Worlds collide
As universes collide,
In parallel dimensions,
Reality is distorted,
Complete unknown visions,
Not of mine, but theirs,
My world careens to one side,
It's crumbling, despairs.
Destruction is accelerating,
No way to stop the fall,
To lose again is frustrating,
I hear the vulture's call,
I have no depth perception,
I'm losing track of good,
I can not restrain the tension,
I'm in an explosive mood.
Try to be good to man,
Share love and brotherhood,
Always lend a helping hand,
When others would have stood,
But I keep going through trials,
Tasks of increasing difficulty,
Seems more and more I fall,
I alone have morality.
Starting to trust only instincts,
As the world turns on me wild,
Bonds getting tighter, unbreakable links,
As they entrap me for a while,
I'm losing touch with reality,
Can't believe it's happening,
Try to get ahead, face indignities,
My universe is disintegrating.
My dome is starting to crumble,
Windows start to cry,
My mind is strewn with rubble,
Emotions start to die,
Gateway twitches and shakes,
Shutters erratic, open and close,
Rock of determination breaks,
As they continue to destroy my world.
