Android 8
Originally created by Dr. Gero as a guard for Red Ribbon, but Android 8 befriended Goku instead. From then on, he became known as Hatchan. Hatchan appeared at the end of the Boo Series again and donated energy to Goku in the final fight against Boo.

Android 13
(From Movie 7) One of the androids Dr. Gero was working on when he got killed by Android 17. Android 13 set out to destroy Goku and fused with the shattered parts of Androids 14 and 15 to become a bigger stronger being. (Killed by Goku) Android 14

Peaceful android created and stored by Dr. Gero but unleashed by Androids 17 and 18. He fought and got destroyed by Cell, but was repaired and reprogrammed into a Z warrior by Bulma. In the second battle, Android 16 was killed again, but his death triggered Gohan to reach SSJ2 mode for the first time.

Android 17
In Trunks' future #17 and #18 terrorize earth and kill all of the Z warriors. This is minor though because Trunks manages to survive and travels back in time to to warn the Z fighters. #17 wears a Red Ribbon jersey, torn jeans, and a yellow scarf. He is killed when Cell consumes him.

Android 18
Android #18 is first bad and is #17's partner. She is consumed by Cell but is spit back out. She then becomes good. She is wished human and marries Kuririn (Krillin). They have a girl named Marron.

Android 19
Fat android created by Dr. Gero. Specialty: ability to absorb energy from opponents (Killed by Vegeta)

Android 20
When Dr. Gero didn't like his body and wanted more power he re-built him self as a cyborg. He was later betrayed by Android 17 and then killed.

Artificial 17
Android created by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu in hell. He escaped through a portal into the land of the living (Earth) and fused with Android 17 to become Super 17.

Burta
Tall muscular dark blue member of Team Ginyu. Specialty: super speed (killed by Goku)

Babi-di
Evil little magician who plotted to destroy the world for the fun of it. He re-unleashed Boo but got into an argument with Boo that cost him his life. (Killed by Boo)

Baby (Bebi)
Surviving Tsufuru-jin when the Saiyans took over his home planet, Plant. He attempted to take revenge by slowly turning Earth's inhabitants into his zombies (who later returned to normal after Dende and Mr. Popo sprayed them with a special water). He also recreated his planet with the dragonballs and took over Vegeta's body to become Bebi-Vegeta. (Killed by Goku)

Bardock
(From Bardock Story) Goku's and Radditz's father. Cursed by an alien whose planet he helped destroy, he foresaw the destruction of his planet and tried to save it, but was no match for Freeza. (Killed by Freeza)

Bibi-di
Father of Babi-di. Although he appeared only in a flashback, this little evil magician is the creator of Buu. Bojack
(From Movie 9) space pirate. He wrecked a Tenkaichi Boudoukai tournament in an attempt to take over the Earth, but was defeated by Gohan. (Killed by Gohan)

Buu
Created by Bibi-di for destruction. He defeated most of the Kaiou-shins and was cursed into his fat form. Years later, he was unleashed again by Babi-di and sent to destroy Earth. Buu went through various form changes (after absorbing good Buu, SSJ3 Gotenks, Mystic Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegetto) and even split into two beings. Fat Buu joined the good guys. The evil Original Buu was killed by Goku and reincarnated into Ubuu.

Bra
Daughter of Vegeta and Bulma; resembles a young pecky Bulma and does almost nothing but shop.

Broly (Burori) (Broli) (Brolly)
(From Movie 8) Super Saiyan born on the same day as Goku; possesses natural hatred toward Goku. As a baby, he was sent for execution by King Vegeta (who feared Brolly's awesome power), but survived. Years later, he encountered Goku again and went in a rampage. He beat everyone, but was eventually overwhelmed by Goku. (From Movie 10) survived Goku's victory and crashed on Earth; loses sanity again. He was killed by a fireball combination of Goku,

Gohan, and Goten. (From Movie 11) became a clone created from the DNA samples of his blood. The clone was unstable and trashed the laboratory that created him. (Destroyed by hardening in water)

Bulma (Buruma)
Teen technological expert in search of the dragonballs to wish for a boyfriend. In her journey, she met the Dragonball cast. As an adult, she became the wife of Vegeta and mother of Trunks and Bra. In DragonBall GT, she built the brute ray and enabled Vegeta to reach Oazuru form and Super level 4.

