James A and Laura A Yaughberry Pyatt

Reverend James A Pyatt was born October 12, 1870 in Pyatt Hollow (or Cherryville) Missouri to Reverend Daniel Washington and Margaret 'Mary' A Bryant Pyatt and died August 8, 1937 in Osage Township, Crawford County, Missouri. He first married at James Burnes' in Crawford County, Missouri, on January 15, 1891, Laura Alice Yawberry (other spellings Yaughberry and Yawbury). The service was performed by James' father, Daniel. Laura was born January 27, 1873, to Robert and Mary Silvia Yawberry and died October 4, 1919 at 4365 Norfolk Avenue, St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri. James and Laura are buried in the Turnbough Cemetery, Crawford County, Missouri. At the time of James' death in 1937, he was married to Ida ?.

James and Laura had the following known children:

By the 1900 census, James had started a large family in Osage Township, Crawford County, Missouri:

This family was enumerated 26/9/4/32. James' parents lived nearby at 26/9/2/30 with his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Cora Pyatt. Others living in Osage Township were his brother, Pleasant, and uncles, William and Benjamin Pyatt.

I don't have this family on the 1910 census.

Laura died before 1920. Her death certificate reads as follows:
