unable to get a hold of Seiji, Ryuhei and Kou storms through the building and splits up to find Hazuki. While Ryuhei is confronted by Elfriede, Kou is attacked by Vigo who has been partially revived by the count. As Kou runs away from Vigo, he runs into Ryuhei and Elfriede. Elfriede seemingly attacks Kou, but instead kills Vigo a second time. She then sucks Kou's blood and explains that the first time that she has sucked Kou's blood, it set her free from her master's spell. This time, it just might give her the strength to kill him and free herself permanently.
Big Brother, Free me from my Dream:
Elfriede and Ryuhei confronts Count Kinkel as decoys while Kou runs to where Hazuki is to rescue her. Reaching the room where she is, a barrier of vines suddenly appear to keep anyone from waking her. As Kou struggles to set her free, Hazuki dreams of her mother. Her mother keeps on telling her that her true name is Luna and that Hazuki should fade away once she gazes at the full moon. When the time for Hazuki to awaken arrived, Count Kinkel immediately overpowers Elfriede and Ryuhei and rushes to where Hazuki is who is now under a spell as Luna. Under Count Kinkel's command, Hazuki as Luna, attacks Kou and sucks his blood which sets her free. This causes confusion in the count's part which allows Seiji, who has just arrived, to combine his power with Ryuhei and drive Count Kinkel away, but not before he takes Elfriede away with him. As Kou is rushed to the hospital due to life threatening wounds that has been inflicted on him, Count Kinkel realizes that he is a vampire's lover, a being that could upset the vampiric hierarchy and vows to kill him the next time their paths cross.
Ill Never Forgive You...Especially Since You're My First Servant!:
Kou is in the hospital being operated on by the doctors in an effort to save his life. Outside, Seiji places the blame on Hazuki for what has happened even though Ryuhei keeps on telling him that Count Kinkel is to blame. Back in the house, Hazuki reminisces about her time with Kou and blames herself for what has happened, while the presence of Luna continue to haunt her. Arriving at the hospital to see how Kou is doing, she meets Hikaru and Kaoru who has come from Kyoto to see how Kou is doing. Visiting Kou after his operation, Hazuki notices a shadow of death surrounding Kou. Seiji, Ryuhei, Hikaru, and Kaoru decides to perform a lengthy ritual to try and drive the shadow of death away. Seiji, however, refuses to let Hazuki in, whom, he blames for everything. While the ritual is performed, Hazuki is outside being tormented by the presence of Luna when her mother's voice manifests itself and comforts her while telling her of a way to save Kou. Arriving just as the ritual is about to fail, Hazuki kisses Kou and gives him some of her life force in the process. After catching up to him, they find out that he has been faking his injuries as well and walks out into the sunlight again to keep Hazuki from attacking him. Twin Signal
Robotics expert Dr. Otoi built Signal to be a powerful companion for his young grandson, Nobuhiko. However, a mishap during Signal's programming led to an unexpected glitch. Every time Nobuhiko sneezes, Signal transforms from a temperamental adult robot into an adorable, chocolate-loving little baby. Despite this little problem, days are usually happy and fun around the Otoi household, where robots, people and animals live in harmony. Except for the occasional feud over the house cleaning chores or the affections of the female robot Elara, everything is relatively peaceful. However, one day Signal is attacked by Pulse, one of the Doctor's previous creations and the prototype for Signal. Despite being critically nearsighted, Pulse is loaded with weapons and has been reprogrammed by Dr. Otoi's mysterious rival. He's on a mission to steal the most recent robot technology and obliterate anything that gets in his way.-
(Action/Comedy)
I didn't really like this one. It pretty much bored me to tears. The plot is so generic and there is almost no character development. Just your standard two humanoid robots duking it out with a small amount of hi-jinx thrown in. Totally boring in my opinion.

Of course, this means a problem to everyone from Valhalla since Inarva has always been stiff and inflexible in her depiction of the rules as it is written in the book of law that she has.

At the same time, Nina has something to tell her as well.

