Samuel C and Elizabeth F Tucker Pyeatt
Samuel Carnahan Pyeatt son of Henry Porter and Ursephena Carnahan Pyeatt was born March 13, 1836, in Washington County, Arkansas, and died April 3, 1918, in Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. Samuel married March 14, 1861, in Bonham, Fannin County, Texas, Elizabeth Frances Tucker. I note that on that same day in Fannin County, Texas, Samuel's sister, Catherine A Pyeatt married Henry T Chapin. We can only assume that this was a double wedding for the Pyeatt family. Elizabeth was born March 25, 1848, in Vineyard Township, Washington County, Arkansas, to William Milton Tucker and Martha Jane Carlile. She died May 14, 1927, in Palisade, Mesa County, Colorado and was buried in the Palisade Cemetery, Mesa County, Colorado, on May 15, 1927.
