William J and Laura Price Piatt

William Jake Piatt was born August 21, 1875, in Jasper County, Indiana to Simeon A and Minnie Keener Piatt and died on July 9, 1964, Rensselaer, Jasper County, Indiana. William is buried in Prater Cemetery, Barkley Township, Jasper County, Indiana.

William's parents divorced before he was five years old and he was raised by his mother and her second husband, Cleaver Darwin Braskette in Jasper County, Indiana.

He married Laura Bell Price who was the daughter of William Price and Isabelle V Whited.
