How Did It All Begin??

Delta Sigma Pi (ΔΣΠ) became TRU's very first sorority on January 14, 2005. Its founding sisters were Gillian Borho, Jackie Borho, Rachel Borho, Maegan Fey, Demetra Koutsopodiotis, and Rachel Rhodenizer. Combining their research of other North American sororities with their own concepts of an ideal sorority, Delta Sigma Pi was born! By the end of June 2005, we had a respectable number of thirty two wonderful members!

As Delta Sigma Pi is not yet nationally affiliated with the Panhellenic Conference, we are still an independant club, but it is only a matter of time before that changes!

Our Creed

We are a group of University women interested in helping each other become strong, independent professionals. It is our goal to attain academic excellence, foster a positive University environment for all women, and to give back to our community and society.

What does Delta Sigma Pi stand for?

Though most sororities do not place meanings for their Greek letters, we have because we're special. Our letters represent Determination, Strength, and Professionalism.

Official Colors & Symbols

Delta Sigma Pi's colours are Aqua, Pink and Black. As we are new, and only a local sorority, we do not have any special symbols or crests at this point in time other than our Greek Letters, which are ΔΣΠ.
