well a MUD is basicly a typing RPG game and they can be quite addicting.

Well basically what you need is a mud client which you can download for free
or buy online. Iif you are new to mud i recommned the mud clients in the bottom of this text just click on the link to go to the downlaod page.
When you get on www.mudconnect.com on your left you'll see the menu, go to Resources then go to Mud Clients on
your on your right. Check out the ones you like and download it. Remember that some are free while others are not.

When you get on www.mudconnect.com go to search on your left. Enter the name of the
a mud you are looking for like dragon ball z or gundam then click search or press
enter. The search results will be displayed soon. You can also check if the mud is
up and running by right clicking on Connect to (name of mud) then click
(Open in New Window). You do this because if you open connect to in the same window
you'll have to do you search again. Once the new window is open click on connect to
again. Telnet which is your default client on your computer (don't use to play) will
pop up and try to connect to the mud. If the connection is successful you'll see
the login screen. After that close telnet and connect by using your mud client. | |

Once you installed the client
and have the address for the mud just type the address into the client. Its usually
in file > new world or new what ever it is. Then it should show you to put the IP/TCP
address for example gundamom.xidus.net and the port number like 1984.