Cell (Seru)
(Android 21) Created by Dr. Gero. He was completed in Future Trunks' timeline. Cell killed Future Trunks, stole his time machine, and traveled back in time to absorb Androids 17 and 18 to reach perfect form. The Z warriors defeated him, but he sacrificed himself in an attempt for a final victory by triggering the bombs in his body (Goku teleported Cell to explode in Kaiou's planet to save the Earth), but regenerated from a single surviving brain cell. At the end, he is killed by Gohan. In hell, he allied with Freeza in an attempt to take over the Nether regions, but stopped by Goku and Paiku-han. Later, he was upgraded by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu and allied with Freeza again to fight Goku, but was defeated once again by Goku.

Cell Jr.
Little blue replica (7 in all) of Cell. (All 7 killed by Gohan)

Chao-tsu (Chaos)
In Dragonball Movie 3, he was the young emperor of Mifan. In the series, he was a student of Tsuru-sennin. He and Tenshin-han discovered that their master was evil and abandoned him. Chao-tsu sacrificed himself in battle against Nappa, but was revived from a wish with the Namek dragonballs.

Chi-Chi
Daughter of Ox King. She married Goku and bore two sons, Gohan and Goten. Chi-Chi was turned into an egg and squashed by Boo, but revived with a wish from the dragonballs.

Chii-Shenlong
Evil dragon of the 7 star dragonball. Specialty: ability to absorb and control other creatures. It was born when Bulma used the dragonballs to revive the people killed by Majin-Vegeta. (Killed by Goku)

Cold (King Cold)
Father of Freeza and Coola. He gathered the damaged parts of Freeza and "repaired" him. (Killed by Future Trunks)

Coola (Coora)
(From Movie 5) watched his brother Freeza destroy Planet Vegeta and let baby Goku fly to Earth in a Saiyan space capsule without interference (Thinking that it was part of Freeza's plan). Upon learning about his brother's death, he landed on Earth for revenge, but was blown into the sun by Goku's fireball. (From Movie 6) merged with an alien spaceship floating in space. He attempted to conquer Planet Namek, but was defeated once again. (Killed by Goku)

Dai-Kaioushin
Elder Kaioushin. He watches the universe through a crystal ball. Dai-Kaioushin helped Gohan enter his Mystic form and sacrificed his own life to revive Goku to fight Buu.

Daimao (Demon King)
Evil form of Kami. Split himself again into Daimao (himself) and Piccolo. (Killed by Goku)

Darbura
Satanic partner of Babi-di. He turned Krillin and Piccolo into stone (his curse was lifted when he died). Like his partner, he and was betrayed and killed by Buu. (Killed by Buu)

Dende
Young Namek who became the new guardian of the Earth when Kami fused with Piccolo. As guardian of the dragonballs, Shenlong can grant him 3 wishes instead of 1. Specialty: healer

Dodoria
Fat pink left-hand man of Freeza. This brainless goon was responsible for killing Bardock's crew. (Killed by Vegeta)

Dr. Gero
Evil engineer of Red Ribbon. He developed a hatred towards Goku since Goku destroyed Red Ribbon. He devoted the rest of his life trying to destroy Goku by creating a number of androids to do the job, but was betrayed and killed by Android 17. In hell, he allied with Dr. Myuu to create Artificial 17. 17 betrayed and killed him once again. (Killed by Android 17/ Super 17)

Dr. Myuu
Evil scientist who created a number of robots and mutant androids (including Gill). His laboratory and creations were destroyed by Goku, Trunks, and Pan. He himself was betrayed and killed by Baby, who he rescued from space. In hell, he allied with Dr. Gero to create Artificial 17. After escaping to Earth, he ordered Super 17 to kill Dr. Gero. Super 17 eventually grew annoyed of Dr. Myuu and killed him. (Killed by Baby/Super 17)

Dr. Raichi
(From OVA special) survived the destruction of his planet that was destroyed by the Saiyans under Freeza's orders. He plotted revenge and created mutant monsters, including Hatchhyack, which were all killed by the Saiyan warriors. (Killed by the Saiyans' fireballs)

