Nov. 22

Chris Redman has not been passed on the Ravens' depth chart by Ray Lucas, so he will be the primary backup to starter Chris Redman tomorrow, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Nov. 11

Chris Redman was the backup to Kyle Boller, but now that Boller is hurt Redman will remain a backup - behind Anthony Wright. The Ravens revealed the decision on Tuesday.

Nov. 11

Ravens coach Brian Billick has yet to decide whether Chris Redman or Anthony Wright will start in place of the injured Kyle Boller this weekend, according to the Baltimore Sun. If Redman gets the nod, he likely would be on a short leash after racking up a quarterback rating of 26 in his two relief appearances this season.

Nov. 10

With Kyle Boller's season potentially over, Chris Redman will likely take over starting duties for the Ravens. Redman struggled after taking over for Boller in the second half on Sunday, completing 7-of-12 passes for 58 yards and two INTs. He was also sacked five times and lost one of two fumbles.

Aug. 29

Chris Redman tanked in his last shot to win the Ravens' starting quarterback job Thursday when he went 1-for-6 for a paltry 11 yards.

Aug. 28

It appears that Chris Redman has all but lost the battle with rookie Kyle Boller for the starting quarterback job in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Sun. Redman will play in tonight's preseason game, but Boller will start.

Aug. 23

Chris Redman fared better than Kyle Boller in Saturday's preseason game, as the two battle for the starting job in Baltimore. He completed 17 of his 28 pass attempts for 163 yards and an interception, though he did so in the second half, against mostly a second-string defense.

July 31

Chris Redman took nearly every snap with the first team Wednesday en route to throwing around 60 passes between both practices, according to the Baltimore Sun. Redman's workload, however, will likely decrease now that Kyle Boller has ended his hold out and reported to camp.

May 9

Chris Redman will run the Ravens' first-team offense during their minicamp this week, according to the Baltimore Sun. Coach Brian Billick has declared an open competition for the starting quarterback job. League rules will keep first-round pick Kyle Boller from joining the team this weekend, but he will be Redman's primary competition.

Feb. 12

Chris Redman began rehabilitating his back this week at the Ravens' training facility, according to the Baltimore Sun. Redman, who is on pace to begin throwing lightly in 3-to-5 weeks, is expected to back up Jeff Blake next season, assuming Blake re-signs.
