President Whitefield called meeting to order at 7:05pm

Old Business: Discussed last month’s D9 Group
ride and Dinner ride, the annual Swamp Riders MC rally,
the Purple Hull Pea Festival (and parade), and the
Bedrock Club party that took place in El Dorado.
New Business: Russell Rowe showed members his new
design for our official D9 logo caps and t-shirts
(which will be offered with, or without pockets). Members
voted on type and color for each. Also discussed were
upcoming events: Fantastic 4th Celebration/Bike Show
in El Dorado (July 4th), Toy Run for Arkansas
Children’s Hospital (July 7th), Biker Sunday
to be held in Magnolia (July 8th), Little
Sturgis (KY), July 19th thru the 22nd,
and, of course, Sturgis Rally, Aug. 4th
- 13th.
D9 Dinner Ride and Group Ride destinations were
also confirmed. Dee West informed members that he had
talked to our landlord Duwayne about the electrical
improvements he had in mind for the clubhouse and Duwayne
gave Dee his approval to move forward.
President Whitefield gave members handouts with info
pertaining to our annual End-of-Summer Rally, set
for the weekend of September 14-16. Committee
responsibilities were lined out for each aspect of the
rally, and members were asked to volunteer to chair
committees. Russell Rowe was also advised to begin
working on Rally t-shirt design. And, finally, members
were made aware of the upcoming Music Fest, in
October.
Guests Sonny & Monica Moss from El Dorado were guests
at the meeting and signed up as new D9 members.
