VP Bubba Whittemore presided over meeting in President
Whitefields absence.
Old Business: Discussed Jefferson, Tx. Mardi Gras parade/rally,
possible trip to Gastons White River Resort, and
upcoming ROT Rally in Austin. An update was given about
the District 1 Bike Show from last month.
New Business: Handed out flyers with info about Swamp
Riders upcoming rally, bike shows in Hot Springs (District
14) and Texarkana (Dwights Bikers Dream/Show
of Wheels), as well as Governor Conway Festival Days (Bradley),
and 13 Rebels/ABATE 4 & 8 Bike Show/Tattoo Contest/Swap
Meet, in Eureka Springs, in April. Also talked about the
"barn-raising" at John Ramares house this
month. Jay Brown emphasized that he has 2 slots available
to fill out the first MSF Experienced Rider Course class
he and Carl Burdine will be offering on Saturday, March
24th. Have also set date for our annual Ice Breaker to be
held on Saturday, April 21st (details in write-up, these
D9 pages).
New member David Chilcote rode in from Hampton to attend
the meeting, and was heartily welcomed to our ranks.