Dr. Wheelo
(From Movie 2) evil scientist whose laboratory caved in on him. His giant brain was preserved in the ice, and he and his lab were restored by a wish made with the Dragonballs by his android assistant. He tried to take over Goku's body, but was defeated. (Killed by Goku)

Freeza (Frieza)
Space conqueror who killed King Vegeta and took over Planet Vegeta. He used the Saiyans as mercenaries to take over other planets.Freeza later destroyed Planet Vegeta itself. He attempted to seek the Namek dragonballs to wish for immortality and was responsible for blowing up Planet Namek, but was defeated by Goku. His body parts were found floating in space by his father (King Cold) and was rebuilt into robotic form. (Killed by Future Trunks) In the afterlife, he allied with Cell to terrorize hell, but was defeated by Paiku-han and Goku. He attempted this once again in Dragonball GT, but was again defeated by Goku.

Gill
Little robot with the feature of a dragon radar(swallowed the dragonball radar) created by Dr. Myuu. It was found by Goku, Pan, and Trunks and befriended the crew.

Ginyu (Captain Ginyu)
Leader of the Ginyu Team. Specialty: can swap bodies with victims. He tried to swap bodies with Goku, but Goku threw a frog in the way and Captain Ginyu ended up becoming the frog.

Gokou
Gokou (or Goku) is the main character of Dragonball. He is a Sayain who was sent to Earth to wipe out all life so it could be sold. When he arrived on Earth he was found by Gohan. One day Gokou fell down a cliff and hit his head, losing his memory. Gohan trained Gokou to be a skilled fighter but one night Gokou was transformed into an Oozaru (a giant ape) after looking at the full moon. He accidentally stepped on his grandfather Gohan killing him. Gokou went on to become a defender of Earth and the strongest sayain. He married Chi Chi, and had 2 sons, Gohan (named after his grandfather), and Goten.

Goku Jr.
Grandson of Pan. He appeared in the only Dragonball GT TV special on March 25, 1997. This coward gained courage and gathered the dragonballs to make a wish to heal his dying grandmother. At the end of Dragonball GT, Goku Jr. appeared again in a tournament battle against Vegeta Jr.

Gohan
Gohan is Gokou's first son named in honor of Gokou's late Grandfather. He turns out to be one of the most powerful charactors in DBZ. He is actaully the strongest when he is younger because he has an uncontrolable temper. This power enabled him to become the first Super Saiyan Level 2. As well, he was extremely inteligent when he was young because his mother, Chi Chi, constantly urged him to study harder. Without a Kaio Upgrade, Gohan would have become one of the weaker fighters because he doesn't continue his training as he gets older. As an adult he marries a human girl he meets in High School, Videl (who is the daughter of Mr. Satan). With Videl he has his daughter, Pan.

Goten
Goten is the second son of Gokou and Chi-Chi. He is Trunks' best friend even though he is a year younger. Goten turns Super Sayain at the age of seven but never passes level 1. He looks a lot like Gokou and wears a miniture version of Goku's karate clothes. Goten is usually happy, but has a habit for throwing tantrums to get something he wants.

Gotenks
The fusion result of Goten and Trunks; can reach SSJ3 level. Goku taught the fusion technique so that the boys can have a chance to defeat Boo, but it turned out that Gotenks was still no match for Boo.

Gogeta (Gozita) (Gogita)
(From Movie 12) the fusion result of Goku and Vegeta. In Dragonball GT, Gogeta formed again when Super Goku 4 fused with Super Vegeta 4.

Guldo
Short 4 eyed member of Team Ginyu. Specialty: can pause time and paralyze his opponents by holding his breath. (Killed by Vegeta)

Guru
Eldest Namek. In the Freeza Series, he helped unleash Krillin and Gohan's hidden powers. (Died of old age)

Hatchhyack
(From OVA special) powerful creation of Dr. Raichi. Hatchhyack was eventually killed by the fireballs of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Future Trunks.

