Hello, my name is Patrick. I am currently a senior at School of Visual Arts in New York City. I am majoring in graphic desgin, yet I have not mastered the art of web design. I am still concentrating on print designs. As opposed to web design, print design is more hands-on and there is more freedom in designing. I enjoy print design, however, I didn't want to limit myself to only one small field, so I sat down one weekend and squeezed my brain out to explore this new medium called HTML.

Most of the sketches shown in my "third wheel" gallery are quick sketches done during my one and a half hour commute in the train, or during a short break in class. I am not an illustration major, but drawing has always been my best way of killing time and now it just became a natural habit.

I also posted a selection of flyers that I did for Columbia University KSA's party at NIIX. NIIX is now closed, but the next door café New Yorker has turned into a small club. A flyer may not be the reason why people go to a certain club, but I think if it catches your eye, it could definitely get people to at least take a look at it. Many flyers nowadays are very heavy with digital graphics and big ugly typefaces, therefore I thought I could make it stand out if I make it a little bit cleaner and make it easier for people to find the information they need such as the date and location of the event.

I was originally planning to include more pictures of my graphic design work such as logo designs and book designs, but since this is my first attempt of making an website, I decided to hold on to my portfolio until I become more fluent in HTML.
