The first installment
in the DKC trilogy saw Donkey and Diddy Kong head off from their home
to find their missing Banana hoard fighting an army of Kremlings and
many other strange enemies until they finally reach the evil King
Krool, king of the Kremlings. This brought a new generation of video
games to the world with graphics that nobody thought possible until
Rare came along. This game was by far the best 2D platformer at the
time in a league of it's own. The amazing bosses and excellent worlds
made Super Mario World look like a piece of dung compared to
this!
This not so good sequal to DKC saw Diddy team up with
his bird Dixie Kong in an attempt to save Donkey Kong from Krool who
is this time reincarnated as a murderous pirate. This game is by far
the hardest of the DKC Trilogy and also the longest. You'll have to
be a video gaming genious to complete this game.
Now this is goooooooooood! Guide Dixie Kong and her long
lost cousin Kiddie on a quest to save Diddy and Donkey Kong from the
clutches of Krool again reincarnated this time as a mad proffesor. In
DKC3, there is alot more to the game that completing the final level,
alot more. To complete this game you'll need to get 41 DK Coins from
every level (including the levels in Krementoa, the secret world) and
collect all 15 banana birds from across the world. To find some of
them you'll need to use the Gyrocopter, a special vehicle that can be
used for flying over to secret locations. After you've done all that,
you can see the final ending and it is amazing!!