Hirudegarn
(From Movie 13) A huge lizard like monster brought to life by evil magicians. Hirudegarn was cut in half to be stopped. Its upper body was absorbed by Tapion and its lower body was absorbed by Minosha. Hoi released the monster from Tapion's brother and Hirudegarn killed the kid. Then the upper body was released and the bodies fused back into one. Hirudegarn began to terrorize Earth, but was killed by Goku's dragon punch.

Hoi
(From Movie 13) one of the evil magicians who created Hirudegarn. He was responsible for re-unleashing Hirudegarn. (negligently stomped to death by Hirudegarn)

Ii-Shenlong
Evil dragon of the 1 star dragonball. Ii-Shenlong fused with all the dragonballs and became the strongest of the evil Shenlongs. (Killed by Goku)

Janenba
(From Movie 12) evil spirit of the dead that infested the body of a teenager working in the heavens. Janenba disrupted the heavens and brought the dead back to life. He was vanquished by Gogeta and the teenager was restored back to normal.

Jiece
A long haired, Rock-and-roll member of Team Ginyu. He is the fourth member of the Ginyu Force. (Killed by Vegeta)

King Kai (North; Kaiou)
Watcher who trained Goku to battle Nappa and Vegeta. Kaiou also trained the Z Warriors in preparation of Freeza.

Kaiou-shin
A higher form of the guardians whose people was killed by Buu.

Kami
Good half of Daimoa, Guardian of the Earth. This Namek is the creator of the dragonballs on the earth and a trainer of Goku. In the Vegeta Series, he also trained Krillin, Tenshin-han, Chaozu, Yamcha, and Yajirobe. In the Cell Series, Kami permanently fused with Piccolo.

Karin-sennin
Guardian of Karin Tower; grows senzu beans. He is also a cat. Trained Goku to fight Daimao.

Krillin (Kuririn) (Klilyn) (Kulilin)
Little monk who trained with Goku under Master Roshi. He was always jealous of Goku. His true intentions for learning martial arts was to find a girlfriend. When he grew up, he married Android 18 and became the father of Marron.

Lunch
Bank robber with 2 sides. When Lunch switches her personalities with each sneeze. She fell in love with Tenshin-han in Dragonball, but hardly appeared again in Dragonball Z or Dragonball GT.

Marron
Daughter of Krillin and Android 18. Marron was also the name of Krillin's first girlfriend, to whom his daughter was named after.

Master Roshi (Kame-sennin)
He and Tsuru-sennin trained under the same master, but they became enemies because Tsuru-sennin was evil and because they fell in love with the same girl. Master Roshi assumed the title as the world's strongest man when he won a Tenkaichi Boudoukai tournament. Later, he trained the Ox-King and Grandpa Gohan. Years later, he trained Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha. Master Roshi also has an identity as Jackie Chun. Unfortunately, Master Roshi is a very perverted man.

Minosha
Tapion's little brother who looks like Trunks. The bottom half of Hirudegarn was trapped into his body, but Hoi released it. Then, Hirudegarn smashed and killed Minosha.
Nail
Best warrior on Planet Namek. He permanently fused with Piccolo in the Freeza Series.

Nappa
Evil Saiyan partner of Vegeta. He and Vegeta traveled together to Earth to seek the dragonballs for immortality. Nappa is responsible for the deaths of Chao-tsuu, Yamcha, and Piccolo. When Goku beat him up, he was betrayed and killed by Vegeta. When Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu escaped from hell in Dragonball GT, Nappa escaped as well and was killed again by Vegeta.

Oolong
Shape-shifting pig friend of our heroes. Oolong is a coward as well as perverted.

Ox-King
Crazy loyal student of Master Roshi and owner of Fire Mountain. He is also the father of Chi-Chi.

Paiku-han
Dead warrior of West Kaiou. He fought Goku in a battle tournament of the dead which resulted in a tie (also made an appearance in Movie 12).

Pan
Daughter of Gohan and Videl. This one-fourth Saiyan teenager wanted to prove herself and tagged along most of the adventures in the beginning of Dragonball GT.

Piccolo
Evil son of Daimoa. He fought Goku in a Tenkaichi Boudoukai to revenge his father but was defeated. A few years later, he allied with Goku, trained Gohan, and became good. Piccolo was killed by Nappa but restored with the Namek dragonballs. He also fused permanently with Nail and Kami. Piccolo was killed again when the Earth exploded in the Baby Series. In heaven, Piccolo purposely caused trouble to be sent to hell to help Goku return to Earth in Dragonball GT.

