Springtime In Alaska
This is my first real foray into actual paints and brushes and such. I was pleasantly surprised with myself. I didn't try and do any creatures or anything like that, I just went into it creating something odd, beautiful and different from anything I'd really done before. There are elements of collage in this, you really can't tell because the lack of quality in the camera kinda took away some of the details that are easy to see when you're in front of it. The golden area is crushed up newsprint, and in the middle is a picture of Johnny Cash clipped from The News and Observer on his birthday.
