By far the best 3D Platformer in the world so far, Banjo-Kazooie shocked the nation in mid-1999. It was a tale of a bear-bird duo out to rescue the sweet bear Tooty from the evil Gruntilda. She has created a beauty-stealing device to steal Tooty's beauty and put it in to her own wrinky body leaving Tooty an ugly fat old hag. With the aid of Bottles the Mole's moves and Mumbo Jumbo the Shamen's tranformation techniques, Banjo and Kazooie set off on a heroic quest which would bring them from their peaceful home in Spiral Mountain to the Final Showdown with Gruntilda. On the way they had to collect notes, jingos, honeycombs, acorns and even caterpillars to reach the ultimate goal of all 100 jiggies from all 9 worlds and the Witch's Lair. My favourite world, Click Clock Wood is where you can visit the world in each of the 4 seasons making thousands of possibilities possible. It took me an hour just to finally reach the top of the wood! The hardest world however is Rusty Bucket Bay in which the water is so infested that you have to be completely out of the water for ages to be completely safe! There are many secrets in Banjo-Kazooie including the Bottles Bonus Puzzles and the Cheat Codes that can be typed in on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove:
