Old Business: Event reports
were given pertaining to ROT Rally in Austin,
Confederates M/C Rally, Toys for Tots Run, Biker Sunday
in Magnolia, and the El Dorado (Scharbor’s) Bike
Show.
New Business: Discussed
upcoming events (July and August). Handed out flyers for
ABATE state rally coming up in August. Took tentative
count of those (at the meeting) who plan to participate
in our upcoming monthly dinner ride (16) , and group ride
(14). Reminded everyone that the D9-sponsored MSF
Experienced Rider Course is this coming (July 14-15)
weekend. Also discussed Little Sturgis, and this year’s
trip to Sturgis, N.D.
Discussed need for volunteers
to help keep clubhouse area mowed, before meetings and/or
events.
Attending and signing on as
new members at the meeting were Randy Elmore and Keith
Jackson. Also welcomed new members Wes & Carolyn
Byrd, and Ernie Carter. Attending as a guest was bike
artist Chuck Hanson.