Umi ga Kikoeru (I can Hear the Ocean)
As Morisaki is traveling back to Kochi and is about to meet his friends from high school in a reunion, his thoughts drift back to those days he spent with his friends. Mostly, he remembers Matsuno and Moto. He and Matsuno became friends after they had met each other while protesting the cancellation of their field trip in Junior High. From then, they became friends. Around the time that high school came for them, a new student transfers in from Tokyo. Moto is not only a beautiful girl, but smart as well, although a bit socially inept. Matsuno instantly fall in love with her and constantly tells him about it. He, on the other hand is just mildly curious about her in the beginning. Then came the trip to Hawaii when he and Moto first had an actual conversation. She had lost her money and borrowed some from him because she and Matsuno had seen him working and Matsuno told her how hard he works to save up some money. After getting back from their trip, time passed on as Moto seems to have forgotten about the debt and have actually made friends with another girl whom she is now constantly with while in school. One day, during Golden Week, === calls him saying that Moto has hijacked her from going into a concert to going to Tokyo to see her father. Going there to talk some sense into her, Moto refuses to budge, and he ends up going with her to Tokyo to meet her father whom she was seeing for personal reasons as well as to get money to pay him back. While there, she realizes that her father doesn't care much about him and that people that she used to know there aren't really what she thought they were. Returning back home, they stopped talking once more and time passes on while rumors about them going to Tokyo together began to spread. Matsuno tells him about the rumors and how he had confessed her love for him. She turned him down in the harshest way and Morisaki gets mad and confronts her about it. After a while, the three of them started to grow more distant as Moto began to concentrate more on her studies and refuses to participate in any social events. During the final school festival, Moto is being confronted by all the girls in her class about her behavior as Morisaki listens on. Making himself known after it was over, Moto gets mad at him again and slaps him then runs away. Matsuno shows up just in time to see Moto running away and asks what that was all about. Telling him what had happened, Matsuno gets mad at him and punches in him and since then, the three of them had not spoken to one another. Now, after years had passed, their graduating class is about to get reunited once more. Morisaki meets up with Matsuno and the two of them catches up as Matsuno asks for his forgiveness for that punch so long ago, telling him that he got mad at him because he had held back his own feelings for Moto all because of him. In the reunion familiar, but older faces meets once more as Morisaki, Matsuno, +++ (the girl who led most of the confrontation against Moto) wonders if Moto will show up. When === arrives, she tells him that she had met Moto earlier and that she was on her way to Tokyo to meet someone important to her. Morisaki instantly realizes that she was trying to see him again and that they had missed their chance once more. On the way back, waiting for the train, Morisaki sees Moto waiting on the other side and he runs to get there. There he looks for her and finds her waiting for him as all the years peels back for the two of them.
(Drama)
Made by Studio Ghibli (which gives it the seal of being a very good film), it is the bitter-sweet memories of youth and the regrets of chances never taken and loves lost to time. Beautiful scenery, believable characters and realistic plot development makes this a plus for any collection. Get this if you can, even if you have to go way out of your way to do so - it's that good!

One her last day of shcool as vacation closes in on them, they clean up the old abandoned school building and Ichika finds a stange mirror. The mirror's reflection suddenly warps and the girl from her dreams appears before her in the mirror. Pulling her into the world of the mirror that is a reflection of our world - the world of the djinn, she is given the ability to use the power of the spirits and summon the djinns 12 times. This is an ability that is hers to use...or abuse however she likes. As she uses them, she begins to feel a growing darkness within her slowly slowly slithering its way to the surface.
(Magic Girl)
I think of it as a darker reversed version of Carcaptor Sakura where instead of Sakura having to catch all of them, it's Ichika having to use all of them. Ichika is forced to deal with many painful things all at once as she begins to use them. Most of these deals with aspects of human nature. An interesting twelve part series, it is worth seeing at least once.

Ichika is an average middle school girl who has been having strange dreams as of late. She dreams of a girl she has never seen before who bids her farewell, and calls her "the other me." Cleaning the old school building, Ichika accidentally leaves her cell phone behind and goes back to retrieve it. Heading in the room with the large, supposedly cursed mirror, she quickly finds the phone through the mirror's reflection, but when she turns around, the phone is not where it should be she looks again at the mirror to see that it is where she saw it. Suddenly, the reflection starts to warp and the girl in her dreams shows up claiming to be the "other her." She extends her hands and pulls Ichika through the mirro r where she is able to retrieve the cell phone and finds that the charm that her beloved tutors gave her has changed appearance. With the change in appearance, she is given the ability to use the powers of the spirits 12 times. Going back through mirror, she heads back home with Manatsu, the girl in the mirror in tow.

