Soul lost in a stranger's land,
Solitary in a toxic place,
Chases butterflies by hand,
Cannot grasp, nonexistent space,
Emotional visitations past,
Drink bitter pain and choke,
Hear echoes gone, love wildly laughs.
Walks on water as it burns afire,
Fights coloured wind, heavy on mind,
Stumbles, gnarled tree, twisted lies,
Bleeds tears, unlike others of kind,
Poltergeist feelings, infinitely last,
Catch my reflection, mirrored screams,
Lonely player, endless cast,
No way gone, sadness dreams.
Open heart tastes the sunlight,
During dark hours, all times,
Seen a sign, unknown plight,
Circled moon, lit bisecting light,
Perfect encompassed, internal square,
One star at each corner,
May symbol an upcoming fate,
Translation not clear, loneliness waits.
