Hugh appeared as 'Hugh B' (initial looks like 'D') age 16 on the 1900 census with his parents in Washington County, Arkansas. Since this census is not indexed, I have not attempted to find Nannie with her family.

On the 1910 census of Center Township, Washington County, Arkansas, Hugh and family appeared as follows:

• Pyeatt, Lena M (wife) age 21 born AR / wf / married1 2 yrs / 1 child/1 living / father born AR/mother born KY
• Pyeatt, Roy D (son) age 1 1/2 born AR / wm / single / father/mother born AR

This family was enumerated #8 pg 40A ED #130 image 1/28. Their neighbors were Frank Asher, Amos Stone, Thomas Asher, Sam Richardson, and Elonzo Burr. In Marrs Hill Township was Hugh's brother, Ben E Pyeatt, at #97; at #137 were Hugh's parents, at #139 Hugh's uncle, Jacob P Pyeatt and at #173 Hugh's cousin, Robert E Pyeatt.