Later on, while doing her own summer homework, she gets an e-mail from him and they talk outside as he treats her. When she and Manatsu tries to leave because he was being a bit too pushy, he becomes enraged and starts chasing them. Running to the park instead of home to keep him from finding where they live, he catches up to them, but finds that Miki has caught up to them when she figures that something fishy is going on. They start arguing which becomes a physical argument and Ichika runs off again and uses the power of Luna, the moon spirit to illuminate the night and get people to notice them. There Kai, one of her tutors shows up and deals with the situation which is resolved when they realize that he and Miki just had a slight misunderstanding.

The next day, when it is Kai's turn to tutor her, he comes in at noon when Saya is working at Ichika's request to Sei the previous day. Still feeling jealous of Saya, she asks him to go outside instead of being where they can see Saya's house. Going by train, they spot Michiru's little sister with a boy and she decides to not go with them and leave her little sister alone. There, they go through all the romantic hotspots and meets Michiru's little sister at the shrine famed as a place of romantic requests. Going through yet another place where lovers put their names on a lock and leave it chained there, Satsuki finds one with the names Nozomu and Minami in it and reasures herself that it is just someone with the same name as Nozomu. Unfortunately, her suspicions were correct when they discover Nozomu there on a date with a girl named Minami. Feeling all alone, Ichiko withdraws even more into herself and nearly jumps off a cliff when the charm that Sei gave her refuses to leave her side. The only thing that saved her is Manatsu managing to catch her in time. The next day, they go to a buddhist shrine where Ichika's parents have talk with the monk in there. They tell him that it would seem as if the dream that they had 16 years ago has come ture. during that time, before Ichika was born, they had a dream of a girl in the beach asking them that should they ever have a child, if that child were to bring home a friend during summer, they must treat that child as if she were also their own child. Having realized that her destiny was written for her even before she was born, Ichika freaks out and activated the powers of the djinn of darkness without thinking. Natsumi fear is unfounded though as the power doesn't rage out of control, but instead summons the spirits of the dead allowing her dead grandmother and pet dog to give her comfort and ease. There, Ichika is still her depressed looking self and Michiru asks her what is wrong with her and that if it has anything to do with Manatsu since she has been acting strange ever since she has shown up at the beginning of summer. When this happened, she begins to feel herself getting taken over by the power of the djinn once more and is tranformed by the power of the ocean djinn and nearly causes a tidal wave to destroy the town. Trying to stop the tidal wave, Ichika throws herself into the path and is swallowed up by it. Manatsu, against the "rules" that Saya enforces, jumps in to her rescue and saves her as the wave dissipates. Having violated the rules, Saya puts her to sleep to keep her from interfering anymore.
:
Having returned home with an unconscious Manatasu with some help from Michiru, Ichika finally realizes that they house next door that Saya lives in is an empty lot that is for sale. Saya never lived there and only appeared at the beginning of summer and made look like she has lived there for a very long time. Going inside, Ichika discovers the mirror and Sei in his petrified state. Saya then appears before her and reveals to her that she is the twelfth djinn - the djinn of today who reflects the world. She puts him to the same test that she had done to Sei six years earlier and asks her to choose, either destroy humanity or destroy herself. The djinn whose powers flowed through her was a test. There are seven virtues that when turned inside out and corrupted, becomes the seven sins of humanity and Saya, having had Ichika experience them all wants to force her to make a decision on which one should be saved. When she refuses to sacrifice either, the way that Sei did six years ago, Saya tries to kill her, but Manatsu and Kai, both a fragment of Saya, and Sei interferes. Sacrificing themselves for their respective partners, they return to being mere fragments of a mirror and Saya is unable to do anything to Ichika anymore. Having awoken up, Ichika has made a resolve to be left behin in Japan with her friends with her parents having moved to Italy due to her fathers job.
