Royce the 5'9, real name Ryan Montgomery, was born in Detroit Michigan on July 7, 1977. The 5'9 comes from Royce's height, five feet, nine inches. Royce began rapping at the age of 18, during his last year of high school, and has been dropping lyrics ever since. Royce met up with Eminem at an Usher concert before Eminem was with Interscope and Aftermath records. Eminem was there selling copies of the Slim Shady EP. Royce and Em just sort of clicked and started working on projects. In late 1998 they released the 9 track promo, Bad Meets Evil. The promo contained 3 songs, 'Nuttin To Do' and 'Scary Movies' which were done by both Royce & Eminem and "I'm The King", a solo Royce track. After Eminem had signed to Aftermath, he released 'The Slim Shady LP'. Royce has an appearance on track no. 19 'Bad Meets Evil'. The album went triple platinum and gave Royce some exposure. Although Eminem and Royce are a dope combination, Royce's main group was 'Wall Street'. Wall Street was made up of six members: Royce 5'9", Jah 5'9", B.O., Fuge The Wiseguy, X-Government Agent, and the Hobit (Producer). They were managed by Kino Childrey. At a point Royce moved away from the group and the other 5 members haven't really be heard from and haven't made an impact in the music business since. After being part of 313 Entertainment Group, and then Tommy Boy Entertainment, Royce finally settled with Game Recordings in early 2000. Royce has an album in the pipeline and no doubt Eminem will be on it somewhere. There is a 'Scary Movies 2' track Featuring Em planned, which should be really hot. Also expect Bad Meets Evil to release an album sometime in mid-2001. Below are some Royce Da 5'9 MP3's for you to download Royce The 5'9" - I Wont Be Royce The 5'9" f. Strick - It's Over

Outsidaz consists of: Pace Won, Young Z, Rah Diggah (of the Flip Mode Squad), Slang Ton (R.I.P.), D.U., Yah Lover, Axe, Az Izz, Bizarre Kid, Denz, and DJ Muhammed. The Outsidaz are from Newark a notoriously tough part of New Jersey. Night life was not Zee's first appearance on wax, Zee released a couple of singles on 'perspective records' around '94'/'95. Pace won all so had a solo joint titled I declare war, it didn't go that well for him though because he all so had an album that never came out. They put Pudgee The Fat Bastards album out instead. Young Z also wrote Pras's part for The Fugees song 'Ready or not' and he originally done 'Killing Me Softy' with Lauren Hill, but they took him off and put clef on it. Zee also rapped on the song 'Cowboys' from the album 'The Score'. He was caught up in a lawsuit, because Pras said that he wrote his verse from 'cowboys' so he had to get a little lawsuit to get his money. Young Zee met Pace Won on new years eve '91. They then met again when Zee went to get some beats from his man and Pace was there. They got a freestyle session on and went on to do a track. From there it was history. Zee recruited Rah Digga, Pace recruited Eminem, and together they recruited Axe, Yah Lover, and Az Izz. Pace recruited Slang Ton (R.I.P) he died on September 9th 1999. Some kid tried to stick him up and he wasn't having it he told the kid 'you better get the fuck away from me with that bullshit' and the kid shot him in the chest and in the stomach. The most unlikely member of the Outsidaz is Eminem they met back in '94 in Detroit, Pace explains it "Back in '94 a white kid picked me up from the airport as was like 'yo my names Marshall, what's yours?' I was like 'Yo my names Pace'" so Eminem played Pace his tape and pace said he found it 'fresh as hell'. So they did a song together and put them on his new album. He's all over their EP 'Nightlife' Another strand of the Outsidaz is the love story which exists between Rah Digga and Young Zee they are engaged and have a daughter together Sativa, aged 3.