Pilaf
First enemy of Goku. He attempted to steal the dragonballs from Goku and Bulma to wish for world domination, but ran away after Goku reached Oozaru stage and destroyed his castle. Years later, in Dragonball GT, Pilaf reappeared and accidently wished Goku back into a kid and ran away once again.

Popo
Assistant of the Guardian of the Earth (Kami and then Dende). When he became a zombie of Baby, he used the Black Star dragonballs to wish back Planet Plant for Baby.

Porunga Shenlong
Dragon of the Namek dragonballs; more powerful than the Shenlong of Earth can grant 3 wishes at a time.

Puar (Poole)
Accomplice of Yamcha. Puar went to the same morphing school of Oonlong and shares the same morphing ablity.

Radditz
Older brother of Goku. He was sent to seek Goku and return with him, the Saiyans, but to his disappointment Goku was not evil as planned. (Killed by Piccolo)

Recoom
Huge human like muscular member of Team Ginyu. (Killed by Goku)

Ryan-Shenlong
Evil dragon of the 2 star dragonball. This dragon of water (pollution) was born when Bora was wished back to life. (Killed by Goku)

Ryuu-Shenlong
Evil dragon of the 6 star dragonball. This dragon of hurricane was born when Oolong wished for a pair of panties. (Killed by Goku)

Saiba-man
Brainless little monster grown out of alien seeds. When Planet Vegeta existed, Vegeta trained by killing these brainless monsters. When Vegeta arrived to Earth, Nappa planted six of these to fight the Z warriors. One killed Yamcha. The rest were killed by Krillin.

San-Shenlong
Suu-Shelong's older brother; evil dragon of the 3 star dragonball. This dragon is associated with ice.

Satan (Sataan)
Cowardly father of Videl. He assumed the title as the best fighter and hero of Earth when he stole the credit for killing Cell. Throughout his life with the title, he faked illnesses and used bribery to escape having to fight in the tournaments. At old age, he passed on his title to Ubuu.

Shenlong (Shenron)
Dragon that appears when summoned when all 7 dragonballs are gathered; created by Kami; can grant only 1 wish a year

Slug
(From Movie 4) evil Namek conqueror. His spaceship crashed on Earth and he used the dragonballs to wish back his youth. (Killed by Goku)

Super 17
Fusion result of Android 17 and Artificial 17. He killed Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu. (Killed by Goku)

Suu-Shenlong
Evil dragon of the 4 star dragonball. This dragon of the sun (heat) was born when Daimao wished to restore to full power.

Tao Pai-Pai
Tsuru-sennin's brother. He has the title as the World's Greatest Assistant. After killing Bora and chasing after Goku, Tao Pai-Pai was beaten and thought to have been killed by Goku (with the help of Arale from Dr. Slump). Tao Pai-Pai was made into a cyborg to survive and reappeared in the Cell Series, where he made money offering a shelter that would protect people from Cell. Gohan encountered Tao Pai-Pai, destroyed the shelter building, and Tao Pai-Pai ran away in fear that Goku had a son who was stronger than him.

Tapion
Hero whose home planet was destroyed by Hirudegarn. Hirudegarn's upper body was contained in his body and he was locked up in a box to make sure that Hirudegarn wouldn't become a threat again. The monster escaped but was defeated. Tapion left Earth and gave his sword to Trunks as a gift.

Turless
(From Movie 3) Evil Saiyan who looks like Goku. Taurus planted his energy absorbing tree (Tree of Might) in the Earth in hope to eat its fruit to become super strong. (Killed by Goku)

Tien (Tenshin-han)
In Dragonball Movie 3, he was the duke of Mifan and guardian of Chao-tsu. In the series, he is a student of Tsuru-sennin. He and Chao-tsu discovered that their master was evil and abandoned him. Tenshin-han was killed by Nappa but is revived from a wish with the Namek dragonballs. He also appears again in the Buu Series and saves Gohan's life by deflecting Boo's fireball.

