Problems locating a space is a reason given and additionally, the Administration claims to be dissatisfied with the medical information supplied. Unfortunately it appears that this matter will have to proceed to the formal stage. When the Director learned this, the Director immediately removed the Associate Director from office. The DFA drew upon the good offices of Vice-President Scully and held extensive discussions over a period of nearly four months between the Associate Director and a DFA Grievance Officer on the one hand, and the Director and the Dean on the other. Following extensions of the normal time period for an informal grievance, the grievance was successfully resolved with restoration of the grievor to the Associate Director's appointment. |
