John and Irene K ? Piatt
John L (or T or P) Piatt was born c1848 in Illinois to John Piatt and Martha McMurtray. He married before 1880 to Irene K ? who was born c1856 in Illinois. I do not find John’s marriage in Henry county along with his siblings. I wonder where he and Irene married?
According to an autobiographical sketch listed under 1877 Weller Township, Henry County, Illinois tax records, Lafayette’s father, John, was born in Hamilton County, Ohio; lived in Ohio about twenty-four years and in Indiana two years; removed to this state, 1839, and to this county, 1840, and has lived here over thirty-six years.
John ‘L’ Piatt age 2 born IL was enumerated with his family on the 1850 census of Henry County, Illinois. Jno Piatt age 12 born IL was enumerated with his family on the ?Winona PO, Weller Township, Henry County, Illinois, 1860 census. John ‘P’ Piatt age 21 born IL was enumerated with his family on the 1870 census of Bishophill P O, Weller Township, Henry County, Illinois, #42/45 pg 137 (pg 6 top left side)(ancestry image 6/40).
