During her 15th birthday, she was taken by a youkai (demon) inside the well in their old shrine and on to the Sengoku Jidai (Feudal Era). One thing changed her life, the Shikon no Tama (Jewel of the four Gods). It was inside her body. This jewel makes the holder powerful. That's why all the youkai and people with evil heart wants this.
