Treasure chest

 

I'm an oyster thrown away,

Because of an overlooked pearl,

Unseen fire of the sapphire,

Burns deep with in my eyes,

A single diamond slides down my cheek,

Golden character tarnished with pain,

Treasure chest eternaly locked,

Full of unspoken gems,

Ruby glow exudes from my chest,

Ivory smile reflects no light,

All buried within the mortal flesh,

Not yet discovered,

Or shared as eternal wealth,

All the is lacking is the key to love,

Exposed to sunlight,

To glitter in someone elses eyes.