Trunks(Chibi)
Son of Vegeta and Bulma. He was able to reach Super Saiyan level at a young age and can fuse with Goten to become Gotenks. In Dragonball GT, he journeyed with Goku and Pan in search of the Black Star dragonballs.

Trunks (Future)
Future Trunks who traveled back in time in hope to alter the future. He grew up in a world where Goku died from a heart attack. Because Goku was dead, no one was able to defeat Androids 17 and 18. The Androids killed the rest of the Z warriors and terrorized the world. Future Trunks traveled back in time to give Goku medicine to prevent death from the heart attack. Upon arrival, Trunks killed Freeza and his crew. Later, he was killed by Cell but was revived by a wish from the dragonballs. Afterwards, Future Trunks returned to the future, which remained unchanged, and easily killed Androids 17 and 18 because of his training in the "present" timeline. At the same time, Cell was about to steal Trunks' time machine, but Trunks easily killed form 1 Cell.

Tsuru-sennin
Crane Elder. He and Master Roshi trained under the same master, but the classmates became enemies when they fell in love with the same girl. In Movie 3, Tsuru-sennin was blow away by Tien when he tried to kill Chaozu. In the series, he was the master of Tenshin-han and Chaozu, but his disciples left him when they learned that he was evil.

Ubuu (Oob)
Reincarnation of evil Buu. He is one of the good guys and went to train with Goku. When fat Buu was killed by Baby, Boo's particles fused back with Ubuu; they were originally one. Ubuu also won Sataan's title as the world's best fighter.

Uranai Baba
Master Roshi's sister. This little old witch can bring a dead person back to life for 24 hours and can see what's happening in the world with her crystal ball. She can also see the future).

Uu-Shenlong
Evil dragon of the 5 star dragonball. This dragon of electricity was born when Goku was wished back to life to fight Nappa and Vegeta. (Killed by Goku)

Vegeta (Vejita) (Bejita)
Evil Prince of the Saiyans who grew up following Freeza's orders to conquer other planets. Vegeta was defeated for the first time by Goku and retreated (Vegeta Series). Then, he allied with the Z warriors in battling Freeza in the Freeza Series, Vegeta easily gets jealous at other warriors because he wanted to be the strongest. Vegeta also vows that Kakarrot's life belongs to him. In the Cell Series, Vegeta reaches SSJ level for the first time. Vegeta officially became one of the good guys in the Buu Series, when he realized that Goku is stronger. In the Buu Series, he became one of Babi-di's zombies, Majin-Vegeta, and self-destructed in hope of destroying Buu. He was revived by King Yama to fight Buu. Vegeta also fuses with Goku to become Vegetto. In Dragonball GT, Baby took over his body and he became Bebi-Vegeta. Then, he reaches SSJ4 level the first time, and fused with Super Saiyan Goku 4 to become Gogeta once again (since Movie 12).

Vegeta-Bebi
Result of Baby's takeover of Vegeta's body. After reaching Oozaru form, Bebi-Vegeta was defeated by Goku. Baby fled from Vegeta's body but was killed by Goku.

Vegetto (Bejito)
Fusion of Goku and Vegeta fused when each wore one of Dai-Kaioushin's special earrings on opposite ears. Vegetto was able to stand up to Boo, but allowed Boo to absorb him anyway to rescue their comrades still inside of Boo's body and so that the effects of the permanent fusion would be cancelled.

Videl (Beeduru)
Satan's daughter. She joined Gohan in crime fighting and became part of the Great Saiyan-man team. Later, she married Gohan and had a daughter, Pan.

Yajirobe
Cowardly fat warrior who hangs around in Karin Tower. His most important contributions were cutting off Vegeta's tail and giving senzu beans to our heroes when they were down. In the Vegeta Series he claimed to be the Leader of the Z Warriors.

Yamcha
Road bandit/robber with a shyness towards girls. He befriended our heroes, loss his shyness, and became one of the good guys. In the Vegeta Series, Yamcha was killed by a Saiba-man, but revived with a wish from the dragonballs.

Zarbon
Good looking blue right-hand man of Freeza. He was the one who gave Freeza the idea that the Saiyans might become a threat. From this idea, Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta. (Killed by Vegeta)
