Mary Alice Pyeatt was born December 31, 1866, in Washington County, Arkansas to Samuel Carnahan Pyeatt and Elizabeth Francis Tucker and died March 3, 1908, in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas. She is buried in the Nichols Cemetery, Ingram, Kerr County, Texas. Mary married July 15, 1886, in Kerr County, Texas, Hugh Carey Crenshaw who was born April 21, 1856, in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana and died July 25, 1933, in Ingram, Kerr County, Texas and is also buried in the Nichols Cemetery. He is the son of Harrison Jefferson Crenshaw c1805 SC - c1890 TX and Elizabeth Hall c1812 KY - c1860 Newton Co, TX.
