Here are close-ups of certain picture frames in the room. They are actually home-made and cost almost nothing.
These two frames are plastic imitating wood. I really like their different shape. I bought them in a thrift store for $2, painted them and put wallpaper sample images in that I glued on cardboard. I teared the paper instead of using cisors to give an old worn look. |
These three frames were bought at IKEA. They are sold unpainted so I painted them, added little wooden stars that I painted gold to keep the subtil celestial theme. |
Inspired by a magazine, I painted these three frames on canevas with easy and quick stuff: crackling and stencilling. Kept the gold and celestial theme, added a few decorative nails in the corners and voilą! |
