at 7:05pm, and presided over by VP Bubba Whittemore in
Pres’s absence.

No Treasurer’s report

Old Business: Brought the
new District 9 shoulder patches to the meeting, selling
for $3 each. Of original 50, only have 22 left. Also
handed out extra Toy Run t-shirts to those present who
had special ordered them. Discussed the Brookshire’s
canned food drive, and minor write-up about same in local
paper, which listed us by our old name, the Southwest
Arkansas Road Runners.
New Business: Placed member
names into nomination for officers and state board reps
for 2001. Also determined tentative dates for 2001
District 9 Events. They will be: Magnolia Blossom
Festival Bike Show - Saturday, May 19th; End-of-Summer
Rally - weekend of September 14th-16th; Christmas 2001
Toy Run - Sunday, November 18th. Scheduled workday at
clubhouse, to clean up ice storm damage, for Sunday
afternoon, January 7th, at 1pm. We will also need to work
up a plan for needed maintenance on clubhouse and grounds.
