--Akira Toriyama's, the creator of Dragonball & Dragonball Z, favorite character is Trunks.

--Gohan was orginally going to be the main character of Dragonball Z but fans of the show in Japan wanted Goku to remain the main character.

--Vegeta wasn't planned to be one of the main characters of Dragonball Z but after his apperance in the series, fans loved him and so he remained in the entire series.

--Akira Toriyama orginally planned to end Dragonball Z after the Frieza saga but his wife convinced him to continue with the series. [Thanks goodness! ^_~]
