Benjamin Ewing 'Bennie' Pyeatt was born April 28, 1872, in Arkansas (probably Washington County)to William H and Elizabeth W Barrington Pyeatt. He married c1897 (probably Washington County, Arkansas) Nannie L Fisher who was born c1876 in Arkansas and who died in March or August 1930.

Ben appeared as 'Benjamin E' age 8 on the 1880 census with his parents in Washington County, Arkansas. On the 1900 census which is not yet indexed, I have not yet located Ben.
On the 1910 census of Marrs Hill Township, Washington County, Arkansas, they appeared as follows:

- Pyeatt, Nannie L (wife) age 34 born AR / wf / married1 13 yrs / 2 children/2 living / father born IL/mother born IA
- Pyeatt, Gracie B (daughter) age 12 born AR / wf / single / father/mother born AR
- Pyeatt, Madge L (daughter) age 8 born OK / wf / single / father/mother born AR
This family was enumerated #97 pg 151A ED #139 image 13/22. Their neighbors were Joseph M Gibson (w/ Richard Sutherland), John Thurman, George H Pettigrew, Virgil Ray, and William P Carnahan. At #137 were Ben's parents, at #139 Ben's uncle, Jacob P Pyeatt and at #173 Ben's cousin, Robert E Pyeatt. Ben's brother, Hugh B Pyeatt was in Center Township.
