Louis and Emma Pyeatt Andrews

Emma Pyeatt was born in August of 1883 in Missouri (probably St Louis County) to Jacob and Isabella Pyeatt Pyatt. Emma grew up in the Franklin/St. Louis County, Missouri area. She married first c1905 (probably St. Louis County, Missouri) Louis Andrew who was born c1880 in Missouri and married second before 1928 William O'Neal born c1884 in Missouri.

Louis and Emma had the following known children:

On the 1910 census, Emma and family appeared in a boarding house with the Smith, Moore, Eastwood and other families as follows:

Nextdoor, at #1307 Boyle Avenue lived Emma's parents with her siblings, Harry, Maude and Charles and with her uncle, Thomas Pyeatt. At 1309 Boyle lived Emma's brother, Albert Walter Pyatt, and his wife.

This family was enumerated 29 Apr 1910.

On the 1920 census of St Louis, St Louis County, Missouri, Emma's children were with her parents as follows:

This family was enumerated #116/441/12/83 #9 4200 Manchester Avenue. It appears that they have moved from the Boyle Street Address.

Emma finally appears with her children again on the Central Township, St Louis County, Missouri, 1930 census as follows:

This family was enumerated #311 72/67 and 72/67a Enclid Avenue (Ancestry.com image 5/25). Walter was listed as 67 and the rest as 67A indicating two residences or floors perhaps? It is not surprising that Emma or her children would be close to Walter as the children lived with Walter and his parents much of the time that Emma was not in residence. Living at #4222 Arco Street was Emma's brother, William Pyatt, and family; their sister, Maud Halla, and family was at #6904 West Avenue; their brother, Harry Pyatt, was in Carondolet Township, St. Louis County, Missouri; and, their brother, Charles B Pyatt, was across the river in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois.
