Biography:

From a typical underachieving Korean family (father is a scientist for the CDC, mother is a published novelist, both brothers are cardiologists), Yun-kyung devotes her professional and personal life to saving animals. A board member of PETA, ASPCA and PAWS, she is also active with Greenpeace, Earth Day and Save The Whales, Inc. She shares her home with ten feral cats, four dogs, two bunnies and a turtle.
